As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

@meganlea ah, hopefully the next week or so fly by for you! :) that’s really helpful to know! I had a withdrawal bleed the very next day after stopping my pill which last four days. We DTD for the first time, unprotected last week but there is a not a chance I have ovulated. I just want to get into more a routine so it’s not so forced in my fertile week as I don’t want it to get like that already!

@Amy259 honestly; I feel like I’ve read every single page on google, haha! I’m going to stop now though as it’s not doing me any good and everyone has such a different experiences. I feel like I’d be better off asking you girls as we are all going through the same thing! x

Oh and I miss words all the time when I’m writing as you would have just noticed haha. Think I get ahead of myself when typing!

Welcome @Em201 sorry about your wedding! We've cancelled 2 now, it's so tough isn't it. Exciting that you're starting TTC.

Hope your really AF arrives soon so you can get to it!

I'm not @meganlea but that sound super interesting let us know how that goes. Well done for not testing!! I think I'm 7dpo ish and I'm not going to test. I found it so much easier mentally last month when I didn't test.

@Em201 never say never! My sister came off the pill and it happened first time for her!!

@beckyBP Well she got back to me and said , it was quite long so I'll just say the important bits, conception month will be April, important numbers are 19, 22 and 5 so might put lottery on actually haha, spiritual sign is seahorses and they don't see twins. Seems a load of sh*t tbh but it did dishearten me that she said April I'm kind of preying it isn't true because I don't want to wait that long and she didn't say a year for all I know it could mean April 2030 haha. I'm just going to pretend I didn't get the reading lol.

7DPO today, don't feel aaaany different, I already feel sad ha.

So backache and sore nipples this afternoon.... feel like crying as these are 100% AF symptoms they happen like clockwork in the week leading up to AF, I say I’m 7DPO but it could be anywhere between 7-9DPO and so I predict AF will be here by Sunday/Monday. 😭

I know I’m not out til I’m out but it really feels like I am my gut instinct is telling me I’m out and I really follow that 😫

Didn’t think I’d be this sad. Ordering a takeaway for tea and getting cuddled on the sofa with DH.

@meganlea I think were our own worst Enemy sometimes. It's so hard not to over think things 🙈

From what I've read on google which is a lot 😂 (I really should stop tbh 😂😬) implantation can happen 6-12 days so your still in with a chance 🤞

I took my last pill on 03 Nov so desperately waiting for a withdrawal bleed to start tracking. Not expecting to fall or conceive quickly (I'm 34) but eager to get started!

For those who have come off of the pill - how long did it take to get your withdrawal bleed?

Welcome! I'm fairly new here too. Good luck with your journey.
I was also on the mini pill. It took 29 days for me to have my withdrawal bleed. I'm not sure if I would have skipped the withdrawal bleed as from my understanding withdrawal bleeds come sooner that that but who knows!
Now on my first cycle and am 3 dpo xx

The WB arrived this morning so I'm feeling a little bit more relaxed now. Who knew this "making a baby thing" was so complicated! It's definitely not as easy as they make it look on tv!

Good luck with your first cycle! Are doing anything special to keep track?

I've started with folic acid (seven seas) and keep forcing wellman down OH!

Thank you! I am just using Flo at the moment and DTD over the fertile window. If I get a few months down the line and still no success, I may look into OPKs, BBT & SMEP but as you say, seems a little complicated at first look. I guess I am following SMEP but without using OPKs. What's your plan?
I'm also taking seven seas, need to get wellman for OH - Hadn't thought of that! Thanks x

@bluemagicalsky Currently my plan is to try and track using Ovia and basically just have lots of DTD!

It would be good to know how long my cycles are and then go from there. I also don't think I'm quite ready for OPKs etc although a thermometer did "fall" into my basket today

I think I'm prepared to give it 3 cycles or so to see how things go and if BFN then look to move towards the more "serious" stuff- it'll also give me time to understand it all!

It's such a minefield. Why can't it be like they teach you at school - one 'mistake' and boom your pregnant!

@CLP86 hey! I was on the pill for a long time with only a short break during the time. I took my last pill at the end of October and had a withdrawal bleed the next day. I’m now waiting for my AF to arrive as I have no idea what my cycle looks like! I’m 31 so it sounds like we are in similar positions! Wish you all the luck with your journey xx

I'm also totally getting pre AF symptoms. Due Monday. Feeling really crampy which is just getting me down.

Welcome @CLP86 good luck on your first cycle!! What thermometer did you get? I told DH if it doesn’t work this time (1st cycle) we’re binning the CB digital stick and going rogue with no tracking but I’ve already got some OPKs sat in my basket waiting for AF to arrive 🤣

Aww no it’s proper shit isn’t it, it’s like working really hard on a project at school that you put all your time and effort into for them to tell you you’ve done it all wrong and to try again. Like whaaat we have to do alllll this over again?! Hope it’s not AF symptoms and your body is just wanting you to think that.

@beckyBP It's a long 14 days isn't it! 😂 It's all consuming and I now understand analysing every twinge and pain, when realistically at 4DPO it's in my mind! I'm quite an optimistic person, but need to be prepare myself for a possible long journey ahead

@meganlea 😂 dont even think about it.. just stay positive!
It so is!! It's just so hard to convince myself they aren't AF pains and tbh I wouldn't want to build myself up for them to just be pre AF pains. Someone people say they felt exactly like pre AF before their BFPs so 🤞🏽

@bluemagicalsky it really is! And so you know what, I learn more each cycle (from obsessively googling and reading threads). Nothing different happens until implantation anyway so a little too early for you. But you're right, you get so much more in tune with your body when TTC. Xx

@CLP86 I have on in my bedside table already but it’s only to point .1 is that all you need? If so I might try that next month!

@beckyBP anything new to report today? 9DPO and my backache has gone and I feel relatively normal today.

@meganlea nothing new here. Really light on and off cramps (very normal for me pre AF) Currently can't feel anything but coming in waves. I'm 11dpo today.

Glad your back ache has gone. It's so frustrating isn't it.. some people have no early symptoms have cramps.. it's so hard to know and not to over analyse xx

@beckyBP aw fingers crossed it all means something then we’ll be flicking back to these chats and analysing everything you ever did haha. Are you tempted to test or are you going to wait to see if AF actually comes xx

I think I'm going to wait.. personally, I find a bfn harder to take than AF (all totally personal preference). What about you? X

Yes I’m the same if it’s going to happen it’ll happen testing early won’t change anything we’ll find out eventually

@meganlea we do! We had 2 BFPs last month didn't we so defo due some this month.

Yeah I'm the same. I don't keep tests here because I would use them if there were 😂 I did at the beginning and it's just not good for me.

Going out with the girls for food tonight so that'll keep me busy! Xx
