As soon as AF disappears, which will be soon 🤞 me & my partner will be ttc :)
I've been keeping an eye on my cycles for a little while using the flo app & have been taking pregnacare.
Is there anything else we should know or do to help prepare ourselves? :)
Exited to go on this roller coaster of a journey & as no one knows of our plans would be lovely to hear off people ttc too :) xx

I feel I've turned a little crazy this month tho... last month I was chilled & like what will be will be & this month I currently have maternity clothes in my basket on boohoo because they have a sale on 😂
This ttc has sent me on a right roller coaster of emotions 😂😂

@rosiej95 haha that made me giggle! It’s such a rollercoaster, isn’t it?! It 100% sent me loopy the first month, I was obsessed. I think I might be getting steadily better now... What DPO are you now?

I’m okay thanks! I’m 11dpo today and expecting af tomorrow when she’s due - feeling very pre-af like. I feel weirdly okay with it though, which is weird! I think because I’ve been so sure this month I’m not preg, I’ve come to terms with it already.

@Amy259 haven't ovulated yet 😂😂 that's the joke of it. Keep telling myself I need to calm down 😂
My app tells me it's tomorrow I'm never convinced by the app so I'm going to try and dtd from now until the next week to try & cover all bases.
It's so strange isn't it being totally out of control. Hopefully she stays well away for you 🤞

@RLou3 I hope you can relax a little and enjoy it soon, so many people the very beginning is the worst because you don't feel or look pregnant so it's really hard to believe and not feel scared.

@rosiej95 I think our emotions are just totally irrational in their patterns, one week I feel totally obsessed the next I'm fine and calm. Get dtd!

@Amy259 How you feeling? I'm 8dpo no symptoms apart from one mildly sore boob haha pretty sure it's not this month for me and as you say as well I think I'm ok with that..probably because I'm sure it's not.

Hi Ladies, Can I join in with this thread?
I am approaching my fertile window on cycle 1 of ttc our first baby. So excited but also feel nervous about stepping into the unknown! I have been off my implant since Jan 2019 and using Natural Cycles to prevent pregnancy, so it is a bit scary suddenly deciding to try lol! Fingers crossed 🤞

@beckyBP I think when it gets to this point my impatience of not knowing yet takes over all other feelings, so when af comes I’m just relieved the waiting is over!

@maudesid I’ve got some af symptoms and some symptoms the same as when I had my chemical.. so I can’t reeeally call it yet but I felt much more pregnant when I had the chemical! By now I was nauseous, couldn’t drink coffee, weird cramps etc and I have none of that so I’m pretty sure I’m out.

AF this morning. It feels so rubbish. I also feel like we've been trying for ages, even tho this was only the third month

@rosiej95 Thank you! It definitely is a rollercoaster! I've started to get ahead of myself already, thinking about everything I might need etc if I get a BFP in November! Need to chill out and focus on enjoying the process lol

Hi there @Waiting2BeaMama! I use natural cycles too. I can't decide if I love it- sometimes I think it is the thing making me more anxious! I don't know if I'd just have a better time DTD without thinking as much as it makes me! Xx

@rosieb060 & @Waiting2BeaMama so I have both natural cycles and the premom app, which I use with the recommended OPKs, and I’ve just cancelled by NC subscription because consistently since June it’s got my ov date wrong. I bbt as well so I can definitely pinpoint o day with that and the strips. Just a heads up if you’re not checking ov another way! I got preg last cycle (but sadly didn’t last) but I’m pretty sure I’d have missed it if I listen to natural cycles.
I guess that’s why docs say just try to dtd every other day to cover all bases.

@Amy259 thank you so so much, that's really helpful! I think natural cycles is getting me wrong too- I can feel myself ovulating & have CM that suggests that too, and natural cycles consistently tells me it's two days later....

@rosieb060 which would be fine if you were trying to prevent because your red days would cover ov plus two days that it’s getting wrong, but you pretty much have no chance if you dtd after ov! It’s aaaall about the day or two before, which I found NC always missed because like you it predicted o as later. It also kept predicting my af early and wouldn’t save if I adjusted it so I gave up 😂

@Amy259 yeah! I think I'm just going to go back to trying to DTD every other day and see where that gets us.

@rosieb060 yeh I can imagine Natural Cycles making the process so much more anxious as I keep checking my dates for everything constantly. I sometimes use Flo as well, but the ov dates they give me are always so different. Going to try using ovulation tests as well to hopefully pinpoint a bit better 🤷‍♀️

@Amy259 what dpo are you now? I know you're just ahead of me how are you doing?

I use natural cycles and this month seems to be ok but last month it suddenly moved my Ov date when AF arrived to 5 days later even though opk's had shown up earlier..quite frustrating as I think it was wrong
