I'm CD11, waiting for something (anything) to happen this month 😂. Only taking my Inofolic Alpha this cycle and nothing else.

Hope I've tagged everyone xx

I think I see some more progression there?

@Northernsoul90 I've just taken a test and it is negative 💔 that's painful.

it wasn't technically FMU because I woke up at like 4am and went then so I'll test again tomorrow just to be sure it's completely negative.

I'll probably give it a week before I start using the OPKs too although should I be judging the MC bleed like it's an AF and working off that with my normal cycles and typical ovulation timeframe until I know what my post MC cycles are like?

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 07:24

@Pugprincess definitely progression! ♥️

Tink20058 · 09/08/2020 07:29

@Pugprincess congratulations definitely progressing so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️ Xx

Tink20058 · 09/08/2020 07:32

@Bl0ndi3 hi I counted my first day of mc as cd1 and started using clear blue ovulation test the week after took 11 days to get my peak but worked I got caught first cycle xx

Pugprincess · 09/08/2020 07:36

@Bl0ndi3 thank you. For yourself I counted first day of proper mc red blood as day 1, (I had a week or so of brown first), my usual ovulation was 14-16 days in but this time it was around 18 so not much in it. I know the negative test is painful but try to see that your bodies sorting itself out quickly so that you can get ovulating ASAP. If I were you and this is what I did, I would test with cheap opk each day then once I start getting any kind of line I switch to cb digital. Obvs watch cm too. Do you ever get ovulation pains? I didn’t every month before but I did after mc so I felt like my body was really letting me know. What cycle day would you be on now if you do count red blood as cd1? X

Thank you @Tink20058 also. Once these hopefully start matching up with the control line I’m thinking of trying a stronger test like cb digital?

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 08:00

@Pugprincess I started bleeding on tuesday and it was fairly immediately brown and then red and then bright red that day so if I use Tuesday as CD1 I'm CD6 today. I have ever so slight spotting last couple days but then I'll have a cramp and a tiny bit more blood on the pad so I think my body is just clearing out the final bits. I think they say don't have sex until bleeding stops to prevent infection?

I've ordered some one step OPKs they should come early this week.

Last cycle when I conceived I used for the first time and got peak on a CB digital on CD17 so I'll start using the cheapie OPKs as soon as they arrive. That's a good idea with the digi I had planned on not bothering with it this "cycle" as I didn't wanna waste it testing for ages but I can use the cheapies to guide me. I don't really get any signs of ovulation normally and I didn't even monitor CM last cycle because we DTD a lot around ovulation so wasn't able to check it haha! it went from low straight to peak so we just DTD that day and the next day and caught that month so I'll aim for similar but it's hard cause OH doesn't know I use OPKs I just have to encourage sex at right times lol.

How long since your MC has it been now you've got your BFP again? ♥️ honestly I thought I'd hate seeing people get BFPs but in this group it actually fills me with hope and I feel genuinely happy for everybody who has them because I know how it must feel ♥️

Sorry long post lol

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 08:01

@Tink20058 wow congratulations, that's so amazing - I can only hope I'm that lucky 🤞🏻

Pugprincess · 09/08/2020 08:10

@Bl0ndi3 I’ve also caught straight after my mc. My mc started 9th July so by my calculations I think I’m technically 4+2 today if docs will use that as my cd1. If not I know when I ovulated and I’m 14dpo today so defo 4 weeks today by a 28 day cycle. I won’t worry cause they can date at a scan if I get that far. I honestly worried I wouldn’t get preg again as it took us 5 years before the first one. A few nights ago I was in a right state crying myself to sleep and all sorts so it just goes to show how quickly things can change. Yes I didn’t dtd until everything was back to clear/white discharge. My mc bleeding went on for about 8 days but that’s not counting all those brown days. The hospital scanned me and told me I had ‘passed the worst of it’ and I had a complete mc. I’m not sure about that now because when I went home I had worse pain days later and I passed a sac and placenta so I don’t see how that was complete myself, surprised they didn’t see on scan. Your plan for this cycle sounds great to me 🙂 we dtd a lot, probably I thought too much, like morning and night around ovulation lol. I just wanted to make sure there was loads up there lol but then I worried I was weakening his stuff x

fafi · 09/08/2020 08:11

@pugprincess don't waste your money on a CB digital - you're pregnant and that's all you need to know!

When I got my BFP I tested every 2 days with my Fermometer HCG tests and when I got to 6 weeks I now test weekly - but only because I've got loads of tests left after buying a box of 25 before we got pregnant! Otherwise I wouldn't have tested so much.x

Pugprincess · 09/08/2020 08:14

@fafi thanks hubby will be pleased he said he doesn’t want to waste another £40 odd quid on tests lol. Our boilers just packed up so that’s another expense now lol. Normally I would freak out but I think my mc has taught not to care about things so much x

Hayley19835 · 09/08/2020 08:23

Morning all hope everyone is coping with this heat! So much to catch up on will try and do a proper read through later!
Congratulations @Pugprincess that progression looks good!

I've been testing away with my CB and this morning I got my 😀 it's CD11. Never been so happy to see a smiley face! First cycle using them so hoping that they help us out I think our timing has been all wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 08:25

@Pugprincess I'm so so glad you've caught so quickly after it taking you 5 years the first time wow. Everything crossed that this is a super sticky bean for you ♥️🤞🏻 the doc told me to take aspirin soon as I get another positive test as it can help prevent miscarriage or something?

I passed a really bizarre piece of tissue in a urine sample I gave at hospital on Tuesday a few hours after my bleeding first started. it honestly looked like a red and pink fabric square but the nurse said it wasn't pregnancy tissue 🤷🏼‍♀️ I took a video of it to show OH because it was honestly so weird!!!

My scan on Friday they said there wasn't anything there anymore and I'd passed everything which tbh by the amount of clots and that weird tissue stuff i had from Tuesday til Friday I was not surprised by that. It's such a devastating experience not only emotionally but physically with the bleeding, cramps, clots, tissue, loss or symptoms which I found really difficult, even down to having to take a test and get a negative I mean there's something really sick and cruel about that and I felt it this morning getting that negative result.

I'll give it a couple days and might ease back into DTD just for fun until I start OPKing and to freshen up OHs swimmers 😂😂 we last DTD the night before my MC I won't blame that for it because I know it wasn't the cause but I reckon I might be a little anxious DTD when early pregnant again.... sorry OH! I still feel so heartbroken that it feels wrong to even think about having sex again to try and make a baby I hope that passes soon

Tink20058 · 09/08/2020 08:27

@Bl0ndi3 I miscarried on 6th April and got my bfp on 4th May ☘️🌈 I’m 18 weeks on Wednesday xx

scrambledeggy · 09/08/2020 08:34

Had such a fun day yesterday, but got back and was too knackered to do much of anything, sorry for disappearing. Was out all day driving to picnic spot and then picnicking, also left my phone at home, oops...

@Lollol86 I'm 9dpo at the mo, so will be 14dpo when I test...if AF doesn't get there first! I'm holding off because I don't want to be disappointed, and I know my cycle is still sort of off.

@Wishingfornumber2 do you use OPKs? I get really anxious about ovulation, and they have been really helpful this cycle at working out where the heck I even am!

@Bl0ndi3 Welcome, so sorry for your loss Flowers I also had an early miscarriage on my first pregancy last month. I echo what others have said about waiting for the bleeding to stop and waiting for your test to turn negative. I found myself probably ovulating (peak OPK, BBT up) just a few weeks after, and am now waiting until Thursday to test. This is despite me usually having quite chaotic cycles, so it was so reassuring to know that your body can bounce back in its own time.

@Lemondropsandgumdrops that sounds like quite an ordeal, I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Whatever happens, my advice is to listen to this lot, being on this thread for a few weeks has me feeling really empowered whereas before I felt a bit lost.

Courage and luck to all those testing in this coming week! I have a busy one coming up, but I can feel that FRER in my drawer calling me already Grin @Tink20058 I can only hope we're as lucky as you, what a lovely story! Wishing you the best for your pregnancy Smile

@Pugprincess such a dreamy progression, have you got yourself booked in for anything at the GP/hospital yet?

Pugprincess · 09/08/2020 08:35

@Bl0ndi3 Yh if it makes you feel any better I feel the same way about dtd now. But to be crude I don’t think we can last that long without it 😂 the extra blood flow down there makes it amazing I found lol. But at the same time I daren’t. I will have to see how things go and last as long as we can. Also after we first dtd after MC I cried so defo emotional. It got easier though in that direction.
I’m going to ring my doctors tomorrow for a phone app and ask their thoughts on if I can take aspirin. I’m using progesterone cream and the supplements/Pom juice I mentioned before. X

Pugprincess · 09/08/2020 08:37

@scrambledeggy no I will call gp tomorrow because they said before next time you get pregnant ring us and we will refer to back to epau. And I will ask about this aspirin x

2020wish · 09/08/2020 08:38

@Pugprincess omg yes!!! Progression!! Congratulations! So happy for u xx

@Bl0ndi3 I started trying straight after my mc without waiting for AF and I caught again, unfortunately that ended in a chemical and then nothing the next month. But caught again on the 3rd month and now nearly 7 weeks and seen a strong heart beat last week at my 6 week scan . I also took aspirin this time around, I took it on my own accord and just made me doctor aware and then during my scan the midwife advised me to start taking it straight away. Fingers crossed it works for u x

2020wish · 09/08/2020 08:39

Feel like I have hit my final milestone! Yesterday was the day I had my furtherest along loss. Feeling officially over that feels good

HopeForRainbowbaby · 09/08/2020 08:51

@2020wish @Pugprincess congratulations on your milestones dears😘

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 09:06

@Tink20058 18 weeks - amazing and thank you that gives me such hope and makes me feel a little better ♥️

@scrambledeggy thanks lovely sorry for your loss too ♥️ I'll start OPKing this week just need a few more days to get my head straight I think and then I need to get my head in the TTC game again. Urgh.

@Pugprincess OMG yes it was extra amazing the two times we DTD when I was pregnant so I definitely agree with you on that must be a thing! 😂

Bl0ndi3 · 09/08/2020 09:08

@2020wish thanks lovely that chemical must've been tough straight after your MC ♥️ amazing that everything is going well this time for you xxx

MichT4 · 09/08/2020 09:13

@Bl0ndi3 @Lemondropsandgumdrops sorry for your losses, it's really tough to go through. This group is amazing and I think you'll find lots of comfort. It definitely helps to get through such a hard time.

@Pugprincess great progression! So pleased for you lovely.

@scrambledeggy glad you had a lovely day yesterday. Another hot one to enjoy today!

@Tink20058 how are you doing?

Hope everyone is ok? And has lovely days planned? xx

Wishingfornumber2 · 09/08/2020 09:34

@scrambledeggy no didn’t use opks this cycle as went for the completely laid back approach but it still has me wondering about things lol! I used cb digital last cycle and didn’t get a peak ( I have had a peak when using it before) and so that was stressing me out waiting for the peak that didn’t come and I then ran out of test sticks. So thought wouldn’t use them this cycle but I think I will again next time just so I know where I am.

It’s so tempting to test isn’t it but hang in there and fingers crossed you will be rewarded with a bfp! X

VP91x · 09/08/2020 09:35
