@Katao yeah I know, I'm like that, I'd worry so so much, especially because of the symptoms I've had, and tonight I've had strange but mild pain low down in my stomach like middle but more to the right that I don't think I usually have! I think I might test on the Saturday morning, surely an frer will pick something up even if it's vvv faint??

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah I definitely think that's what I'm going to do! If I get bfn I'll feel so much better after a few drinks and hopefully feel better for the next cycle!

@Vil10 he literally waits until he's finished on his game or however long he wants to play for and then comes onto me and I can't be like no thanks after because he just wouldn't try again for days I have to go along with it. On my testing day I'm away to a holiday cottage with some friends, the temptation to test early is high (or else I sit for the weekend, waiting for AF and wonder if I could sneak a test 😂). Bad timing!

I would be 15 days DPO by then @notyetamumbuttrying. Using the natural cycles app so it says I should expect AF on Tuesday but shouldn't test until the Friday. Eek. Stocked up on tampons just in case we have another guest in the cottage with us!

@Tofu35 test the day before! If that's a BFN you won't realistically be getting a BFP after 14DPO.

Oh god @notyetamumbuttrying that's so frustrating. I feel ya. I've got friends who told me very sensitively...then proceeded TO GO ON ABOUT BEING PREGNANT & how wonderful it was for months on end. That's not sensitive btw ladies!! 😂🤣

@Tofu35 I think it depends on IF you want to know before?

@Vil10 how guilty would you feel drinking not knowing?! Or how difficult to not be drinking there? That's what you need to ask yourself. I am fine with knowing that IMO it doesn't harm a pregnancy that early. But if you feel wracked with guilt then that's not you.

Good point @Minster2012. I had a friend a while back that was a few weeks pregnant and went on a girls weekend, they clocked her drinking soft drinks and badgered her for the weekend on whether or not she was pregnant. Maybe it's best not to know!

Excited for all the testers at the weekend, does anyone else do the weird thing where you sort of get particularly invested in certain others on here who are slightly ahead of you and tell yourself that if they get their BFP then you will too? Or am I just a mad superstitious weirdo? 😂 Don't feel I explained it well so hopefully someone else will know what I mean.

Loved the bra chat. As a teenager I remember being told that if you wore a bigger cup size you would 'grow into it'😂😂😂 so needless to say I spent most of my early teens wearing gapey cups in the hope my boobs would grow to fill it. Incase anyone is considering it-don't bother-it doesn't work 🤦🏻‍♀️

@SmileyT I had a full on waxing twice when I was pregnant (although later on in the pregnancy like 28 and 34 weeks) and the first time I got quite hot and dizzy so I'd recommend taking a bottle of cold water to sip as regular intervals as your hormones are different to what you're normally used to.

@Vil10 i have a weird pain too today. Almost feels like a stitch or like ovulation pain (although lower and more in than where I feel ovulation pain normally). I've had it on and off since this afternoon. And obviously because I'm totally relaxed and chilled about TTC this month I haven't spent ages googling "9dpo stitch like pain" or anything 😂😂😂

I'm not even sure I am 9dpo, all I know is AF is due Wed 5th. Plus even if I did ovulate when I think I did, we only DTD on CD11 and then not again until CD19 thanks to spending FW in a shared caravan 😂😂

I have got the fancy clear blue ovulation kit with the flashing smily faces ready for next month as I know this month is very unlikely to be our month so looking forward to using that.

I'm going to attempt to take a break from MN for my mental health as I'm avoiding all things pregnancy related - I'm constantly worried about my symptoms disappearing (all gone now and skin seems to be going back to normal as well) and I have a major inkling that things wont be looking up for me this time round either ☹️ hoping to pop back on here with good news at some point but doubtful! Will probs jump back on the bus if/when ttc again x

Hi ladies, can I join? Ttc number 2, DD 9 months and still BF... I'm 9 DPO I think, cycle 2. I just RTFT and interestinggggg about the progesterone and spots... I'm really spotty atm which is super unusual for me (symptom potting like mad over here).

Last pregnancies (DD and first pregnancy an early mc) I had super sore boobs, but did anyway in the lead up to AF. But since BFeeding I haven't had sore boobs at all?! So that's one symptom I can't over-analyse

@Vil10 not sure if you remember a couple of months ago I was in a similar position as you - had my bday party on a Saturday night and was about 12DPO. I decided to not test and drink that night, preceded to get BLIND (and had a bloody great night), to the point I was not well the next day when I had planned to test (reminder - spewed in the Uber eats bag 🤢).
AF showed the Sunday night, which I felt relieved at in a way after how much I drank! If I had my time again I would've done same but had less to drink (ie still not tested sat morning and had a good night being naively optimistic that it could be a BFP, rather than depressed during my party because of it being BFN).
Difference with your situation is 10DPO there's no certainty even with a frer!!
Lots of different thoughts on this though and you can only do what's right/comfortable for you! 💗

@lucyrp agreed FW is not a time for hard to get! If he's playing his games I think you need to get those sexy knickers on and go sit on his face.
