@Ltay2 I hard stark white on frer at 11dpo. Have one left so not sure whether to wait until 13 or 14 DPO for it. Didn’t expect it to make me feel so dejected but it has! Silly really.

@SmileyT I'm on the fence about testing Saturday, I want to so I know but if it's negative I'll be gutted😂 but surely I'd get a faint line if it was positive at 10dpo! I thought it was around then, I thought it was between days 6-9, OH is getting a bit giddy I think, but I'm trying not too! When I click on my 3 month it isn't giving me data, it's been messing up with syncing so I'll try restart it and see what happens!x

@vil10 I'm a drink now cause when bfp arrives you will be off it long enough 😂😂 unknowingly on my 2 pregnancies, a wk or so b4 finding out I'd had a mad 1m it was like my body telling me to. We weren't actively ttc or monitoring as such so wasnt counting dpo etc and my 2 babies turned out perfect.

So much going on I cant remember who to tag pmsl.
What opks are best. I'd ic and they were crap. 1 pack were very very faint same line on each, then pound shop 1s I got positive on 1 of them, rest were stark white. So I'd rather buy good ones. Only because I'm nearing 40 and dont even know if I ovulated. Very soon after my predicted ov last cycle my boobs ached alot and that hasnt started yet. Strange as they we never that sensitive for so long b4.

Heading out with friends sun night (they serve pizza there) 😂😂 theres a good chance shots may happen 🙈

If I was to get a Bfp this time I'd be avoiding my 40th and people would be wondering as they know me so well. I'd have to do something and put water in my vodka bottle 😂
If I get a BFN then part on, I'll not be testing until after it but it would be just in time to surprise DH for his birthday which is 3wks after mine

Same @Vil10 I've got a thermometer coming today so that I can get started with it all. I'll prob forget most mornings rendering it pointless but it's the only thing left that I'm not doing.

@Newbie0818 @Vil10 yeah it does - that's why the day 21 tests are meant to be taken 7DPOish!

Ok all this progesterone talk has made me realise I have zero symptoms, not pms or pregnancy related 🤔 at supposedly 8dpo. Aagh! I just have no confidence that I actually ovulated, that weird cycle last month has made me second guess everything this cycle.

Ladies, clear blue opk. Am I right in thinking these I would only need to test every other day? And not 3 times a day like ic ones.

@katao all I've got is spots, and maybe bloat? I'm sure you're fine, some of us are probably more sensitive than others! Eg I never get any pre-AF symptoms at all but my hormones seem to indicate it's all normal.

@Juno231 I usually get shitty enough pms, low mood, nausea, vomiting and apparently I can be a little irritable 🙈. We'll see 🤷‍♀️ might hit yet.
@2alreadywantanother ya I'm questioning everything this time! Once aday for those tests. I wouldn't be confident every other day would be enough to catch your peak.
@Franklydear I have baked bread without a recipe, its the only thing I find forgiving of my no weighing, chuck whatever you have in attitude 😂

@katao and @juno231 so it would be once a day. Get ur peak means in next 4 days so stop testing. So dtd flat out then lol

@2alreadywantanother it's purely a money thing for me - my box of OPKs cost less than £10 and last me 3 months 🤷‍♀️

@2alreadywantanother can you let us know how you get on with those clear blue OPK sticks please? I never got a peak reading on the IC OPKs, they only reached about 70-80% each month according to the femometer app readings so when I'm feeling ready to get back to OPKs I think I'll use something reliable to see what's going on.

Oo @vil10 if you go to Girlaboutwestyorkshire on insta she did a review of that festival last week and is running a comp for people to win tickets.

@Vil10 I always use a FRER when there's a big night of drinking on the cards, even when I'm only around 10 DPO. It really takes away any guilt for drinking when you know there wasn't a line that day and you can enjoy the drinking more... although the down side is you will be seeing a BFN possibly which can also impact how you feel! If you don't test, you can just go easy and drink slower with some water or soft drinks in between.

Will definitely invest in them next month. No point wasting money on the ic every month if I'm not even ovulating.

@2alreadywantanother I haven't used the 2 day one just the 4 day one. It tells you what day to start testing based on your normal cycle length. You test once a day with fmu. It checks 2 hormones, estrogen and LH if I remember rightly. Estrogen will start to rise before your LH surge so it picks this up first and gives you flashing smiles for a couple of days usually and then once it detects the LH surge it gives you a static smile and you can't test again that cycle. The other test I believe only tests for LH so wont give you as much notice of ovulation. So I suppose it depends on how much notice you want really? Otherwise I yhink they pretty much work the same way and mean you don't have to be interpreting lines.

@Katao thank u. I just want to see if I am ovulating so thing it's best to pay for good 1s rather than waste money on ic and not knowing for sure.

@2alreadywantanother well I think either would do so but from what I hear on this thread opks only detect the surge and you can have a surge and not ovulate so would need to temp to actually confirm ovulation. I had two positive opks last cycle cd15 and cd19 and dont think either led to actually ovulating as it was a 42day cycle. I possibly ovulated later after i stopped testing 🤷‍♀️

Ladies how do you know you ovulated? @Juno231 you seem to know about temps etc! If my opks said I had peak days and my bbt seems to have confirmed it with a steep rise after those peak days would you say it’s pretty safe to assume I ovulated?
