@mouldygrapes apparently there’s a way to tell (not that I’ve googled it before or anything). If it’s ewcm then it won’t soak into the toilet paper. But if it’s sperm it disappears after so many seconds. You’d maybe need to google it 😂

Hmmm doesn't look like I've ovulated this month 😩😢 am cd19, got peak opk on CD 14 and 16 but my temps haven't risen

@LT103 thanks - this didn’t sink into the paper so I’m guessing it was EWCM.

@claireb707 my temps have been pretty erratic and also no rise but have had high LH readings and mucus and ovulation pain

Hi guys can i ask what your temps are generally after ovulation? Mine have been 97.91 f and I'm 5dpo 🙂 not sure if that's where they should be or not? Lol xx I'm trying again after an mc and 2 cps xx

I also have a query about LH surges and temp!

I’m always unsure of what it means when an OPK shows the test line, but not dark enough to be ‘positive’. Does this mean LH is present, but simply not high enough to be a peak?

I had a definite positive OPK on day 14 (very dark test line). Today is day 17 and I got the test line below (not as dark as the control line).

But see also my temp chart on two different apps. Looks like ovulation probably has occurred already, either day 15 or 16?

What do you think?

@CC81 keep checking both. I would guess you ovulated day 16 so you will need a couple more high temps before it gives you a cover line. My opk will be high then peak (sometimes for more than one day) then move to high again before disappearing so might just be the levels tailing off. Hopefully you will know more in next couple of days

Not at all ... post pictures, everyone’s here is so nice and we all in same boat.. in case u want u can pm me ... but I have heard that ewcm can also occur few days before ovulation and this could be a sign that u will ovulate soon ... I had the same situation one month ... I had lots of ewcm but on OPK it was only showing fertile and 2 days after I got my +ve opk

@CC81: could be that you ovulated on cd15/16 or may be it’s on it’s way ... but u still have chance till 2dpo 😉

Hey ladies ... I am on cd6 ... I usually bleed 🩸 till cd4 and then very light spotting on cd5 ... but today I noticed I had very dark brown clots 🙄 ... I am on taking Clomid ... should I be worried 😟

Nausea and cramping...cue AF and bang on 28 days as expected! Not many “tries” this month so not surprised and determined not to be down about it. It’s only been 3 months of trying and I’m only 37! Spent today on the beach with my boys so going to focus on that (and guzzle chocolate) 😊 hopefully more BFPs to come on here soon.

Thanks @LT103 and @Maddie020 - I will keep recording and see how it goes. I just find the varying LH lines confusing!

Last month I got a cover line and it seems I ovulated around CD17, so this month seems slightly more 'on target'.

We've DTD the last three nights (since positive OPK)... might do again tonight just to be sure!

Got my private fertility tests next week (AMH and internal ultrasound). Then need to re-do the FSH test for GP. Scared! Would almost rather not know the latter (I've currently got faint hope that the last one was an anomaly)...

PS - Will keep doing OPKs until AF arrived, just in case of a second surge.

Gosh it’s all so confusing isn’t it. I’m going with my symptoms rather than the opks or temps this month. I know I’m crap at doing temps anyways so not sure how reliable they are and I think not worth the stress.
Forgot to say my 1st acupuncture session was great, found it really relaxing. Some of the points were a little painful . She was doing things to stimulate ovulation and I had really strong pains in the evening after the session. Could be coincidence as I do get strong pains sometimes (or I did when I had my coil in; assumed it was that). Think I will stick with it, even if it just helps with relaxation it’s worth it

My phone is being weird and won’t let me tag you Maddie - sorry, not sure re clomid and whether it could be affecting your bleeding. Hope it settles soon.

AF due today but not arrived. I was having some bright red bleeds a week ago for 2 days when I wiped and nothing for the past 4 days, just odd bits of brown staining. Got cramps like AF is on her way, think she may be here tomorrow.

Can I join? 😊. Decided to start trying for our second this cycle (will have just turned 35). I’m a natural worrier so a bit nervous about being a bit older, especially with all the doom and gloom about being over 35 which I should ignore really. Got pregnant easily with our DD (who is now 2.5. Husband is a lot more relaxed about it all, thinks it will happen really easily again ha. I used to get ovulation pain which was painful but actually quite useful as it made the timing easier 😂. But since my periods came back I don’t get it every month which has made me worry I m not ovulating each month. Although I distinctly remember last time worrying the pain meant something was wrong so as I said I always find something to worry about. 😃 We’re sure I want another but also sometimes think what are we doing?!? 😂😂. Predicting fertile window will be around 20th September.

5 DPO here. I have a very achy cervix which I normally get just before AF. Never get it at this point on my cycle so not sure what that means. Desperate not to test early. When do you guys normally hold out til?

@ShouldEyeShouldntEye I'd wait if I was you. BFNs (which it's likely to be at 5dpo) just seem to bring me down and I'd rather try and live in hope for as long as possible!

I'd try and wait until at least 10dpo 🙂

I'm getting cautiously excited- my period was due yesterday/today but nothing yet and I don't have any PMS symptoms. My usual tell is very sore boobs 2 days before my period starts but I keep having a sneaky grope and they don't hurt at all!
