I've woken up feeling rough, like I've got a massive hangover but barely drank last night (had one can of cherry hard seltzer (around 4%))

Temp dropped only very slightly, heart rate and breathing rate still going up.

Managed to get another 45 mins sleep after waking up initially at 6

But still feel bleugh and very hangover like, including the nausea.

14dpo but glaringly bfns on frer and ic

Hi @FridaKFangirl - that's really positive that you and your DH had a good chat about things. In makes such a difference to feel supported.

I'm 99.9% sure I'm totally out this month. Had much more 'period-y' cramps this morning and just been to the bathroom and there's some pinky stuff on the paper, so pretty sure AF will be with me this afternoon. I've been feeling quite sad. DP has been lovely though - he was really upset too. I think we both thought this was the month as my AF has never been this late, and we've not really had a stressful month at all.

mouldygrapes · 09/08/2020 11:38

@claireb707 - could it be dehydration? I feel hungover today but didn’t drink alcohol yesterday. I was at work tho and know I didn’t drink enough fluids in the day so I’m putting mine down to dehydration.
Sorry you’re feeling rough.

Trying not to symptom spot here. I woke up at 3.30 needing a pee which is unusual but also the neighbours were being EXTREMELY noisy (yes at 3.30am 😡) so could have been that. Was busting again at 9am but think that could be cos I drank more in the evening to make up for not having much water in the day

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough @claireb707 Hopefully you'll feel better as the day goes on.

Not sure, I drink about 4litres most days, I did go out on my bike yesterday morning but had 1.5l with electrolytes in with me which I drank.

mouldygrapes · 09/08/2020 13:32

@claireb707 gosh 4 litres! You put me to shame!
Hope you feel a bit better later

Rumi1 · 09/08/2020 15:27

Afternoon Ladies,

Well I'm out this month Sad

AF Arrived with a vengeance and I've never felt so let down

So I've made the conscience decision to stop trying as its making me mentally ill with worry that something is wrong

I'll still pop and in and out of the group - *I wanted to wish you ladies well and I'm routing for your BFP's
*
The next few months I'm going to enjoy the children that we have , take a holiday , a break from work and just breathe

I haven't really enjoyed the house we bought a few months ago - it's time to get the kitchen with island and Mercedes Benz I promised myself

Good luck ladies , stay positive and enjoy your Sunday xxx

FridaKFangirl · 09/08/2020 18:20

Hey @Rumi1! Sorry to hear about AF.

Sounds like you are making a good decision to prioritise your well-being.

Enjoy your house and take care of you! x

Highlandmama · 09/08/2020 18:22

Just catching up. @Rumi1 Im so sorry to read this. I have been there! It’s so tough. I hope you enjoy your time out and holiday/new house/car and break from work. Sometimes time out is exactly what you need. x

Highlandmama · 09/08/2020 18:29

Hi ladies. Hope you are enjoying the sun! So now we have AF over and done with its back to trying again! Despite all our problems conceiving DS, I have never used the ovulation strips. My periods were wildly irregular before I had him, and I travelled a lot with work, And was a bit of a wreck at times if I’m honest. It didn’t seem like a good plan. So now cycles are 28 days, virtually to the hour!! So that’s changed things. Also I’m now working from home indefinitely. So I thought...that’s us 2 months into trying, why not get some? So tips...what day should I start, what time of day? Today is day...10?? Thanks 😊

Hayley19835 · 09/08/2020 18:33

@Rumi1 sorry to hear AF arrived. Take good care of yourself 🤍
@Highlandmama I'm using CB advanced ones, you use with first morning urine, pretty straight forward to use and easy to read. They tell you what day to start testing for your length of cycle xx

Keepeas · 09/08/2020 19:34

I use a mix of cb advanced fertility and cheap straps to try and reduce costs.
I test FMU from day 7 with cb until I get a flashing smiley face, then switch to cheap strips morning and evening till it looks positive, and switch back to cb to confirm peak with the static smiley face. I like the confirmation with cb and knowing that my oestrogen is rising to encourage dtd, buy my OH now appreciates its not going to happen quickly, so we basically dtd every other day now from day 8 to day 20ish, with an extra one around peak, so its probably a waste of money and I should just use the cheap ones 🤦‍♀️
My cycles have gone from regular 27-28, to between 22-34 days. Im assuming some very very early miscarriages in there are causing the mayhem with my hormones 🙄

Highlandmama · 09/08/2020 22:03

Thanks @Keepeas and @Hayley19835 will need to investigate cb ones. I’ve bought the cheapie boots ones! I’ve checked and it says start day 12 but might start tomorrow at day 11 anyway as I’m impatient (shock!) 😊

LT103 · 09/08/2020 22:33

@Highlandmama I use the Femometer ones and put the pics in the app and it interprets for you. They’re super cheap and I’ve never had a problem with interpreting them. Mine go from low to one day of high then peak. But I’ve seen tiger people struggle with them

LT103 · 09/08/2020 22:34

Other people that should say 🤷🏻‍♀️

Keepeas · 09/08/2020 22:40

The femometer ones sound good. I'm not sure the cb ones are worth the cost, unless you can only dtd once or twice during fw...i have one more box of them left, might try femometer next/if necessary 🤞🤞

Oh @claireb707, I’m so sorry. Sending gentle hugs your way. Can you take it easy today? 💐
Hayleywoody82 · 10/08/2020 10:48

@claireb707 so sorry hun. Hugs to you.
Take a few days then positive vibes for next cycle xx

Hayleywoody82 · 10/08/2020 10:50

Im on my 2ww now. 4 dpo . Whose with me Smile
Im not feeling optimistic this cycle but will see xx

claireb707 · 10/08/2020 10:56

Thanks lovelies

Taken today off so at least I don't have to concentrate

Just wondering how many more times we can do this, hopefully partners SA results will give us more of an idea where to go next. Although he is wondering if we should keep trying much longer due to our age. He doesn't want to be an 'old' parent and he mentioned adoption last night. Not sure I have that in me though. Really am now cursing my ex and wishing I'd divorced him earlier so I could have met partner earlier (although I know it might not have happened at all if it had been earlier). Isn't life just shit sometimes 😢😢

mouldygrapes · 10/08/2020 11:51

@claireb707 so very sorry. Take it easy today and be kind to yourself. Life really is shit sometimes.

@Hayleywoody82 I’m in 2ww too, 8dpo. Not terribly hopeful for this cycle, still getting the hang of my cycles and also cocked up the temping.
Have started day 1 of my leave in tears at people being massively insensitive about our postponed wedding (trying to make about them rather than us). Wish we’d bloody eloped years ago

Parsleyrose · 10/08/2020 11:59

I’m so sorry to hear that @claireb707 ☹️

Take care and be kind to yourself - sending virtual hugs x

Hayleywoody82 · 10/08/2020 12:11

@mouldygrapes im still up the wall with my cycles to. Im on cycle 3 after stopping my pill 6th june.
No cycle has been the same yet. Its frustrating .
