9dpo faint positive on IC

Hey, guys! It’s 9dpo for me today, and I took an IC this morning (easy@home) and it came up with a faint shadow of a line. I did one again just now and the same result. I took a FRER but that was negative, but the ICs definitely had a second line that showed up pretty quickly. I’ll attach the pictures, even though it’s very difficult to see in the pictures. In real, the shadow of a line is obvious. The bottom two tests in the picture are from today btw.
As for symptoms, I haven’t really had any. Slight twinges in my left side yesterday and I know I ovulated from that side. I’ve had diarrhoea (sorry, TMI) for the past few days and am bloated but I’m always bloated before my period. My period isn’t due for another 3-4 days yet.
I had a miscarriage at 5+4 last year, and a chemical pregnancy at the start of last month. I’ve had a period after that, and all seems to be normal.
Can you guys see anything in the pictures? The pictures are so bad, but I swear there’s a second line, although it’s very faint.

@BPT2019 yes, it’s my first. I’m excited, but I’m more scared haha! There’s definitely a line on your test sweetie, I can clearly see something! :)

@dreamerkr I’ve had some brown spitting today the same as I did with my other miscarriages

@Teapotdespot maybe it’s implantation bleeding? I had the tiniest bit of brown mixed into my cm when I wipe. I have no idea what’s going on. And my test looks a little lighter today, which makes me terrified. I feel like the same thing that happened less than two months ago is happening again... I feel like it’s another chemical pregnancy. My symptoms are still here though, my right boob isn’t as sensitive today, but the left one hurts so badly and is super sore. I don’t know anything right now

I’ve called 111, I learned last time I went through this not to wait around because you end up torturing yourself. That’s what mine is like, brown streaks mixed with EWCM when I wipe

@Teapotdespot that does sound like implantation spotting but it’s best to call 111. Let me know what they say x

Will do, just toons cb digi, it’s saying 2-3 weeks which means my HCG has to be above 153.

Today’s test is quite a bit lighter than the day before yesterday’s. Definitely looks like another chemical. This sucks 😭

Those tests though potentially aren’t sensitive enough to determine HCG levels appropriately to tell whether your HCG is dropping or not, ironed dilution plays a massive role. Do you have any other symptoms?

@dreamerkr also, 111 called me back and effectively said to go to a and e if my temperature gets any higher, Or the pain in my side gets worse. She said there’s absolutely nothing either they or I could do to prevent a miscarriage if that’s what’s happening, but that the pain in my side could signify ectopic so that’s the reason I’d need to go get checked if it got worse or more constant.

She did reassure me though that I haven’t bled a lot, the blood is brown and therefore old and not an active bleed and that I’m not having period type cramps which are all good signs.

Overnight I haven’t bled more, but I’m not optimistic

@Teapotdespot my symptoms are fading too. My boobs aren’t really sore anymore and I’m not bloated anymore either. I took another test using FMU and it’s very faint. Have you tried taking a FRER or a line test? x

I think you should test this morning using a line test and see how strong the line is, but I’m glad you haven’t bled more yet. What about your symptoms? Do you still have them? I feel like AF is gonna come soon.

Just read through what's been happening and I'm so sorry your both going through this.
When I was pregnant with my little one I had bleeding and cramps which lasted weeks, I had blood tests and scans and baby was okay and they couldn't find a reason for it. I kept taking tests and they kept getting darker and darker even through the bleeding and that gave me some reassurance (pre tests and scans).
I really hope you are both okay x

@BPT2019 thank you, I’m actually okay.. more okay than I expected to be. I hope you’re well? Did you get your BFP?
I haven’t started bleeding yet, but my tests have the faintest line now which will probably be gone by tonight. I was kind of expecting it, because I felt my symptoms fade. I’m thinking of starting to take baby aspirin the next time I get my BFP. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and it’s worked for so many people. I just want to get this over and done with now.

I'm really sorry to hear that 😕 Are you taking a test each day to double check what's happening?
No BFP for me, had a faint line yesterday and an even fainter one today. No AF still. It's frustrating now. No idea what's going on but I'm sure I'm not pregnant 😒
I really have my fingers crossed for you that you get a dark line 🤞 x

@Teapotdespot hey, I’m okay thanks. More okay than I thought I would be, if I’m honest. I’m bleeding heavily and it’s definitely a miscarriage as my tests are negative now, but I just want to get this over and done with so we can try again. How are you?

@dreamerkr I’m in limbo really, no sac on the scan but decent womb lining, cervix closed, HCG 250. I won’t know more until tomorrow when they retake my HCG to see if it’s doubled. My bleeding has stopped but I’ve had awful cramping so who knows.

Glad you’re doing ok, there’s no right or wrong way to react in these situations. With my first I took a week off work, with my second I couldn’t wait to get back to the office and keep busy. Both were the right choice at the time

@Teapotdespot I’m just trying my best to keep busy and not think about it, to be honest. I just want this bleeding to stop soon so we can try again. I’m not gonna wait a month.

Cramping is really common in the first trimester, maybe it’s just your uterus stretching? Fingers crossed for you! Are your HCG levels looking normal right now?

As long as the bleeding isn’t bright red, I don’t think it’s dangerous. Bright red bleeding is bad though. x

@dreamerkr my HCG is in normal range but the range is massive. They can’t tell a lot from one blood test, they have to take two 48 hours apart to tell if your HCG level has doubled or not. If it doesn’t double, you’re likely to miscarry at some point naturally. My first HCG yesterday was 250, so it needs to be around 500 tomorrow.

I haven’t had any more bleeding, just a fair amount of cramping and the bleeding that I did have was brown, and my cervix is closed so finding out if the pregnancy is progressing is the final hurdle.
