9dpo faint positive on IC

Hey, guys! It’s 9dpo for me today, and I took an IC this morning (easy@home) and it came up with a faint shadow of a line. I did one again just now and the same result. I took a FRER but that was negative, but the ICs definitely had a second line that showed up pretty quickly. I’ll attach the pictures, even though it’s very difficult to see in the pictures. In real, the shadow of a line is obvious. The bottom two tests in the picture are from today btw.
As for symptoms, I haven’t really had any. Slight twinges in my left side yesterday and I know I ovulated from that side. I’ve had diarrhoea (sorry, TMI) for the past few days and am bloated but I’m always bloated before my period. My period isn’t due for another 3-4 days yet.
I had a miscarriage at 5+4 last year, and a chemical pregnancy at the start of last month. I’ve had a period after that, and all seems to be normal.
Can you guys see anything in the pictures? The pictures are so bad, but I swear there’s a second line, although it’s very faint.

@LollyJ12 you’re still very early, but I can see something on your test! Does it have any colour to it though? That’s what my test looked like yesterday at 8dpo! x

@BPT2019 I got my positive on my FRER half an hour ago! It’s quite faint but it’s definitely there and definitely pink! How long have you been trying? x

7dpo today can anyone see a line I can see a very faint coloured line my end

@LollyJ12 I can see something, there’s definitely a shadow or a very faint line. Is it grey or does it have colour though? x

Sorry I must've missed this message! How are you doing? We've only been trying for a couple of months. I keep getting faint lines each day but they don't seem to be getting darker so I have no idea what my body is doing or if the tests are rubbish 😒 x

No, I'm not. I've got two small toddlers but I like these threads because both my tests were super faint and I could barely see them so know the feeling well. Good luck in your pregnancy 🙂

@BPT2019 I’m good, thanks! How are you? I got my BFP I guess, but I’m literally terrified and mad at myself for testing so early. I’m not even 4 weeks yet, and I am so scared about having another chemical pregnancy. Chemical pregnancies are the worst. I kinda wish I’d never tested.

Show us the lines! Faint lines are still positives if they have colour to them. How many DPO are you today? x

@gingerbeerandlemonade thank you :) My tests are really light too, and I’m so mad that I tested so early. I’m only 11DPO, I wish I had not tested. I’d rather find out late than worry about having another chemical pregnancy. x

@dreamerkr I'm using those tests also. I'm an avid line hunter and I couldn't see a trace of anything on them before 9DPO unlike FRER which seem to bring up lines from any old thing. Anyway- have attached my progress with them- the second one on 11DPO was an afternoon sample! Miles darker! And can compare the IC with FRER dipped in same sample on 13DPO. Think the lines just take longer to get dark with the cheaper ones, but I've been happy with them as saving ££.
Don't forget level only supposed to double every 48-36 hrs or something and in the early days that still gives you relatively low numbers (10/20/40/80).

Are you trying for your first too? And yes, these easy@home tests are so good! They’re very sensitive and great for their price! I actually got the faintest positive at 8dpo earlier on these than I did on a FRER. x

No, this will be our 2nd. Yeah I think those tests are great, they're more sensitive than CB and a fraction of price of FRER which is good for POAS addicts like me! Hope your lines keep darkening! 🤞🏻

@lastditchattempt20 that’s true! I had a clear line at 10dpo on an IC, but my clearblue digital said ‘not pregnant’. My line on a FRER was clear too. Thank you! I hope your lines keep darkening too! How many dpo are you today, and are you having any symptoms? x

@dreamerkr I'm 14DPO today which for me is 4 weeks ☺️ Nice slightly darker line this morning 👍 Had cramps are first, now have slightly sore boobs and raised body temp. Also today have bit of a sore throat and sniffle which apparently can be due to your immune system lowering in pregnancy. But nothing drastic or too awful 🤞🏻
Have private scan booked for 2.5 weeks time.... will be a long couple of weeks 😬 At my age (past 37) the risk of miscarriage is higher.

@lastditchattempt20 I’m so glad your lines are darkening! Your FRER was so dark at 13dpo! I’m having a bit of cramping but it’s on both sides and not intense, my boobs are slightly sore too and yesterday I had a bit of a flu. So kinda similar to your symptoms, nothing too crazy!
I’m so scared of having another miscarriage, I’m only 23 but last year had a miscarriage and a chemical in June. :( so I’m terrified and more so because I was stupid and tested super early again this time! My GP referred me to the recurrent miscarriage unit and I have my first appointment in the start of September. I haven’t told my GP yet because I’m so early and I don’t know what will happen..I’m 4 weeks tomorrow. So scared! :( x

Ah, sorry for your losses. Try not to be scared (easier said than done I know!) all looks good right now and given your age, I don't think your previous miscarriage should affect the chance of this one being successful.
I've not told GP yet, might wait till after 6w scan (is that too late?). Last time I had to go to EPAU at 6w anyway so that got the ball rolling and I was then under consultant care the whole time after that. Think this time will be the same, don't think I'm a straightforward community midwife case!

@lastditchattempt20 I was wondering the same thing, about when to contact my GP. I think I’m gonna ring her in a few days’ time just because I’m so scared and maybe she’ll give me something else to take too along with my vitamins. I’m just so confused about everything lol!

Looks like a tentitive congrats! I’m in the same boat, this is my line on an IC at 12dpo this morning, my test yesterday on the same tests was completely negative. I’ve had loads of chemicals and 3 miscarriages though so trying not to get excited, it’s so hard to remain calm when it’s so up in the air!

I am really irregular so I'm not sure, this is a photo of my test at the 3 mins (line showed straight away but waited the time out) and then when it's at 10 mins (this one is bad lighting and blurry). I keep getting odd cramps now and my boobs are achy so I'm guessing AF is on her way..... which is crap as I'm not pregnant but then good that I'll finally know where I am with my cycle (ish) 🙄 How are you feeling now? @BPT2019 I can see a line! There’s definitely a line and it has colour! You should check with a FRER, but I can definitely see something on both of those :)

I’m feeling fine, thanks! My boobs hurt a bit on the sides and nipples are slightly tender but nothing much. I keep getting weird light cramping too, and I’ve been running to the loo to check if AF has arrived so many times. I’m really scared mainly because I’m feeling fine! But then again, I’m 4 weeks today. x

Aw it's exciting! Did you say it's your first?
I honestly don't think I'm pregnant, no idea about the tests but it doesn't make sense. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that can see the line though 😊
I'll keep you updated with my line situation or if AF arrives x
