@VP91x @MichT4 where do u go online to see ur medical history?

@Diorissimo1985 aw:( what ur describing can be either. You aren’t out until AF arrives. hand hold

Jazper · 24/07/2020 17:03

Thank you for the new bus @VP91x , I really can't believe how quickly our group moves! It's really lovely that it's so busy on here. I can always guarantee every time I come on there'll be something new to read/more updates 😊

Can I ask why everyone is drinking Pom juice in the tww only? I must admit, with my more relaxed approach this month, I haven't drank much at all but last cycle I did, and everything I have read points towards the proliferative stage as being as important for uterine thickening as the tww. It actually begins to thicken as soon as bleeding ceases so I would have thought getting some Pom in a few days prior to this would help?
Not interfering if you are happy just drinking it in your tww, just sharing info I have read so nobody misses out ☺️

Also, as a side note, and for the interest of those taking out second mortgages for said ridiculously overpriced Pom juice 😝 - as I said earlier, I drank a lot of the stuff last cycle and I do strongly believe it did thicken my lining as my period was heavier and slightly longer than bleeds prior to that, post mc 🤞🏼

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:03

@VP91x I can only see my medicines, says I have to contact my doctor for results 🙄

@2020wish it's the nhs app - who knew!?

2020wish · 24/07/2020 17:10

Boo it doesn’t work for Northern Ireland. Part time apart of the Uk

Jazper · 24/07/2020 17:11

Oh @Diorissimo1985 , you have lots of hands here to hold. We are with you, we understand, we sympathise. That stage leading up to af is so bloody difficult, especially when you feel like it's coming. My whole cycle is an emotional roller coaster. I feel dreadful on the run up to af, sad, depressed, angry, frustrated, then I feel relieved when she arrives (after numerous negative tests 🙄), then full of hope during and for about a week after, then all sorts of pressure and frustration during fertile week - 'have we done enough?' 'When should we go again'... etc etc, then hopeful again for a bit of the tww, then go back in to negativity for the latter half of the tww (probably subconsciously preparing myself for a negative outcome).
Anyway, I've rambled there but, you are not alone ❤️

Diorissimo1985 · 24/07/2020 17:25

Thanks ladies, I know you all know 😢

@Jazper you’ve described it so well there - I can’t deal with the rollercoaster of emotions, it’s too much. I’m overwhelmed all the time and feel hopeless especially with doctors not being very helpful.

I’ve been diagnosed with autoimmune issues (rheumatoid arthritis) which can apparently have a link with recurrent early miscarriage as my immune system sees embryos as ‘foreign’ and basically kills them off. No idea if this is the real issue as they will only test after three miscarriages and I’ve ‘only’ had two Sad
I’m getting passed back and forth between gynae, rheumatologist and GP - none of whom seem to know what to do or prescribe and I’m literally begging for a referral to RMC but they won’t as I haven’t had enough losses.

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:42

Ladies, if any of you need a little break and like me, love a caravan holiday, here are the codes you need

Only, kelp, boat, cake, ward, fame, r34L

They are all in caps but the website defaults to caps anyway.

www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk

I have just booked a weekend away to Cornwall in October for £40 - can't go wrong.

Am big into the changes of scenery. The first MC was so much worse because of lockdown and not being able to do anything. This time, we have a night away booked, a week in the lakes and now this - good for the soul I think.

Just wanted to share as I said I would and I just think we all need a break sometimes

Ps taking OPKs are optional 😂

xx

SmileyT · 24/07/2020 17:44

@VP91x came on to reply to everything and definitely ended up videoing myself saying some numbers on this NHS app, who knew!? Also you sound like you've done so much research and you're fully armed for this Drs appt on Monday. I'm thinking MAFS is going to be my next binge ☺️

@Pugprincess yay to getting your flashing smiley face... hopefully you won't get too many before your static 👌🏾

@MichT4 ahh thanks lovely, I think the problem is I've always had perfectly average B size boobs so never wear a bra at home and this one boob needs a bit of support now 😂 scan is on the 7th August, I'm feeling eerily calm at the moment... I've kinda come to this conclusion that whatever is going to happen will happen regardless of whether I stress, we'll see how long this lasts. It's the only battered sausage I have an appetite for right now 🙈 how are you feeling? And thanks for the code I've never done a UK break (apart from center Parcs when I was 17) but feel like I should give it a go x

@calimommy find it really interesting with the opks seems to be some just don't gel with people, I found the femometer ones worked well for me, but that is a pretty clear peak, is there any chance you're ovulating late x

@Stayinghopeful92x so random about being late, hope you get an answer either way really soon... I think everything is all good but holding off on my scan so we shall see x

@Runnergirl1 ahh I'm so sorry this is still going on but I'm glad you are being monitored and hopefully the next scan will show that everything has passed naturally and you can start to physically move on xx

@Diorissimo1985 I'm so sorry you are feeling like this, let yourself be sad, lots of handholds here x

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:46

@Diorissimo1985 @Jazper I've certainly been there too. Feels like everything is just centred around the cycle and what stage it is, always waiting for the next bit and wishing time away.

That's why I've made a point of booking things now, so I can look forward to actual things, not just look forward to AF finishing, the FW, end of the TWW....

It's so frustrating with the RMC. I think 1 is too many, so the fact they say 2 isn't enough is just insulting. I'd call again maybe, say you want hormone blood tests at least. They have to be CD1-7 for the first one so call ASAP. At least then you feel like something is being done. Were you trying for long before your MC's?

calimommy · 24/07/2020 17:48

Oh wow so curiosity got the better of me.

TTC after MC - July/August 2020 (Thread 8)
calimommy · 24/07/2020 17:49

I'm shocked. Normally I always know or feel differently.

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:50

@SmileyT 😂😂😂. Maybe OH was hoping the battered one would give you a taste. More fool him - just more take aways please!

How funny about your boob. Imagine if it just keeps getting bigger and bigger 😳
Keep the calmness, and you're right, there's nothing you can do to change the outcome. I think if you can make peace with that then it's an amazing thing. Bring on the 7th!

I mean, it's no lovely Barbados trip, but we normally get really nice caravans, and it is what it is, just food fun with people you love and just a chance to get away.
It's nostalgic for me as we used to do it as kids so I love it, but appreciate it's not for everyone.

Give it a go - it's £40 so if you hate it, just come home! So many lovely places in the UK too xx

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:51

@calimommy !!!!! Oh my god! Congratulations!! This is amazing!! xx

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:52

@calimommy a pretty strong line too!

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 17:55

@calimommy sorry, message spam! And you just said about throwing the towel in. I'm so happy for you!

calimommy · 24/07/2020 18:05

@MichT4 thank you I really appreciate that. And I know how it feels when it seems like people just pop on to show a BFP, it wasn't like that in this case. I needed a break from focusing on all this and genuinely thought my hormones were fucked up again with those weird OPKs.
Anxiety that it will happen again creeps in too but just getting to grips with it now I guess. X

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 18:07

@calimommy not at all. You have to do what is right for you, and it worked!
So I'm assuming from what you've said, you had no symptoms? And did you just DTD as and when without the positive OPK?

Runnergirl1 · 24/07/2020 18:12

I was given the option but more steered towards wait for it as it’s nearly there. I’ve passed everything else apparently it’s just and empty sac now which is frustrating but been given strong painkillers incase I go through the same as Wednesday. Yeah it’s good to keep monitoring. It’s just been such a long process and my partner although I love him dearly hasn’t been the most supportive as he deals with things differently to me and looks at it differently but I guess that’s just a mans view x

Northernsoul90 · 24/07/2020 18:14

@Jazper I've never tried the Pom before so thought I'd give it go and have waited until now really because I don't know where my cycles at and it's so so expensive 😂! Thank you for that though if no luck this time I may start it earlier next cycle. Xx

@Diorissimo1985 You're not out yet 🤞🏼Offering
a hand hold and sending virtual hugs. Couldn't have said it better than @Jazper ❤️

Ooh thanks for that @MichT4 im going to have a look we need a bit of a break! Cornwall sounds lovely xx

Oh my goodness @calimommy what a nice surprise! Congratulations 🥳 so happy for you xx

2020wish · 24/07/2020 18:36

@calimommy congrats!!! So happy for u!!! Amazing

DBTJ · 24/07/2020 18:51

@calimommy congrats hope it sticks.

Has anyone experienced having subchorionic bleeding

VP91x · 24/07/2020 18:54

@Rainbowhope11 ah fab, okay I'll discuss it with the doc and will probably get some.

@Northernsoul90 ben&hols is good too! It's the same people/voices that do peppa pig.

@Diorissimo1985 sending you so much love, I really hope you are okay. Absolutely here for you, whenever you need anything. I'm sorry that you're in between clinics. You must be so frustrated. 😩 @Jazper put it perfectly xx

@MichT4 oh no way, did you upload your passport and weird video? Thank you so much for the codes going to have a little nosey! Xx

@SmileyT haha, the NHS should really promote these things more. Yeah definitely need to keep watching MAFS looks like it is going to be juicy. 😂😂😂 When I was preggers I definitely didn't want any battered sausage. Not long until your scan 🥰🥰. Any nice weekend plans? Xx

@calimommy this is fantastic news, massive congratulations ❤️❤️🥳🥳 xx

calimommy · 24/07/2020 18:56

@DBTJ yes I had it with one pregnancy. Mine grew heavier and heavier and didn't end well unfortunately but my understanding is that many women have them with no problems at all.

MichT4 · 24/07/2020 18:57

@VP91x yeah I did. The video was horrendous 😂 I wasn't prepared but didn't think it was worth going and putting some make up on 🤣
I think it's just I have to ask my doctor to let them be there, I don't know. I'll probably just mention it next time I call them.

Someone stop me, I want Chinese (again) xx

SmileyT · 24/07/2020 19:01

@calimommy omg congratulations 🥳 this is a amazing news, that's another reason you'll have a peak before AF is due 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

@MichT4 are you going as a big group or just the two of you? xx

@DBTJ I had a subchorionic hematoma in my last pregnancy that was seen on my scan at 6w4, they said that it's what caused my initial spotting x
