Hi all
Just started TTC number two while still feeding 13 month old. Couldn't see a recent thread for others in same boat so wondered if anyone else wanted to chat along?
Had my first period pp only about 6 weeks ago then nothing since. Been using OPK just to start tracking again til my normal cycle returns, wasn't expecting anything interesting but had a real clear LH surge a few days ago and had been DTD so who knows, o guess I am in TWW now? Even a second period would be handy at this stage so I can get some more info about where my body is at!

Fingers crossed you get through to your GP early tomorrow, explain what you've told us and they get you down to the EPU for a check...I bet you won't sleep tonight but try to look after yourself. A tiny bit of brown blood over a long period of time sounds hopeful to me 😘

@Workingmama1 it is such a worrying time. So glad that it wasn't ectopic. Really hope everything looks good when you do go for your scan.

So I did another test this morning and the line is as dark as it goes still which gave me some hope, but then I realised that it's one of the CB early ones so I suppose it picks up minuscule amounts of HCG. No spotting through the night but then this morning when I wipe more very pale brown (sorry for the tmi 🙈). Everything feels a bit stretchy inside so maybe it's just everything settling in? No crampy feelings so this does seem different to my first mc.

Just fed my dd and am counting the minutes until the doctor's surgery opens so I can at least DO something. Xx

@glowingtwig hope you're ok 😘 I'm out, AF turned up today at 5dpo (again) but at least this was a 28 day cycle instead of 35+

Awww sorry to hear AF turned up @heyha, thats a very short lutal phase though if you only ovulated 5 days ago. Have you looked into it or spoken to a doctor?

I'm still an absolute bag of nerves, was 7 weeks yesterday and follow upn can on Monday. No real reason to think anything is wrong but following a MMC in April my mind keeps thinking about the worst.

Decided that we will wean when I get to the 2nd trimester (🤞 I get there!). I dont want to stop before then and cause my hormones to go wacky.

@glowingtwig I really hope you were able to get seen and everything is OK, I've been thinking about you 💗

Yeah I wasn't expecting it to happen again tbh but maybe I've got the ovulation wrong (although it's been pretty textbook)...I've ordered a thermometer for next month and as DD settles into nursery we will be pretty much day weaned, she's been more needy at bedtime but not increased her night feeds so we are hopefully well on the quanto eliminating BF as a cause of the weird cycles, I'm going to wait month before docs as I'm sure the first advice would be to wean her completely. This AF is much more like a 'normal' one than last one so maybe I am back to normal and will have a nice cd14 ov instead of cd22 IAH which is the last two months (I think).

No news is good news @Workingmama1 and hopefully your scan will show all plodding along nicely, hope you've got a busy weekend planned to help the waiting time go quickly!

Thank you for your thoughts @Heyha and @Workingmama1 sorry to hear about AF coming @Heyha but a 28 day cycle, that's good! Plus your little one being at nursery and not taking so much milk from you.

Fingers crossed all is ok for your scan @Workingmama1 it's so nerve wracking waiting. Especially after missed mc, that must have been so traumatic.

It's not good news my end... definitely a mc and I think the sac has come out. What I think it is anyway and we are going to put it underneath the rose bush with the other loss we had and say a few words to it once dd is in bed. Silly but it does make me feel better knowing I've got it and didn't flush it away.

Onwards and upwards and trusting my body and will start trying straight away again and get hope from how quickly we fell pregnant with this one, even if it didn't work out this time.

Oh @glowingtwig I'm so so sorry, I had everything crossed for a more positive outcome for you. Its lovely that you are able to do something and say some words. I hope you can use some time to rest and reset.

I'm 7dpo (based on a static smiley on a clear blue on CD15) so nothing really exciting happening here.

Trying to decide whether to leave ttc this cycle or just get straight back to it... still spotting and going into fertile window, so not sure my body is ready for it but then I'm always so 'what if this is the good egg, this month' ? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Nothing positive to report here, got some light pink spotting when I wiped last night, 9dpo/cd 25 and seems to still be showing on the paper today although not really enough to need to use a panty liner even.

Obviously my psychotic desperate to conceive brain is saying it could be implantation bleeding but my logical brain is saying it's the normal pre AF spotting which means AF will arrive in full force tomorrow or Monday.

@glowingtwig how about you just don't make a decision and let what happens happen. Don't track anything and just dtd for fun as and when (although we all know you'll know when it's likely to be FW 😂😂) and see what happens. So technically you're taking a break this month but who knows, it could well happen x

Hello ladies, I hope it’s ok to join. I’m breastfeeding a 5 month old with some formula top ups as he’s prone to cluster feed a lot. I’m not quite ready to ttc and haven’t had a period yet. Just wanted to hop on and offer support/find out just how to get to a position of being fertile. I’m also 41 years old so time is of the essence for us.

Hi ladies, my scan went well on Monday, so a baby woth a heartbeat measueing 7+2, so exactly 2 weeks bigger than last time, I was so full of adrenaline and emotion I just broke down in tears! I'm 8 weeks now and booking in appointment on Friday, just hoping things continue to go well.

I'm approaching this month's fertile window but I'm not feeling it tbh, maybe it's back to school, two disappointing months of weird cycles and DD being a bit of a pain at the moment all putting me off 😂 so might have a month off trying.

So so happy to hear all is looking well @Workingmama1 hope you're feeling ok and not too tired?

@Clairey844 that's sort of my plan too but then slightly obsessing that on the CB ovulation monitor thing it's showing just the empty circle but I'm getting ewcm?!? Maybe it's going to be a strange one while my body catches up with itself? But yeah ordinarily I'd be jumping on DH even though he's working late this eve but as it is I think I'll just go to sleep tonight!

Back to school is rubbish... I go back day after tomorrow  @Heyha are you a teacher too? Making me want to catch with another baby soon to get another maternity leave while dd is still little

Thanks ladies, had another scan today and all still looking good. My bladder was so full I had to go and have a wee before she could scan me 🤣 That's it for scans now so I'll have to wait it out until 12 weeks!

I hope gping back to school for those of you teaching hasn't been too painful. I also used to teach (secondary maths) and was a school governor for a few years so understand how challenging everything must be at the moment.

Are you still persevering with the CB monitor @glowingtwig? I found after my mmc my CM was allmover the place once the bleeding finally died down so it could be your body resitting.

Ah lots of teachers/ex-teachers here! Yes back to school today just the year 7 darlings, bit weird doing the standard lab safety lesson with covid into the mix but I'm sure they'll all have their Bunsen burner licenses by the end of next week 😂
That's a nice clear pic @Workingmama1, a few weeks of no news is good news now then! I know what you mean about wanting another mat leave @glowingtwig although I keep switching between thinking it'd be easier to have DD at school and be on leave again, and doing it all over again now while she's small so I'm not paying for nursery for a few months 😂 however time is possibly not on my side so will see where the hormones take me I think. Must admit being back at work wasn't so bad, it was nice to see people!

So many teachers or ex-teachers! That's funny! Yes, just one year group in for us today and one lesson but then next week will be back to reality with a bump because so many full teaching days.

I had another go with the CB monitor when I got in yesterday and was so disgusted with the plain circle again... I'm so impatient even though I know it's my cycle working itself out. A darker line on the Wilco cheapie test this morning though so maybe I'll ovulate a bit late.

@Heyha I know what you mean about nursery fees... but also about time. I really wanted to be pregnant before I turn 40 in 5 months but really didn't expect to fall so quickly with the lost pregnancy... DH and I were a bit 😳 at the thought of mat pay on part time hours and two sets of nursery fees. Not that we didn't want it to work out of course.

I hope everyone has nice weekend plans. I'm feeding dd and then back to work again. She needs to hurry up or I'll be late!

Ooh static smiley this morning... three days later than usual. Lucky I jumped on poor DH last night. You think if we do it again tonight and tomorrow there's a chance right?

Whenever I've got pregnant we've had sex about 6 times in a row over fertile week...

I'd say so 😊 I know exactly when DD was conceived because it was the only (well-timed) possibility that month so three in one window sounds plenty to me 😂

How's everyone getting on? I'm 6 DPO I think but not testing early or anything and trying to relax about it. I'm back to work now so three days of only feeding dd morning and eve. So happy it's the weekend!!
