Hi all
Just started TTC number two while still feeding 13 month old. Couldn't see a recent thread for others in same boat so wondered if anyone else wanted to chat along?
Had my first period pp only about 6 weeks ago then nothing since. Been using OPK just to start tracking again til my normal cycle returns, wasn't expecting anything interesting but had a real clear LH surge a few days ago and had been DTD so who knows, o guess I am in TWW now? Even a second period would be handy at this stage so I can get some more info about where my body is at!

Oh gosh, really? The one the other day was better than that but this is the first line I've had since 😲 beat go and see what Boots has available tomorrow then...be handy if it is real as it's our anniversary next week and I haven't got him a present yet 😂

Only had clear blue earlies in stock (blue dye, get) and nothing clear to report just a dye run and a maybe squinter again. Glad I ordered a load more OPKs 😂 better get hubby something too. Have ordered a couple of FRER as old faithfuls but I think this must be a chemical or something as I'm definitely 13-14dpo so would expect a bit more of a line by now I think. Onwards!

Ohhh @Heyha so frustrating. I think I could have had a chemical last month - who knows. FRERs on order is a good thing.

Morning ladies... 13 DPO here and frantically trying to keep my hands off the CB early test in the bathroom cupboard. Even mid-way through morning wee I was thinking it could just get it quick'
AF due tomorrow and I'm super weepy and emotional today so wouldn't be at all surprised if she shows up.
Help me keep my twitchy fingers off that test!!!!

Ha @glowingtwig I've got the second of mine looking at me so we shall resist together! If my FRER turn up today I'll do one of them though- didn't realise the clear blue early aren't as quite sensitive as frer, I assumed they'd just copied them tbh.
I feel tired and sick today but I'm sure it's a combo of it being in my head and little one being up twice in the night.
Maybe compromise with yourself and hold your afternoon wee for an early evening test?

Right there with you @Heyha resist... resist!. £7 a test is tooo much after 10 months' mat leave. That's what I'm telling myself 😆

I've only ever had BFPs on CB, all the FRERs I ever took were negative when I was ttc my first so I've frustrating emotions to do with those. Nothing to do with the test itself... just happened that CB were available when I actually was pregnant 😂 I have heard they are better.

It's so hard not to get a bit excited each month, even though I keep telling my DH that at 39 it's a 10-15% chance each month but he says stats are a load of crap, that we have had one healthy pregnancy that didn't take too long to conceive and we are both healthy... he also likes to remind me he is 5 years younger, too 😂🙄

Played it super-cool with the Amazon man then sprinted up the stairs to....another squinter. Although I had only just been to the loo it's still not looking great (a line's a line, I know, but I had my hopes pinned on the super sensitive one doing the job!). Going to do a urine hold and see this afternoon, bloody expensive hobby this is!

Haha I can just imagine that with the Amazon man 🙈 and ohhh another squinter- it's SO frustrating. But a line is a line....

Really feint line again this afternoon ☹️ so think it's chemical. Not completely out yet (and I do have the same symptoms as last time, but free gave me a great line by this time) but they'll have to be clearer lines by Thursday if I'm going to wrap one up for hubby 😂

Oh it's so hard not knowing either way. Faint lines are rubbish and then you sit there waiting for it to get darker 😐
My DH is the same, he would need to see something really obvious!

Getting niggly AF pains here so think I'm out.

I've got that clear blue for tomorrow morning (I guess you've still got yours too if you think you're out?) then I think I'll just go OPKs for August now, no idea when to expect AF though either which helps?! @Nov19 how are you doing? Anyone else making any progress or otherwise?

@Heyha I’m doing ok thank you. I hope you get some certainty with a clear blue - if it helps, in my last two pregnancies I got really strong lines on pregnancy tests, this time they were very faint but confirmed with clear blue. I took another clear blue a few days ago which went from 1-2 weeks up to 3+ because I’ve been driving myself crazy. I found an old test that had fell down the back
Of one of the cabinets and only now is the line dark (I’m about 5+3 I think?)

@Heyha yeah still got the CB but no AF yet...

Nothing on the CB and another silly squinter on the cheapies. No more expensive tests tilni get a good line on a cheapie! Hoping you're having more fun with your CB @glowingtwig mad that's good to know @nov19 glad you're doing ok!

Hey, posted the other day and been following since. I had ruled myself out this month for various reasons but now 2 days late and just got the faintest line on cb so did a cbd and got my bfp! Good luck to everyone else!

Oooohhh! Glad she's not with you yet @glowingtwig...I got a reasonable line on a cheapy at lunchtime (postie bought me goodies today) but just done another one and it's squintington again. Good job the Amazon man was back today with hubby's anniversary present 😂

Haha @Heyha the good old Amazon man. Our Hermes guy is like my best mate now and he's seen me breastfeeding opening the door about 10 times now too.

Would love to join. My LG is 2yrs 4mo old and feeds to sleep and during the night. Rarely in the day anymore.

Got my period back in May last year when she was 13m, had a MMC which was discovered at my 12week scan in Feb so have been ttc for 12 cycles.

Currently CD2, feeling like it's never going to happen but also not ready to stop feeding so just hoping it happens when my body is ready 🤞🏻 I'm also no spring chicken so worried my age is against me 😂

Plus already worrying my line isn't as dark at this time last time but I was half asleep and peed on it for only 3 seconds so put it back in the wee again so maybe diluted?!
See... pregnancy makes me a nervous wreck.
Going to try and go back to sleep now for an hour before dd wakes up. Eeeeek!

Congratulations @glowingtwig! I know what you mean. I've taken 4 more tests since yesterday I couldn't believe it. Still hasn't completely sunk in I don't think. Also scared of getting My hopes up until I've had a scan.

Thanks @Fleeflyyflooo I only had one test in the house so might get some more of the same brand and do another in two days time to see if the line gets darker. So cross with myself for not weeing on this one properly 🙄 But agree that it's hard not to get too invested until the scan plus we will have the NIPT again I think, if we get that far, due to my age. I found that reassuring as you get so much more time in with the sonographer too and about 10 pictures, which is nice.

Cheapy cheapy squintsville here again this morning so hubby has been given his backup present 😂 I'm allowing myself an FMU and an afternoon POAS sesh each day til I get a good line or til AF shows up or I guess if my OPK tells me something interesting....just annoyed being in limbo now really.

I'm proper excited for you though @glowingtwig after all your patience waiting to test!
