@Pugprincess aw :( I know how you feel :( first time trying after a mc is very surreal. Be kind to yourself. Yes ylove I many ovulate a bit later this month, so maybe just continue to DTD every 2 days to keep u covered x

VP91x · 19/07/2020 05:51

Having a wobble this morning because had a temp drop. This is my chart now and if I didn't actually ovulate this month I'll be devastated. Can't have two months in a row 😩. Xx

@VP91x could be an implantation dip!! Dot lose hope. I always had a dip at some point after ovulation and it always went back up even when I got my BFP. It could be implantation as I said or other external factors

2020wish · 19/07/2020 06:10

Ladies I’m really struggling. My anxiety and nerves are through the roof, I need some forum of relaxation techniques to help me not worryZ my lines are all strong today and my digital is positive! 11dpo. I couldn’t be anymore happier!! I want to stop testing now but every morning I wake up knowing it could all be over. I’m shaking... had anyone any advice... I feel like I am going to cause a loss with the worry going through my body right now. The bottom one is a femometer test that I have never gotten a positive on has it’s less sensitive so first day getting a BFP on that lil bugger

VP91x · 19/07/2020 06:15

@2020wish I know it is easy to say when you are not in the situation, however I would try maybe some audiobooks or a good podcast and going out for a walk. Clear your mind. Until anything shows you otherwise, you must trust that everything is okay with your little bean otherwise you'll spend all your time in a worried state which isn't good for your mental health. Remember with each pregnancy the odds are in your favour to be a healthy one ❤️

OP posts:
2020wish · 19/07/2020 06:25

@VP91x is it normal that I’m absolutely terrified for going a walk or any type of physical activity for fear of causing a loss? I dunno if it stems from my 6 weeks loss after sex. Or the fact that I have no idea what is going wrong. Going to try and relax and listen to an audio book or something. Hope ur ok today, try not to let that temp this morning throw u off. U had 3 days or rises after that ovulation dip so I think u have def ovulated

VP91x · 19/07/2020 06:31

@2020wish of course, it is SO normal to feel all of these things and the worst thing about the losses is how much joy it steals from us. A positive should be the happiest time, but instead we worry. However, you won't cause a loss by going for a walk, but maybe for today have a warm bath or just lie in bed if you can and listen to some audios or watch some good films. Turn your phone off for a bit if it helps to not google etc. ❤️

@VP91x thank you. I’m back to work tomorrow so I’ll be on my feet on a long shift so I think today is a bath and lazy bed day deffo. Thank you x

Pugprincess · 19/07/2020 06:40

@2020wish congratulations 🥳 I use an audio for progressive muscle relaxation
www.cntw.nhs.uk/content/uploads/2017/06/F_06_Progressive-Muscle-Relaxation.mp3

I know what you mean about sex in pregnancy cause I know they say it’s safe but we did it 3 times and I worry that caused mine too. We won’t be doing it once preg (if)

Also attaching pic for deep belly breathing xx

TTC after MC - July 2020 (Thread 7)
Pugprincess · 19/07/2020 06:43

@2020wish you are probably getting a lot of adrenaline running through you at the moment from the fight or flight. Deep breathing releases toxins and reduces the adrenaline which will take away physical symptoms like fast heart rate etc. I did cbt therapy that’s how I learnt all this as I have anxiety and panic attacks, I was so bad at one time I couldn’t leave the house xx

2020wish · 19/07/2020 06:44

@Pugprincess yes me and my other half decided no sex for at least the first three months if we get pregnant again. Thank you so much. I will have a look at the pic and link now x

Rainbowhope11 · 19/07/2020 06:54

@2020wish I am so happy to see this news!!!! Congratulations lovely!! ❤️

SmileyT · 19/07/2020 07:05

@Bellabubble I'm glad that OH has some time off with you aswell, it's not nice when you both feel so stressed and it'll be good to have some relaxing time together. I'm all good thanks lovely just plodding along and staying positive x

@littletandme so sorry that AF arrived wishing you a sticky bean for next month 🤞 x

@chloedancer897 I used femometer and premom, I liked premom as it gives you a nice lh chart so you can see the pattern x

@VP91x added that page on insta thanks 🙏 also I'm going to repay the favour on the temps chat. Based on when I am now pretty sure I ovulated I had a drop below coverline on 2 and 5dpo and was pretty close to coverline on 8 and 13dpo so based on one low temp it doesn't mean you haven't ovulated. My temps were the least stable this month so just remember it's the pattern and doesn't need to look like a textbook chart throughout xx

@Firevie definitely deserve to enjoy yourself and so glad you had a nice night xx

@2020wish I think it's perfectly normal to feel anxious throughout pregnancy, heightened emotions due to a change in hormones is completely understandable. A couple of things I've reminded myself of is that most early losses are because of chromosomal abnormalities and because the pregnancy wasn't viable in the first place, our bodies are amazing and equipped to carry healthy pregnancies; sex, walking or worrying won't cause a MC. I've told myself that a transvaginal exam is much more intrusive than sex (or it felt that way to me 🙈) and if they do that in early pregnancy sex or walking surely can't harm a healthy embryo but obviously you decide what's best for you as a couple. I found testing helped a lot and relieved my anxiety because I could see the line progressing but if it stresses you out stop testing now. Try and stay off of google and enjoy the fact that as of today you have everything you have been working towards and there is literally nothing else that could make this BFP better today. The future is unknown but worrying about it won't change it. Also try meditation, even 20minutes will chill you right out, loads on YouTube. You'll probably find getting yourself back to work and having that distraction will help. Sending you so many virtual hugs xx

Renna · 19/07/2020 07:15

@2020wish lovely lines this morning xxx massive congratulations and 100% normal to feel like that . Like the girls have said probably your body going into over drive of adrenaline excitement and also fear as you've been hurt so many times before with this process. I think this is why I'm holding off testing I think im trying to protect myself in some way as I so badly want that BFP and been waiting 4/5 months now but 1)I'm so scared to see it be negative again despite the fact my AF is now 2 days late which is quite unheard of for me. 2) I'm also scared of getting the BFP because of the loss ... it does take away some of the excitement as I know just gonna be 9 months of worry . Especially that first scan ... i think I'll be shaking then because I've never had a scan and seen a heartbeat/live baby.so have no nice .memories of it .
At 8.30am I am going to a yoga /meditation class on a beach near my house. Hoping this will take my mind of things and relax.. do you do meditation ? Xx that might help xx

I'm the same as you as weve told my step son we will play tennis later but I'm like what if I am pregnant .. should I play.... even though I know its safe but I'm still second guessing it. Also my DH was trying it on last night haha I was like urm let's sort you out in ways other than sex 🤣

I've already been for FMU I'm thinking I should have just tested this morning as I'm over thinking everything now and could be for no reason....

Can you use FRER /CB tests other than FMU. ?

My femometer app says AF is 3 days late. And I've felt my cervix I think it still feels closed. It feels different to anything it normally feels tbh when I normally check throughout cycle but have nothing to compare with as I never used to check cervix before MC xx

TJM123 · 19/07/2020 07:19

Hello ladies I hope it’s ok to jump in late. I’m TTC after an early miscarriage at the end of June. I ov tested and had a fertile window so we DTD. But it went low the next day so don’t know if was too late. I now have THE most sore boobs, but did a test and it was negative. AF due 25 July eep! Trying to just not think about it now - loving all your tips for relaxation etc. Wishing good luck to all who are still waiting 🌈xx

VP91x · 19/07/2020 07:19

@SmileyT ah fab, it is such a great resource! She has a podcast too which is a brilliant listen. Yes, I must remember this. Also a quick google has said it is potentially an estrogen surge when it is this early on which further indicates ov did happen. In true femometer fashion, it is telling me I'm broken 😂. How are you this morning? Xx

@Rainbowhope11 how are you getting on? Xx

OP posts:
VP91x · 19/07/2020 07:23

@Renna I reckon with a good three/four hour hold especially whilst AF is late then you'll be fine testing with the FRER 🥰🥰 got everything crossed for you, sounds so positive.

Welcome @TJM123 sorry for your loss. Don't be disheartened with the negative if AF isn't due until 25th then you're definitely too early to see a reliable result 🥰 xx

Urghhh I’m STILL getting a really faint second line on preg test with fmu 😞 how long did you all take to get pure negatives after mc? X

Mommybear05 · 19/07/2020 07:32

@2020wish lovely lines. Congratulations! Xx I know what you mean I had a little cry to my hubby last night saying that if we get pregnant again I’m going to be super nervous. I think we just need to remember that mc are not our fault and there’s nothing you can do one way or another as it’s often to do with chromosomes when we have a loss. I know how you feel though. Try to say some positive pregnancy affirmations each day. I did Hypnobirthing when I had my son and it really worked for me to calm my nerves! Sending you positive vibes for a sticky bean and hope that you try to find some peace xxxx

Mommybear05 · 19/07/2020 07:33

Girls just wanted to share my first ever in my life positive ovulation test 😍😍😊😊🤩🤩 haha xxx

VP91x · 19/07/2020 07:47

Ooh yay to static smiley @Mommybear05!! Brilliant news 🥰 wishing you all the best luck for this cycle. Do the pinks just go straight to a static? Xx

OP posts:
Mommybear05 · 19/07/2020 07:54

@VP91x yes the pink one only detects the lh surge and does not detect eastrogen so it just goes straight from zero to solid smile. This is my first month testing with them so I was quite excited. Cd14 too. Last month was a 27 day cycle so this sounds about right.
Hope you’re doing well xx

DBTJ · 19/07/2020 07:54

@2020wish I thought of u this morning I wanted to test and I remember what I told u so I quickly went toilet so I have nothing to poas with.
Trust me when I say now you have a confirmed positive stop testing if need be maybe once a week. The more you stress its adding to the chances of mc .which last mc I noticed lines were not progressing and this really affected me and made me worry and stress before I actually mc. I dont want that kind of streess again. We need to give this little bean the best chances of sticking

Renna · 19/07/2020 07:59

I caved using SMU BFN with FRER and CB digital . .. I dont understand 😓😔 I'm CD31 never had a cycle longer than this . Crying again. This process is so shit. Now need to go yoga /meditation although really not up to it

Xx

Rainbowhope11 · 19/07/2020 08:06

@Pugprincess it took me 8 weeks for Hcg to drop down to 0. Hang in there! Fingers crossed that it's not too much longer for you xx
