Update from me CD20, 3DPO (I think) 🥰.. Nothing going on at the moment, will wait impatiently for the next week xx

🤞🏻 For you @Pugprincess it’s nice people are in the same boat and going through the same emotions

I guess we just have to take one step at a time. Like I say Friday is my next step to see if everything has gone and I’ll have a chat with them. See where I go from there x

@Rb486 ovulation buddy how are you? Sorry to hear with your mc you had two lots of medical management. That must have been tough! April to June drawn out for such a long time 😢 Yes glad that you left those sticks behind when you went away. You need to leave it for your sanity sometimes. Yes I used cheapies before but I don’t want to use them again even though I have a cupboard full as it’s just not clear enough for me with the whole it needs to be as dark or darker thing. I find it hard to judge. But then I thought cb would work out expensive but really not as I now realise one pack lasts several months 😊 but the real reason I wasn’t testing before wasn’t the price of cb it was because I didn’t want to test every single day I felt too upset. But again now I know with Cb you only test for so many days per cycle so it’s all good.
I’m impatient this month! I generally spot before af around cd 24 so we will see (getting more in touch with cycles now so I know now the spotting is normal for me as before had no clue about my cycle after over 10 years on the pill, then pregnancy, then breastfeeding, then miscarriage) so post mc I had not clue what my cycles should be. I’m getting in tune now :) xx

@SmileyT I know yeah, I was just thinking if maybe they would run some bloodwork and get me the results back quicker instead of waiting like a week or two. I'll speak to my doctor in the morning again anyway, I'm still on the waiting list for the scan too.

Your dinner sounds yum, I had cereal it was that kind of evening😂

@Rainbowhope11 oh god that's awful!! Especially when it can have such an effect which it did for you. Sometimes you get treated so badly😩

@Renna oh god that sounds so stressful, I really hope all these things don't delay your AF even further. Have you considered calling your doctor to see if they will look into your cycles or give you something to induce AF? I have no advice on the mortgage situ but I really hope it works out okay. ❤️

Welcome @Kitkatb0808 so sorry about the loss of your twins. Im not sure on how different it is to conceive at 41 however, it does happen lots of women are having children later so, try not to worry too much. Get advice from your doctor sooner if you feel you need it 🥰🥰

@Mommybear05 hello 👋🏼 I’m okay thank you! How are you? Yeah it was very drawn out I guess. But we’re here now 😊 and fingers crossed for another BFP soon! Yes defos have to agree.. the cb ones are so much clearer and felt good to get a smiley! Post all of those horrid blank circles, lol! So how many DPO do you make us? I think I’m on 2DPO and CD 23! Aw so you’ve got one baby? Do you have a girl, boy? How old? 😊 so with having a bubba, breastfeeding and a m/c your cycle must have been up and down!! Glad your getting back in tune with it though. Defos helps doesn’t it when ttc having a more regular cycles. I came off the pill last October when me and my partner brought our house. Then I fell in January, my cycles were getting closer together after coming off the pill. I’m hoping this cycle will be 30 ish days but let’s see what both of our tww’s bring! Xxx

@Rb486 yes 2days post ovulation I reckon. So we will see. And yes a smiley is so reassuring. I feel so much happier this month knowing when I ovulated. I feel more in control. My son is 19 months. He was conceived first try, well I came off the pill and I had one cycle we weren’t leaving it in. Then next cycle got caught! Bf for 16/17 months and didn’t get af til 13 months that’s when I got pg and miscarried. So yes I’m very lucky to already have my son. And I just want a sibling for him so bad! We always said we wanted a small age gap even before he was born but things just don’t go to plan. Aw yes new house coming off the pill. Such a shame you mc 😢 like all of us it’s just so heartbreaking but unfortunately so common! I’m cd 17 today. So if you are cd 23 and 2 days post ovulation if you ovulated day 21 I would say your cycle should be longer than 30 days??? Like I think af should come around 14 days after ovulation so would that make it around a 35 day cycle? Or your luteal phase will be short??? Someone correct me if I’m wrong haha. My cycles have been off post mc. Ranging from 26- 31 days xx

@chloedancer897 that’s a really good point about pain killers, I’ve given up caffeine and alcohol but hadn’t thought about ibuprofen. Will try to stick to paracetamol.

@Mommybear05 yes that sounds right to me about the dates and period being 2 weeks after ovulation. I’m expecting my cycle to be longer now my ovulation isn’t happening when it usually would x

@Renna I'm so sorry about the house it really is so frustrating with everything that is going on but at least you know that the house is still yours and it will happen. I'd try not to worry too much about the mortgage side, hopefully banks will bring themselves back into the market of lower deposit mortgages when things settle towards the end of the year. Are you using help to buy? As heard that scheme is being extended so don't see that one being pulled by the government. I'm really hoping that you just ovulated late and you're definitely not out yet because if cervix is high, closed at soft you may be ovulating now or have ovulated a week or so again, so don't give up with this month x

@Mommybear05 I think the days the sperm is most likely to catch the egg is actually 2 days before ovulation so most likely day before peak is the most important anyway so you've covered it plenty. Got everything crossed this is your month x

@VP91x yeah ring the Drs as they know your situation and then if they don't play ball, try the hospital... hopefully you get a kind nurse or Dr that will run some bloods, I know it sounds awful but you might just want to exaggerate the situation and say you've been spotting for longer 🤔 How are you feeling this morning? How was your temp? x

@SmileyT had a little temp drop this morning, doesn't seem like any spotting atm, but let's see. Just feel like a heaviness really that's about it. Yeah, will definitely call at 8 and then take it from there. How are you this morning? Xx

Ladies, has anyone gotten positive OPKs before/during AF? My pregmate OPKs arrived today and I just peed on one, and both lines are really dark. I'm so confused though because I had the weird bleed this morning (which has mostly disappeared now) and thought that was AF starting up. Is there a second surge in lh before AF? 🤔

@Rainbowhope11 well, this is going to be an annoying answer. Yes, apparently some women do get an LH surge before AF, but also women get positive OPKs when they are pregnant too! Xx

@VP91x this is why I stopped temping. My chart fluctuated even when I was pregnant. That temp drop is only same tho and way above cover line. I think ur still good.

Af is due tomorrow for me and I’ve just done a weeks indicator and it’s showing 2-3 weeks! Is that normal? Last pregnancies I was only 1-2 weeks for about a week after af was late

@Renna sorry about the house. I’m in a similar boat. Starting looking around to buy before covid hit and everything got put on hold. Over covid with my partner losing his job etc and just this week we are starting the mortgage process again but might now have to go about it in just my name which means a reduced value and not the houses we were looking at before. Trying to not let it worry me tho. What will be will be. I’m done stressing and panicking

@VP91x 😂 oh gosh, I guess I'll wait and see. Debating whether to dtd before I go to sleep. My dog is already curled up next to me and fast asleep, I'm feeling bad to kick him out the bed now 🤣

@2020wish that's fab, your HCG levels are nice and high to tip you into the next bracket on the CB🥰 definitely no AF for you!

@2020wish I'm considering stopping temping as well. It's making me over analyze every little detail and when I actually did get pregnant, I wasn't even temping. I just feel like I don't know how to let go of all my tools though 🙈

@VP91x I starting to feel positive for this time. But still cautious. Not going to test anymore daily. Maybe one more weeks indicator close to 5.5/6 weeks to see if it goes to 3+. Ive just no one else to show these things with that understand what we have all went through x I would test come sat anyway if u are still spotting. I’m excited for u to test. Look even if unfortunately af is on her way just take comfort knowing u did ovulate and ur body hasn’t in a few months so it’s getting itself prepared and next month it should be settled and ready to house a baby. But I do have a good feeling for this month for u x

@Rainbowhope11 it’s so hard.. it took me two cycles to finally let go once I started considering it. I found when the month that I did get pregnant and temping every day was so nerve wrecking.. like taking a test every morning and analysing everything. I did take some good things away from it as I got to know my body better and when I actually ovulate after a peak test etc. But overall it just wasn’t for me. This is my first month not temping and I feel so much more relaxed

@Rainbowhope11 @2020wish I know what you mean about the temps it is an underlying stress. If I knew I was definitely ovulating then, I wouldn't bother. If I got a BFP then I'd definitely stop there and then.

@2020wish yeah it's great that your levels already seem so high that's really positive news. Yeah, I'll be 9/10dpo on Saturday so I'll probably test then anyway xx

@2020wish @VP91x yeah, no doubt it's a great help in understanding what our bodies are doing or not doing. I also feel like I was blissfully ignorant prior to temping and just relying on clearblue 😂 I guess I just want that innocence of trying pre MC back (which i know is definitely not possible 🙈)
