@Pugprincess I agree, keep doing one a day in the morning with the exact same brand and see progession. Its been a week right? So things are probably still settling as frustrating as it is 😔 xx

Hi, thanks for the link NorthernSoul90. Hope you don’t mind me joining.
Going through a rough time at the moment and I’m looking to talk to others who have been in the same boat.

Jodiem1990 · 21/07/2020 10:18

Thanks @2020wish and congratulations to u too...

Fingers crossed for u all girls I hope them lines mean positive tests real soon.

Just another quick question is it true that your suppose to add 2 weeks onto a clear blue test result...as mine is saying 2-3 weeks so would that mean I am in fact 4-5 weeks??

Xxx

Jodiem1990 · 21/07/2020 10:20

Welc9me @lkmh I only joined last night and what a great support from a lovely bunch of ladies on here...Please speak to us all about anything xxx

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 10:23

@Jodiem1990 yes you add 2 weeks to the CB weeks.

@LKMH welcome to the group. I'm sure you'll find lots of support here xx

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 10:24

@Northernsoul90 what are your cheapie OPKs showing?

Jodiem1990 · 21/07/2020 10:25

Thanks @MichT4 that really does mean I must of conceived a week after surgery...there is hope for us all ladies Star

LKMH · 21/07/2020 10:25

Thank you. I had a miscarriage earlier this year. Hubby and I have been trying to conceive for a few months without luck.
Our closest friends announced they were expecting over the weekend. We’re over the moon for them but I can’t help but feel
Sad for our us.
I should be grateful because we’re already blessed with a daughter but I can’t help but feel sad about our loss and I can’t get passed the grief.

Jodiem1990 · 21/07/2020 10:31

@LKMH I am so sorry for your loss. Please don't give up hope..I had a normal miscarriage on 22nd may then 2 weeks later they found another baby in my left tube ( meaning I had twinnies) they removed my tube & now 6 weeks later I have just found out I am pregnant again. Everybody's bodies are different so please don't give up hope ...I also am lucky to have a healthy 7 year old but it still doesn't make that grief any easier does it xxx

Northernsoul90 · 21/07/2020 10:32

Welcome @LKMH I hope you find lots of support here 😊 xxx

@MichT4 So the cheapy opks weren't as dark as yesterday (pic attached bottom one is darker) and one was quite a bit darker than the other I should have taken a better photo as you can't really tell from the one I have. This was with fmu though which I know you aren't supposed to use with the cheap ones. It's still confusing though 🥴 I'm guessing the cb is detecting an oestrogen rise and will get a static when it also detects lh surge.

Pugprincess · 21/07/2020 10:34

@LKMH it takes me a moment to be able to feel happy for others I know who announce. I remember my best friend was scared to tell me cause she knows I get upset but once I get over that I’m ok. I tend to have a cry and throw a pity party for myself and then I’m better. Always feel so selfish for being that way but I just can’t help it. It had been 5 years with no pregnancy for me so I found it frustrating when it happened for others quickly and repeatedly. The hardest thing is when they first tell you if it’s face to face and you have to put that false smile and congratulations on but really your lips quivering hearts pounding and you want to cry. Just such a crap feeling 💩

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 10:35

@Jodiem1990 the CB weeks are how many weeks ago you ovulated and conceived, then they add two on for your pregnancy weeks, for some reason. It's amazing how quickly it can happen! Really happy for you, I hope I have the same luck!

@LKMH sorry to hear that. It's always hard when someone else is pregnant, you can't help feel sad. My sister told me she had accidentally got pregnant a few weeks after my MC and it was heartbreaking. There's us trying and it not happening and she did it once and it caught. It seemed so unfair. It helped me to grieve though, as I don't think me or OH had fully processed it until then. I'm happy for her, but I sometimes have to distance myself from the baby chat. I just look forward to the day when it's our turn. And it will be your turn one day too xx

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 10:37

@Northernsoul90 these bloody sticks will drive us all mad I'm sure. I'm watching the clock til I can do mine and have a drink. Don't know why, I'm sure it'll be light, but I feel like it's a big tick to do one and get on with my day 😂

Lollol86 · 21/07/2020 10:40

@Northernsoul90 I'm ok thank you, 4th day of my period and it's finally starting to ease. Just counting down the days until we can try again. Honestly it's all I can think about at the moment. I bet you are so relieved you are finally able to get on with it now?

Lollol86 · 21/07/2020 10:45

@LKMH sorry for your loss and welcome, I'm sure you will find lots of support here.
What you are feeling is completely normal and if you go back you will see we have discussed this so much.
I have a 7 year old, then I had a mc, then I had my 2nd child and have recently mc again. Have hope and know one day you will get your beautiful rainbow baby.

LKMH · 21/07/2020 10:49

@pugprincess I know what you mean. I’m
So sorry for what you’ve also been through. Life can be so cruel.

I kind of expected the news before they announced it so I didn’t completely surprise me. I am happy for them but it just makes me feel sad for our loss. Ours happened at the start of lockdown so it was incredible hard to move past it when we couldn’t do
Anything but stay at home. But I started to feel like I was accepting it then I kept seeing pregnancy announcements everywhere I went. I know it’s something we ha e to learn to accept but now we’re trying to conceive again and it feels like it’s a constant reminder of our loss Everytime my period comes.
I’m trying to stay positive right now and think it’s only been a couple of months.
The waiting game of waiting to see if your period comes or not Is agonising. My heart races so fast the days leading up to when can take the test.
I’m trying to not think about it too much but it consumes me.

LKMH · 21/07/2020 10:57

Thank you! Don’t realise how many woman are in the same boat until you see these forums!! Makes you feel that you’re not alone in this! Xx

VP91x · 21/07/2020 11:03

@Northernsoul90 so your OPKs will go dark/near positive when the CB goes static before then they might fluctuate a bit. Flashy is for the estrogen rise and then static for the LH. Still a pain in the arse though either way! 😂

@LKMH welcome 🥰 sorry for your loss, I hope you feel supported here. Its really hard TTC after a loss, every month is just another disappointing m treadmill of opks, bbt, testing, symptom spotting etc. We all have our moments of real sadness, but we try and keep everyone positive as it will happen for all us again soon❤️

SmileyT · 21/07/2020 11:07

@Pugprincess sorry I forgot how far along were you? I was around 8weeks and the hospital said that I should have a negative test within 3weeks after a week mine was still a really strong line so I wouldn't worry. If you conceived on Saturday it wouldn't have time to nestle in and produce more hcg yet so I also wouldn't worry about that x

@VP91x yeah I self-referred might give them a call today actually as I haven't heard anything 🤔 had such a good sleep last night feel so refreshed and also going to see my friends two week baby tonight, can't wait ☺️ what are you two up to? Not long until you're back at work right x

Pugprincess · 21/07/2020 11:10

@SmileyT yes I was 8 weeks too. I just got my hopes up cause that info I found about hcg from fertilised egg before implantation. I know I’m absolutely clutching at straws and it’s really unlikely so telling myself off for letting my brain go there 😩

Will867 · 21/07/2020 11:11

@LKMH totally understand where you’re so sorry for your loss. We found out my partners sister in law was pregnant 2 days after my mc in may. Still struggle with it. As much as I say I’m happy for them I still feel sad an envious, this will be her second in 2 years and will be due when our first was due. Guess it takes time, I still can’t go with my other half to his mums in case I see them there.

@Pugprincess thought I’d posted in reply to you but not sure it went through. We are going to start doing the same this cycle only dtd twice over ovulation because I wasn’t sure my mc was actually all done with as I still had thick lining but then ovulated. Sorry for your loss and it is frustrating how long these things take; it took nearly 5 weeks and another trip to epau before I got a negative that was the point I still had thick lining and wasn’t sure if the bleeding was period or retained product. It was awful, this one seems to be coming on slower I’m spotting but no proper flow yet.

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 11:14

Just did my opk and got this on femometer 🙄 honestly this is so confusing. After the much lighter ones a couple of days ago, I wasn't expecting this so soon 🤷🏻‍♀️
Femometer has changed ovulation to tomorrow - think it needs to calm down 😂

Pugprincess · 21/07/2020 11:15

@Will867 ah I see. I won’t be surprised if I end up going back 😩 I know from my scan during mc my lining was 9mm thick as says on my notes. I read between 8 and 15 is normal and good for implantation. I also read not looking after yourself sleep exercise and diet wise can cause lining to be thinner and could have been a reason I didn’t get preg until lockdown. Suddenly I wasn’t working, sleeping plenty etc. My body had a proper rest xx
