@blodyn91 there are select places that will lend on land but not conventional mortgages and you sometimes you need experience renovating to get them (they are aimed more as developers) and tend to be much more expensive as they are much riskier, in case you run out of money while renovating etc. With a bog standard high street mortgage you will need the property to be habitable so kitchen and bathroom with running water but there are specialist lenders out there so definitely worth investigating if it could work for you. Most people will use the specialist lenders short term until they get the basic amenities in then move it across to a normal lender to reduce monthly cost. So nice to be able to start from scratch with a property though and if you can get the cash to do it then it'll be your perfect home as you design everything xx

@blodyn91 yes I believe so, has to gas some sort of kitchen & running water & bathroom facilities to get a mortgage you'd have to buy cash & get those up and running but @smileyT obviously best placed to comment. Sounds fab though & I totally believe you gotta pursue these things when you can especially with stables & land. We are viewing a house today and getting ours valued tomorrow just in case cos of the stamp duty thing etc. Will be interesting to know what ours is worth after we designed the interior ourselves & it's a bit quirky but we want a bit of land too for the dogs.

@zippityzip some do get squinter this early but personally I think leave a another 2 days if u can. Get low sensitivity ones. Like 10mlU .

CD28 here and we didn't manage to DTD on peka day yesterday 😑 as I mentioned, OH seemed to be on his period, but when he got home and explained the day he'd had it was completely justifiable! I will see how he's feeling after work today (femometer is actually saying OV day is today) but if not, we might just have to go without the icing on the cake to coin @SmileyT'S phrase!

@Vil10 I started using preseed last month but to be honest I only remembered to actually use it one time haha. It was really easy though, it comes with applicators etc and you can do it discreetly about 10 mins or so before so it doesn't ruin the moment. I didn't even tell OH about it before hand and he couldn't tell ☺️ no idea if it actually helps but it has good reviews online and thought it wouldn't hurt to try x

CD10 here and another ⭕️ on CB this morning but I've decided to propose the idea of DTD every day for the next 3 days as OV is predicted for Saturday / Sunday but we're out (separately) on Saturday. So 3 days and then a bonus on Sunday 🤞🏻

Awww I feel you @2alreadywantanother. Tbh that's why I tend to go MIA for about a week ish from af and sometimes during the 1st week of the TWW... I just find stepping away from the thread & not focusing on where I am in my cycle makes time go a bit faster.
But I'm doing okay, thanks for asking. Started back taking pregnacare conception tablets this cycle. I stopped because I thought it was making my cycles longer but actually that as stress related so I've gone back to them PLUS I realised they have pretty much all then nutrient supplementation I was looking into except for the high vitamin C... So in also take an extra 500mg vitamin C on top of the 90mg in the pregnacare. It's not quite 750mg in the study I looked at but it's close enough.
How are things with you @2alreadywantanother?

Bless you @lucyrp I know how long cycles feel (my longest was 69days) and its awful. I actually managed to get blood tests & a scan to check my ovaries on the back of that very long cycle.... So I'm glad they're going to get some bloods done. Hopefully a step in the right direction for you 🤞🏻

@SmileyT @Minster2012 thanks, have read a lot about mortages this morning on renovating projects so sort of got my head around it. Did you move in with in laws Minster? or have a caravan on site? Going to call to enquire today as no price up on individual lots just the whole estate, as much as I would live to buy the whole farm, 4 million is a bit off budget 😆🙈

@vil10 we use preseed, that was the lube he was referring too, we will use it as a "normal lube" now, not always use the applicator cos you can drown in the stuff like last night just use it like a normal lube really but it's good stuff

@2alreadywamtanother I actually don't mind the ass fruit, try pomegranate juice with it, ass fruit juice plus ass fruit juice makes it nicer! 🤷‍♀️and most ppl start using the ICs around day 8 or so from 11am or 12pm then one later...@blodyn91 is good with them?

@blodyn91 ours was a bit different, we bought a finished "barn conversion" as a house from a builder, so the builder was buying the barns from a local estate who were selling them as a barn with planning permission already in place to the builder (who is well known here & a customer of my DH) & we put a deposit down on the finished property at a preagreed price (which we then added more to up spec the interior) So we were in a 2 up 2 down cottage, which we sold before completion & moved into in laws yes for the last 4 months as our cottage sold quicker than we thought, but only had to put down the deposit initially & we then changed 3 windows including a gable end, and chose absolutely everything, did all electrics, including using the old barn doors as our interior doors so they are all wonky & weird sizes.

@vil10 @2alreadywantanother I've used preseed and apply it before DTD so OH is oblivious. I think the recommended amount per the instructions is a bit much though so never use more than 2ml lest my moister than oyster turns into the ocean!

I stopped using it the last few cycles though after upping my evening primrose oil, grapefruit juice and omega 3 really worked on my EWCM, making pre-seed redundant.

And yes @Blodyn91 this one today is just a bigger "done" barn in a different village with big garden but none or our lovely beams. But on its own plot whereas we are overlooked by a bigger barn next door. But not as good a village as ours. But I know the feeling, we know there's a big house coming onto the market in our village soon with a paddock so we want to know just in case...but that would be the "forever home" IF we could ever afford it. And we keep saying IF we don't have another child it's not worth it really 😔

@Minster2012 I rang to book my blood tests this morning and the earliest they offered me was in 3 weeks time 😂 so I had to explain thag actually I need it done sooner because it's to see what's going on this cycle and by then I'm hoping il be in a new cycle 😂 but I still have to wait until next Tuesday for these blood tests so I'm still hoping something will have happened by then 🙈 I'm not looking forward to cramps I've completely forgotten what they feel like as I haven't had them for 60 odd days 😂 fingers crossed it starts soon for you!
