@Northernsoul90 yay so wine it is tmr then with home delivered Roka food💖
@MichT4 thank you! Hope you can also do something nice on the weekend xx

Emsnewmum · 17/07/2020 17:37

@chloedancer897

Did you have a period before this one as it probably would have come out with that ( but I'm no expert)

You could email the misscarriage association they are amazing and respond fast if your worried although they dont open weekends.

But honestly it can be totally normal to pass tissue in periods as it could just be the lining of your uterous shedding as normal, could be a bigger piece than normal and because you are super away you are noticing it!

Try to relax if you can and if you see more maybe call your epu for advice.

X

chloedancer897 · 17/07/2020 17:42

@Emsnewmum yes I've had one period since the MC. You're right I think I'm just hyper aware. I've just never seen that before. Thanks so much x

VP91x · 17/07/2020 17:43

@chloedancer897 oh god, I have no idea I've not had that before. Why don't you ring the GP anyway and they can see you? I would get checked out regardless xx

OP posts:
chloedancer897 · 17/07/2020 17:44

@2020wish tentative congrats! I really hope this is it for you xx

chloedancer897 · 17/07/2020 17:45

@VP91x the GP has been less than helpful tbh. I'm going to ring my consultant who saw me at the start and see if he will scan me x thanks guys x

Emsnewmum · 17/07/2020 17:47

@chloedancer897
Your very welcome, of course it's perfectly reasonable for you to be hyper aware I'm the same for sure, we've all been through so much its hard not to worry about every little thing.

I think our bodies work so hard silently and it's not till something goes wrong that we stop trusting it and we pick up on every little thing that usually wouldnt worry us. That's my case anyway! But the more I look into things the more I realise how hard our bodies work to recover for us to try again x

chloedancer897 · 17/07/2020 17:48

@Emsnewmum what a fantastic way of looking at things. That's exactly how I feel. I need to start trusting my body again x

MichT4 · 17/07/2020 17:57

@Emsnewmum that is a lovely way to look at it. I was just stood in boots (then Superdrug, then Tesco) looking at supplements and I decided to step away and trust my body. It’s hard, because you hear about all these vitamins, and I’m sure they are useful, but the amount of stuff I’m taking in to ‘correct’ my body is crazy. You’re right, our bodies work hard to do what they need to so I’m going to stick with what I take and let it do it’s thing.
Like @SmileyT said, a lot of these things take 3 months to have an effect, so I might as well hold out for my blood tests, then they can tell me exactly what I need anyway.
Slightly off topic for why you said it, but a helpful reminder I think

@chloedancer897 I hope you get through to your consultant. I’m sure it’s just something you’d not have noticed as the others said. Or maybe it’s a bit of tissue that had to come out so you are reset totally. I hope you’re ok anyway.

@VP91x I never thought that about the testers 🙄. I came away with a couple of face masks and dry shampoo - my hair is terrible at the mo and I’m too lazy to wash it every day. So I’m going to make OH do a face mask with me later or tomorrow 😂

SmileyT · 17/07/2020 17:58

@littletandme sorry that this happened, but I'm glad you are staying positive for next month x

@2020wish really hope your line progresses over the next few days x

Good luck @fafi 🤞

@Firevie sounds like a lovely way to celebrate ☺️ I find it so interesting how different each persons experience is, I went back to work in the office definitely didn't self-isolate, didn't get told not to have sex, nothing about drinking (I was drinking a shit tonne 😂) and had no follow up at all... they didn't even give me a pregnancy test to check 🤔

@chloedancer897 oh I hate when new stuff happens in our bodies and we don't know what's going on, I have really heavy periods and often get quite thick tissue, I may be wrong but I thought if an egg was fertilised it would just pass in a period the same way as an infertilised egg. Definitely worth talking to your Consultant if you are concerned though, better to ask. Did you get anything nice done at the hairdressers?

@VP91x sounds like you had a super productive day, how was Bellas? Can't believe how warm it randomly got today 😎

chloedancer897 · 17/07/2020 18:00

@SmileyT you're probably right. I just think I'm hyper aware. I just got a well overdue colour. The greys were crazy!

@MichT4 you're so right. I'm just going to trust my body a bit more. Such good advice from @Emsnewmum x

Northernsoul90 · 17/07/2020 18:05

@chloedancer897 Don't panic, I don't think it will be anything sinister it's normal to pass small amounts of tissue/clots especially after mc. Maybe take a pic of it continues and show your GP if you are concerned. Also I don't think fertilised eggs can be seen with the naked eye my friend has recently had IVF and you couldn't see the 5 day embryo without a microscope. Isn't everything such a worry after mc! I think we notice things as well that previously we wouldn't have given a second thought. Xx

VP91x · 17/07/2020 18:06

@MichT4 I always forget to do my face maks, I've been using hyaluronic acid and some retinols on my face when I remember and the odd bit of face oil. I need to start exfoliating my arms and legs more, Im terrible at bothering!

@SmileyT I can't believe how hot it got, I was sanding that stupid door and regretting it 😩. How was your day? Bella had a good day, couple more accidents but overall successful.Xx

OP posts:
Firevie · 17/07/2020 18:06

@SmileyT thanks yes def v different. I’m also working though from home as have been for the past four months but yes went straight back into it again on Wednesday. But yes have been told no sex and I have a follow up. I was running every day before all this happened but have been at home not running since we found out about the MC but I’m really itching to start again. May just start slowly and go for a long power walk tmr. Want to give my body the rest it deserves also. Xxx

MichT4 · 17/07/2020 18:13

@VP91x I’m rubbish too. I was stood in there thinking I should know what more of this stuff is, and should be using it, but I’m just forgetful with it. And I change my mind all the time. I have about 5 shampoos in the bathroom because I decide I don’t like it 🙄
I also bought feet masks weeks ago and haven’t done those either.

@SmileyT were you in town today? Must have been a hot old commute!

Lollol86 · 17/07/2020 18:47

@MichT4 I had a pedicure the other day and had all the dead skin taken off. My feet feel amazing.
Ive never used a foot mask before,
I’ve been too scared as I see horror stories about feet just not stopping shredding for weeks 🤣🤣

SmileyT · 17/07/2020 18:56

@chloedancer897 honestly you can't beat a hairdressers visit, I always walk out feeling great however shitty the day has been. And definitely get on the Pom juice and calc flour, can't do any harm 👌🏾

@VP91x glad Bella is getting on with her potty training, I don't think a couple accidents is bad at all, bless her. Work wouldn't have been so bad if we were allowed air con on but because of COVID and air circulation we have it off so it was so stuffy. And annoyingly I left the house with very hairy legs under my tights as didn't look at the weather and honestly felt like I was going to faint on the tube back, so yeah not a great commute @MichT4 🙈 hope you're both good x

@Firevie sounds like you are being very well looked after so that's definitely a good thing. I found work a nice distraction after the surgery actually, otherwise I think I would've spent all day crying. I was a proper gym bunny before my MC but it was the day before lockdown so feel like I'm so out of routine, definitely get out again for a walk at least when you think your body is ready I'm sure it'll make you feel good x

Anyone testing this weekend? xx

Firevie · 17/07/2020 19:02

@SmileyT thank you! Yes I will start going for power walks tomorrow and will start my yoga and pilates routine again! Also, have seen some of you talking about so I have added Pom and grapefruit juice to my weekly shop. So, I will get drinking these juices haha xxx

VP91x · 17/07/2020 19:22

@MichT4 😂😂 I do a similar thing or I have months when I will buy everything and then use it twice and forget 🙈

@SmileyT ooh no that's awful, I didn't think about air con. Surely when it gets this hot that doesn't make sense. Hopefully a cool shower and lots of iced drinks will get you feeling better. Yeah, I'm so pleased with how she had got on, she's not a baby anymore 😭xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 17/07/2020 19:25

@SmileyT oh no, sounds horrendous! The tube is hot enough, let alone in tights in this weather. Glad you are home now so you can strip off and put your feet up.

So I’ve managed to bookmark a couple of posts because I’m ridiculous and now it keeps defaulting to those posts 😤
Any clues how I stop it?

I have meat in the fridge that needs cooking but I really want a takeaway. Seems wasteful. What’s everyone having? xx

SmileyT · 17/07/2020 19:33

@VP91x yeah feeling much better now at home nice and cool with the fan on ☺️ how old is Bella? x

@MichT4 are you on the app? I always bookmark the last post i do and then it'll take you to there when you log on, so you don't have to find where you got up to but if you don't like it swipe left on whatever is bookmarked and you can press the bookmark button to 'unbookmark' no idea if you are on the web version, sorry 😐 Dinner is salmon pasta for me 😊 why don't you cook the meat and have it tomorrow? Xx

MichT4 · 17/07/2020 19:40

@SmileyT you have read OH’s mind. He just said the same, think he wants take away. I’m feeling lazy
I love salmon, but OH doesn’t like it so I rarely have it.
Thank you! I’ll download the app as I’m using the web on my phone like an old lady xx

MichT4 · 17/07/2020 19:40

@SmileyT great idea to bookmark your last post! xx

VP91x · 17/07/2020 19:43

@MichT4 I do what @SmileyT does bookmark my last post, I use the Web version too I didn't get along with the app. Ooh what takeaway are you having? Think we are going to have chicken in breadcrumbs. So boring 😩

@SmileyT sounds fab, she is 2.5 🥰 xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 17/07/2020 19:48

@VP91x I am now on the app but I'm not sure how I feel about it 😂. I might be on the web one again soon.

We are going to have Chinese - so naughty.

Bella sounds like a trooper doing so well with potty training. Is she a mini you or a mini OH? xx
