I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...

@MrsBtobe2020 sounds about right? I found the cheap ones easy to use. I use the free Femometer app which has a bit where you take a pic of the stick and it interprets it for you but even without that mine are really obvious when they get to peak. Pretty much low every day, one day of sl high, one day peak then drop back down

@LT103 oh good! I have the femometer app but it is easy to tell that the line has become much clearer 🤞

@MrsBtobe2020 that’s mine for this week. I seem to get a really obvious peak so it is easy to tell.

Officially giving up on July and moving over here. AF showed up on Monday (bang on midnight between Sun/Mon!) and at first I was trying to convince myself it was IB as it was about 4/5 days early and it has been very weird. (TMI: pretty light by my standards, not enough for a tampon and if I added it all up, barely enough to fill 1 pad so far. A mix of red and dark brown) But as time has gone on and a few tests later I'm thinking it is just AF, albeit a weird one. So here we go again! CD 3, O due around 6th Aug I think.

We've just booked a weekend away next weekend for my birthday which just so happens to be right around when I should be ovulating so hopefully get chance for plenty of BD 😁

@whambam89 100%!! It's so frustrating! Unfortunately, OH is away right over my window in August!! So annoying but life has to continue and who knows, I never seem to ovulate when I think, so maybe we won't miss it!

I got another static smiley on today's test. I'm guessing I'll ovulate tomorrow or maybe later today (?) as that was when I ovulated last week. The only thing I'm wondering is I woke up ridiculously bloated. I know bloating is common after ovulation but does anyone get it before ovulation? If I'm still getting a peak, I'm guessing I haven't actually ovulated yet?

I’m being a brat and refusing to go in again today. I need a break from the hospital, plus oh is back at work.

I have to ring them in an hour, & hopefully they’ll say it’s safe for me to take a day off to lick my wounds.

I’m trying to focus on rainbow babies but it’s hard today

@kirinm With the CB Advanced kit your static smiley stays for 48 hours - is this the one you're using? Hope you can get to it 😉

@LeopardLover no mine are just the standard CB ones. I'm not sure how long the static stays but does it mean that ovulation happens once the static is gone? Yep we are DTD. Determined to cover all relevant days this month!

For those who are tracking the cheapy OPKs and using an app, what sort of number is considered a 'peak'?
I had a 1.2 last night but then down to 0.7 this morning and my app now says I've peaked. I think Ov is still a day or two away... but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ still dtd everyday.

Any experience of reading the numbers is welcome!

@leopardlover I think starting from CD10 should be fine, don't know how anyone has the energy to start at cd8 hahaha

CD6 for me today, I ovulated CD17 last month so think I'll start with CB sticks at CD12. We're away CD16 & CD17 child free so 🤞🤞

Hey guys I posted earlier in the group and been a lurker for a while. I wonder what you guys think.. I tested on Cb digital opk yesterday pm and got a negative. This morning got negative on a cheapie and this afternoon got static smiley on Cb digital! I haven't had any flashing smileys at all.. I double checked it with a cheapie and its negative. So confused. Are the digital more sensitive? How come it went straight to peak with no highs?! Anyone else had this?

Also my cm is still quite creamy...I'm CD 13. Any thoughts?

@ARIO this may be a stupid question but is it an advanced clear blue? The ones I'm using don't do flashing ones so it's straight from blank to peak for me too. Are you testing at the same time of day?

Hi @ARIO. I use the CB digitals. Some months I go straight from negative to static smileys and other months I have flashing smileys for a couple of days before the static. Can’t explain it.
I try to test around the same time every day.
