Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

@MrsKey2020 hi! I welcome! I absolutely recommend the opk’s.

MrsKey2020 · 11/07/2020 19:41

@Sansa87 thank you! I'm looking at getting the Femometer ones ? Are they any good?

I wasn't as impressed with the femometer ones as I was the wandfo ones from Amazon. The femometer ones never seemed to give me a peak (tested the same urine with each test)

Sansa87 · 11/07/2020 20:32

I used the cb advanced digital last month, & did the job, so going to stick when the trying again after the doctor confirms miscarriage on the 20th

BuckleUp · 11/07/2020 20:59

@MrsKey2020 I track BBT and currently don't use anything else. BBT only confirms ovulation so if you're cycle isn't regular, or you haven't got a few months previous data, then you might benefit from using OPKs

claireb707 · 11/07/2020 21:06

I use the cb digital advanced and the wandfo ones

kirinm · 11/07/2020 21:47

I'm going to go with the CB advanced although I do ovulate fairly early so I'm guessing I'll get flashing smilies quite quickly. I think we will need to DTD more this month. Tired just thinking about it!

MrsBtobe2020 · 11/07/2020 22:14

Hello everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining! Currently on third cycle although I only came off the pill in May. Naively hoped it would all happen fairly quickly but actually was v happy when AF arrived naturally after 30 days of stopping...I've bought femometer strips so fingers crossed for August!

kirinm · 11/07/2020 23:07

I've started spotting so officially CD01 tomorrow. Here we go again 🤞🏻

Sansa87 · 12/07/2020 00:19

I’ve never had a miscarriage before, I haven’t had any what I would call heavy bleeding, just consistent light bleeding and cramps the last 7 days.

Today just brown blood, and only a pink tinge when I wipe. Not sure if that means it’s happened, or still needs to happen.

I’m regretting not getting cheap opk’s... I don’t know If I’m considered to be on 7th day of cycle, or if I’m still waiting... will I ovulate next weekend, I have the scan on the Monday, can I start ttc before scan?

This is so hard and complicated!

kirinm · 12/07/2020 07:43

@Sansa87 you will need to take a pregnancy test I think. It can take a while for you hCG levels to drop. With my losses around 6-7weeks I did bleed like a period. With my later loss, I had an ERPC so very little bleeding.

duckii · 12/07/2020 08:30

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining. AF started yesterday so now I am on cycle 3 of trying. I have long cycles so next AF is 21st August and ovulation around 6th August. Another long wait for me Sad

claireb707 · 13/07/2020 06:51

Cycle 12 day 1 😢😢😢

kirinm · 13/07/2020 07:18

Sorry to hear that @claireb707

I'm now CD2. My body has made up for my lack of AF symptoms during the TWW.

ARIO · 13/07/2020 07:44

Morning all, may I join?
I'm TTC number 2 and this is my 2nd cycle of trying. Currently on cd4 and due to ovulate around 23rd July and AF due 6th August.

I plan on using OPKs this month and following the SMEP plan. Has anyone else tried this! X

5rosebud · 13/07/2020 07:57

Morning Smile
I'd like to join please. Will be TTC for the first time this month x

MrsBtobe2020 · 13/07/2020 08:00

@ARIO I've got similar dates to yours! I'm going to try opks this month as it's cycle 3. I hope I finally see something positive on a stick haha

ARIO · 13/07/2020 08:03

@MrsBtobe2020 we got this 💪💪

MrsKey2020 · 13/07/2020 08:12

@ARIO @MrsBtobe2020 my dates are very similar to yours too! @ARIO I tried SMEP when trying to conceive my daughter and conceived first try! After 14 months of trying xx

ARIO · 13/07/2020 08:16

Ah its great to find people with similar dates to go through it all with. That's good to hear @MrsKey2020 x

kirinm · 13/07/2020 09:29

Thinking slightly ahead but with the last few days of driving myself crazy still in my head, I don't think I'm going to buy any pregnancy tests (shocking I know). I don't know how I'll feel about that decision by 9-10dpo but a negative test doesn't do me any favours mentally and it also means I spend most of my working day googling or looking for lines that aren't there.

I think I'll ovulate around CD12 again so 23/07 and AF will be due around 6 August.

ARIO · 13/07/2020 09:32

@kirinm I'm similar dates. I'm following SMEP.. They say no testing until 13dpo so planning to do that and no earlier!!

BuckleUp · 13/07/2020 09:32

Welcome @ARIO @MrsBtobe2020 @5rosebud @LuckyFlash @Rumples @RMarieClaire

Sorry to hear AF arrive @duckii @claireb707 @kirinm

After seeing some BFPs on the last thread I'm excited to see what this month may bring for us. Sprinkling baby dust ✨

Sansa87 · 13/07/2020 09:39

Good morning... this is exactly what I needed to wake up to.

Didn’t seem to bleed over night, so hopefully coming to an end now.

August - might be a pact....might be madness
SS123456 · 13/07/2020 09:41

Please can I join you for August ladies? CD1 of cycle 9 TTC for me and feeling really despondent now 😔. I feel so rubbish off of the pill and don't know how much longer I can take of the hormonal ups and downs, weeing in pots, and sore boobs for 2 weeks of every month

I should be due to ovulate on 27/07 and AF will be due around 09/08
