Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

@kirinm yes it is. It flashes for high and static smileynfor peak. Testing around lunch time every day though have done some extras with the Internet cheapies as well.

How did your phone call go @Sansa87?

@ario the CB advanced digital ones are designed to be used with FMU so that could be why if you're testing with it around lunchtime? I read some reviews when I ordered it stating to make sure you were using it as per instructions to get most accurate results - are there 2 strong lines one the test when you take it out of the holder?

Thanks guys. The control line is still darker than the other so it's all a bit strange. Internet cheapie in the same urine is also negative. Oh well.. I'll just bd the next 3 days and maybe continue testing with the cheapies. Thanks for your responses x

It's all just soo confusing! We dtd anyway to cover ourselves and will do the next 2 days.

I think it's good to count each month individually. Assuming my test was correct Ive got my peak today at CD 13 but last month I got my peak at cd17. Although I have read its possible to have 2 lh surges in one cycle 🤔

Fairly sure I’ve ovulated today. Peak opk yesterday and this morning and now it’s back to just high. Cramping and tiny bit spotting this morning which I usually get at ovulation. This is cd14. Dtd 9, 10, 11 and 12. Oh been away so didn’t manage yesterday or today. He’s home later so I’ll see how he feels. Hoping we’re covered ok with what we’ve done so far as not sure it will happen later. 2ww starts here 🙈

@LT103 gotta love the TWW (said no woman ever TTC). I’m on CD18 and trying not to symptom spot.

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet I know, I googled every little thing last month and tested from about 9 dpo. This month I back at work thankfully so that should keep me distracted enough I hope!

@LT103 3 days in a row?! Blimey! You guys deserve a medal 😂 oh and I managed 3 times in fertile window last time. We managed 2 days in a row, but it was not fun!

Fingers crossed for you @LT103. Ive been doing smep so dtd CD 10 and 12 then had peak reading today (cd13) so doing today and the next 2 days aswell! If we have enough energy!! Then let the dreaded 2ww commence 💪💪

Argh! I should be DTD as had a peak today but DD didn't nap with her childminder, is overtired, screaming and very very awake! Think we are going to miss our chance this month ffs.

@kirinm Ugh, what a pain. Hopefully you've already done enough? It only takes one go!

Hope everyone is doing ok and not suffering too much dtd exhaustion.
We've managed to dtd most days since Friday and If I'm lucky I may persuade OH to continue to the weekend. We'll probably be done for a while then. 🤣🤣

@kirinm Don't worry about it, what will be will be! We've only managed to DTD twice in my fertile week this cycle, and we don't have screaming toddlers! Don't be hard on yourself.

My BBT has finally detected ovulation (a day or so later than usual), so think I'm now 3dpo. The later ovulation day have pushed my predicted AF to 1st Aug now, so properly in the August group 😆

Morning! I had my bbt spike this morning so think my ovulation may have happened during the night, I woke up with some pain around 3am. I had my peak reading yesterday so I guess that makes sense. We dtd last night. Ideally would have done it this morning. We'll go again tonight hopefully.

@kirinm ah that's annoying. How olds your DD? I have a 2 year old so dtd can only occur once she's in bed. It's not easy is it!

@ARIO sounds like it. Welcome to the 2ww! I got my peak on Tuesday and had cramps and a tiny amount of spotting yesterday morning. Thought we were done with dtd with last time being Monday as oh was away for work and home late but managed to squeeze it in last night so we can’t say we haven’t covered our bases this month. It’s up to luck now!

I managed to get her to sleep and woke up DP! Then she slept horrendously for the rest of the night so I've had about 4 hours sleep .

@ARIO she's nearly 2 but she is still in with us as we are working on her room so it's hard even when she is asleep!
