Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Tiff94 I will do im confused as to whether it is a positive or a negative as there is a line but uts not strong its a bit faint? It could be as I started cramping Monday but it would have been a bit early 😬 I guess time will tell! We dtd last night too but im sure the OH won't complain 🤣🤣

@Jemmy94 you are fertile otherwise it would be low I would say your on the coming down side of your LH surge but just test to be sure if it goes up then you might ovulate later xx best of luck to you

@Tiff94 Hmm I will definitely do it again later tonight and see what it says 😊 Thank you! It will certainly help me pin point when I'm actually ovulating 😊

@Jemmy94 that's exactly what I did last week I found I ovulated on Thursday

@Tiff94 Its such a mind game 🙈 Did you have much in symptoms?

@Jemmy94 I always get EWCM and pains before hand haven't had any symptoms this week apart from being sick in the weekend.

@Tiff94 Do you think the sickness was due to ovulating? I do keep getting heart burn, and pains and a bit of EWCM 🤔

@Jemmy94 not 100% sure felt nauseous all morning then had awful migraine that ended up with me vomiting and then sleeping half the day. Woke up felt better not sure what it was

@Tiff94 Sounds awful ☹ I hate migrains!

@Jemmy94 hey! I did OPKs for the first time this month and did find it a bit confusing. It's only positive if the test line is darker than the control line, it's not unusual to always have faint lines. I found I consistently got between 10-15% on the app for 9 days before ovulation so I think that might just be my norm level. Though it was very clear when I had a positive as it was really dark and app said 200%. Then according to BBT I ovulated the day after so it did work for me.

@Jemmy94 this is what mine looked like. I started manually marking anything below 20% as low as I only really got highs. I also missed a day then luckily caught the surge on the 9th!

@Alice222 Thats do helpful! (I don't know how to attach pictures) my lines are definitely not darker than the control line but then maybe I'm heading towards ovulation? I have a few symptoms 🙈 so confusing! My first two today look like your 17:40 one from 5th of July xx

@Jemmy94 yes maybe you are. If you are getting symptoms I agree with tiff94 that you should test again and see if it gets lighter or darker to see if you are leading up to it or not

@Tiff94 when are you thinking of testing? I apparently ovulated 6 days ago according to flow and it's correct with period etc however I had more ewcm yesterday and day before! So was really confused also had cramps and sickness so now I'm so confused! Due period in 8 days! If you ovulate twice in a cycle does it usually happen at the same time? Like two eggs jaha god confused

@lastbany I'm holding off til testing until Monday might do one Sunday morning. I'm 7Dpo today I started having mild cramps last night before bed and throughout the night it was like a slight discomfort in my lower abdomen region. Have you got any opks I've read that you can ovulate a second time If the first didn't work your body will signal a second ovulation. Maybe try testing if you have any opks. I'm not sure what it could be I only ever get EWCM at ovulation time I've got a thick creamy CM atm myself. It does make it very confusing. I find a lot of things about TTC confusing I never would have thought.

@Tiff94 no I haven't as because our baby little we sort of just thought when it happens it happens then of course you become obsessed!! Well I'll just wait and see we have pretty much dtd every other day all month so can't do much more than tht lol

@lastbany that's exactly right. Myself and DH said we would just see what happens to. Here I am so obsessed over it now haha. I try not to put pressure on him, he gets enough stress from work, haha that's why I'm on here talking with all you... 🙊

@Tiff94 that's it! Haha well I'm gonna test Monday too but mines a cheapo test it's just one I have left so will try we tht before and if meg will wait till period!

@lastbany I will use that same just a couple cheap ones until day of AF if she doesn't arrive then I will use the FRER I just ordered.

@Tiff94 let's hope conception sisters too!!! Is it your first did you say? This is my 4th and will be last as will be my 4th section last one only 7months ago! I'm eager to get preg due to a few reasons work been one! But I have awful births have everyone also pregnancies so I'm excited but scared too x

@lastbany yes this will be my first. I think that's why I'm probably so obsessive over it haha 😂 I feel like I've been ready to be a mum for quite sometime but DH hadn't got there yet 😂 fingers crossed this whole group will become conception sisters this month 🤞 hopefully this next pregnancy will be nice and easy for you. My sister had bad pregnancy with both her girls but a smooth with her son.

Anyone having any symptoms today??

I started out last night having mild pulling feelings In my abdomen, been feeling this all days alone with other weird sensations and also having heart palpitations this afternoon. Not sure if it's related or not but that's what you with me what about everyone else ? Anything ?
