Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Tiff94 what ovulation tests did you use. Ever other day until you know sounds like a good plan!

I even used an ovulation stocks as a pregnancy test it it worked too haha 😂 the detect both hormones

I usually order from amazon but my mums amazon and Alexa is linked to my account and so it notifies them everything we buy! Haha fingers crossed I won't need caus no idea why af not here but too scared to test just gonna keep waiting

@lastbany if AF does arrive (fingers crossed 🤞 it doesn't) I will send you my left overs I have heaps haha 😂

Any positives this morning ladies ? How many days have so if you got left before testing ??

@Tiff94 haha! Still no AF but I've still not tested well have none anyway lol trying not too I think last week saw so many negatives I just can't do it again! Even though they were all crap cheapos! I'm 4 days late now! Strange x

@lastbany when will you plan to test?
I am 1 day away from AF, normally day before my boobs are super painful, but they are just well sensitive. So more likely that AF is on it's way. I got sick of testing so waiting for AF now. Not holding out any hope, just have this feeling we did not time it right

I am not due on till Saturday and I already have the AF ache in my tummy 🙁 trying not to symptom spot as I have felt pretty normal until now but I am also really hot all the time. Just hope AF stays away anyone else had anything similar and got a BFP?

@Milliemoo222 I dunno! I started testing from last wed (I thought was 14dpo) but actually I ovulated on day 18 with my last baby so prob implanted around day 20 so I would have only been a week I am now 4 days late on af part of me wants to buy a "expensive " test but I can't I can't see another negative! I dunno what to do tbh! Don't know why would be so late!

@lastbany I've also heard some women's tests don't show positive to almost a week after AF so you could be this this time.

@Tiff94 ye maybe fingers crossed!! When I read the "early" tests I bought they actually said from first day kissed period! So weren't early ones at all so if I ovulated later bloody hell no chance I can't see why else could be why I'm 4 days late! It's hard not to test but partner at work so has car all week apart from Friday when I have it to pick up shopping etc so I don't think I can get a test till Friday! So by then if I am pregnant they should be showing haha! Unless I sneak off one night when baby in bed and partner has baby 😂😂

Couldn't help myself!! Took another cheapo still negative! Do I don't know what's going off

@lastbany oh that is annoying! Maybe take a few days off testing and try and distract yourself (easier said than done i know!)
Might just need to wait until 7 days missed AF maybe?
I think I am out, I feel a few twinges, hot as hell and bfn 13dpo... I give up!

@Milliemoo222 I've felt on off cramps all way through there back today but dunnonof you saw what I put before ? But with all my pregnancies before I've had cramps all way through bleeding just never started! Ye I have a 7 month old so I'm busy lol and local shop only sell these crap ones I just can't believe at 4 days late there wouldn't be the faintest thing!! My friend said I need to buy a expensive one but kills me to pay it to be neg!! Haha

@lastbany ah thank you, no had not seen these comments. I just have a feeling that is me out though. I have been like clockwork since settled down after first month off pill, but i just don't have much faith this month, kinda disappointed really, but there are other times!
You do sound busy! Not sure about getting expensive ones though as sometimes these are less sensitive earlier on. Can you ask doctors for a test? 4 days is a while, maybe your levels are just not high enough yet? I have already spend way too much! So frustrating just not knowing either way!
Wish oh was thinking about it half as much as I am!

@Milliemoo222 probably but by time I get app af will have arrived or I'll know I'm preg lol I know your mind hoise on Uber drive even when you try not to!! Ye it's strange lol

@lastbany can you do an amazon prime order they had cheap FRER last week thats were I got mine they were delivered the next day. Hopefully some enlightenment for you soon.

@Milliemoo222 fee you on the OH. Imagine if they all we're talking about it on a forum and googling every symptom! 😂

My OH said he heard me open the pregnancy test yesterday morning and got excited and said he was gutted when AF came but I don't feel it completely consumes his mind like it does mine! Oh to switch roles for a day!

@Tiff94 no not really my mum has our amazon account and uses it for her Alexa and so it notifys haha and don't want them knowing yet! I'm gonna drive to shop tonight stuff it! I looked back and I tested the day before my period on a frer (with last baby) and it was the faintest line! So I'm thinking it's best way to go x

@beckyBP hahahaha imagine! I was talking last night about making sure we get it spot on next month, the response was just tell me when and I will be there! Hahahahaha very much less consumption of thoughts but then I guess it is our bodies so makes sense!

@Milliemoo222 yeah you're spot on! I wish I could be more chilled about it.

I feel like I'm working with timelines. We're meant to be getting married in sept (was originally June) but I don't think that will happen. I don't want to arrange for a time I could be heavily pregnant or just given birth as want time to get my body back!! But all this is just putting more pressure on myself 😫 x
