The last 2 cycles when I've had Ewan it's been really stretchy and quite a lot but like a very very pale yellow/cream colour because I was thinking oh it's night egg white or clear like everyone else's, but I deffo don't have an infection and there's nothing wrong with me so I think it's just different for every woman!

Well af showed up today whilst on a walk! I'm not surprised at all and I don't feel upset or gutted because I knew, I am so happy though that I haven't been in half as much pain as last month, must mean my periods are used to being off the pill now! So Cd1 of cycle 3, I'm not sure whether to take a more relaxed approach this cycle, no seeds no ass juice no Brazil nuts, I might only even do 1 opk around when I've been ovulating just to check then just DTD as we normally would everyday and see what happens! If I catch this month my unborn baby could be coming on it's first holiday to Marbella🌞

@SmileyT so hard holding off on the testing isn’t it! Yes it probably is just after ovulation. It looks normal just very pale yellow against the tissue.

I've reached new working from home lows over here, went on a teams call with my hair unbrushed and zero make up on just glasses to try and hide some of my face. Also didn't have a bra on 🙃🙃 think I need to go into the office tomorrow just to force myself to look presentable.

Has anyone else seen a bit of FRER bashing lately? I thought they were the gold star of pregnancy tests and bought some this month for the first time. Used one 11dpo and had a bit of confusion about whether there was or wasn't a vvvvfaint line. Took it apart and there wasn't or it had disappeared anyway all negative since. But when I was googling saw loads of posts about faints/evaps/indents and since I've seen a few threads on here with similar comments. Are they not the bees knees after all? Any other brand people rate? I want to try a different brand opk next month as found my onestep ones a nuisance this month. The control lines were all different darkness so hard to compare test lines based on that. Anyway that was a bit of a ramble but if anyone has any recommendations for opks or hpts I'm all ears.

@Katao I've seen a lot of similar comments on threads recently. I had a faint line last cycle early on but not sure if that was a CP or evap etc. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I always feel like CB is the one you'd want to see it on but a lot of people say not to use those until AF is late.

Cramps feel like they've been a little stronger this afternoon and just had some bright red tiny spots when wiping mixed in with brown so I think it's likely that this is just a really weird cycle and AF is on her way 🤯 x

@Katao I have seen a lot also but if you look on other pregnancy test brands too they're the same. I've come to the conclusion that sadly probably 99% of these reviews that they claim have had "false positives" are the result of a CP☹️

@Minster2012 hahaha mine are similar tbh! A lot of losing and gaining weight over the years has left them a bit lifeless 🤣 the make up less face probably stopped any attention being drawn to them 🤣 x

A quick google about ewcm before AF suggests AF is on her way so add that to my google list 😂

@Katao the reviews that claimed there were indent lines were suppliers that had sold the first response early result fraudulently where they were in the correct box but the inside packaging was of a foreign brand.

Unfortunately as chemical pregnancy's are not a well known thing as most people don't know they've had them no one tends to talk about it which is why they would claim a false positive as it's just a faint line and then your period coming as usual. I for one didn't have a clue about them until I experienced one myself last cycle

@KateColx @lucyrp yes I did wonder if cps where to blame for some of the comments/threads. I suppose that would be the case for any brand. As you say they aren't well spoken about so would be chalked up as a false positive. Early testing is a head melter but then I'd rather know as well. I said to OH yesterday was this what it was like back in the day of no tests or contraception? Everyone just walking around all the time thinking maybe I'm pregnant/maybe I'm not 😱

Yes @Katao they often wouldn't have pregnancy confirmed until they felt the 'quickening' which was those first flutters of baby movements, otherwise just missed periods really which were probably fairly common given the malnutrition back then

@Katao its awful really and I would definitely say that testing before AF is very dangerous as you could have a lot of faint lines during the amount of cycles you are TTC because you're testing before which is when a CP happens which is normally before 4 weeks! although the plus you could get from it is thag you know you're catching j guess and you can speak to the doctor about it and it can be on your file for incase you have any complications going forward.

@Mococo1 hahaha I literally thought that, the one month I don't think about it and do everything I need to do it will happen!

@lucyrp ya I'd rather know either way I think. Also I'd rather lower my expectations with an early negative than just be hit by af. Where were the fraudulent test being sold? Or was it various places?

@Katao I think everywhere. There was a review I read about false positives ans how they were "fake" tests and the woman had bought those from boots and stated that because they had the same batch number as ones she bought from amazon the whole batch must be fake! Honestly. The fraudulent ones have like a circle on the end with another circle inside it where as normal FRERS actually say first response on them. I'm sure one of the ladies actually had a foreign one in one of her pictures today or yesterday and I panicked a bit 🙈

Well I've just ordered 10mlU sensitivity test. Hopefully here wed or thurs. So if af still not here I'll test. Rippen I didn't read up on the sensitivity before ordering lol ah well
