@KateColx It makes you feel so much better doesn't it! I haven't fake tanned in forever it's not a regular thing for me but might treat myself next weekend even though I have nowhere to go to show it off 😂 and I agree about the pregnant friends. I don't have any actual pregnant friends but I am so bitter towards anyone on fb or insta that announces a pregnancy lately it's so horrible of me really as they could have had a long TTC journey that I don't know about but all I can feel is resentment that it's not me 🙈

@Minster2012 I am on loads of secret fb groups, love that no one can tell unless they're in the group 👀 nothing as really secret as TTC though mostly cleaning tips or weight loss pages, although I always get paranoid someone I know that I wouldn't want to see will be on them too so have to search the members for any of my staff members before posting anything 😂

@blodyn91 what dpo will you be tomorrow again?

I hope you are all proud of me for resisting the urge to POAS this morning! I will do TMZ as I think I'm 10/11dpo tomorrow and I would be normally expecting af on Tuesday. Not feeling any different though so I'm not hopeful for this month. We've already decided we're going to try even harder next month 🤣 probs should write a plan haha x

For anyone thinking they may need to go to drs for tests etc this Clearblue monitor is good as it logs 6 months of data and apparently they take notice of it as there's no way to edit it yourself it's down to the sticks and it logs it and then you can't change it at all the only things you can input are when you dtd and period info. It is pricey tho as I've said before but I think it's worth the money x

@lucyrp I'm sending you all the positive thoughts to bring on your af now. Are we thinking pg is definitely not the case? I would of thought by now you would of got a BFP even if you were a slow hcg riser if you were? X

@KateColx so glad you had a lovely date night with DH! Was the food nice? Glad you're feeling a bit better about things today too. I agree it was so nice being out in normality and felt nice getting dressed up. It's inspired me to stop being such a slob and get some weight off too now I'm going to be leaving the house more! Tempted to join back at WW and try lose weight before Xmas in case I don't get pg before then x

I've only told 1 friend. My walking buddy who's 8wks pregnant 😲 we talk about everything. Know her yrs. We have 2 kids around the same age and we bought a house near her 2 yrs ago and our daughters are best buddies. So we got even more friendlier and became really good friends. I'm def not bitter shes pregnant but if I havent conceived by her due date I would think it will be hard.
Now I know others that dont deserve them and are popping them out left right and centre and those, well enough said 😂😂

So I managed to get lucky last night after dropping the kids off, phew! He even got the vibe out, so he was more in the mood than I had hoped 🙊

OPK this morning was high again, but not very... So just waiting for my afternoon pee to see if it goes up or down 🤞 after a few days of being moister than an oyster, my CM seems to have all but dried up today 🙄 I'm wondering if trying not to drink too much to avoid peeing in service stations is to blame.

House is super quiet without the kids so we've headed out for another drive.. Not sure we want to go back tbh 😂😂

@KateColx af was due yesterday but no sign. Had some mild cramps but still a no show. Tested this morning though and bfn so she can't be far off. When are you planning to test?

@2alreadywantanother with OH working shifts we have no routine in this house but was a nice surprise, now he is off to tesco to get stuff to make me a roast (such a bloody feeder) 😂 is it only room temp if you've had it out? Can't you use it straight away, never heard of ones like this 🤔

@Minster2012 ahh that is really mean of OH to say, I'm sure he didn't mean it, but definitely keep walking until you get some of the frustration out. Sunday roast at in laws sounds like fun though, love a roast x

@lucyrp my boss is the same, she is alright when out for a drink but an absolute twat at work. She gave some feedback on a meeting I ran the other day and said 'at one point I was just cringing' erm thanks babes. I actually left the house to go to work yesterday in a dress and had to run back in and get changed into jeans my legs looked horrific. I just want to get a Hollywood wax need all of the hair off down there it's driving me insane 😩

@Cocoblue22 yeah I'm definitely thinking PG is not the case I can't remember when I last did an IC pg test but I haven't done an FRER since the one after my vvfl. Yeah I would think so as its coming up to 8 weeks now in the next 3 days 🙄

@KateColx also totally with you on not talking about it with PG friends. My one friend is about 20 weeks and she was only 6-8 weeks agead of me when I had my CP and I told her everutning then but now I feel like I can't talk to her about it as she's very cynical as if I moan about my cycle being so long she's like oh get used to it I've had 3 periods a year for the last 3 years or whatever because she has PCOS so I literallt don't tell her anything. I probably speak to my one friend who's just had her little boy more about it as I feel less pressure and my best friend I talk to about it but I feel like I'm not pestering them as much anhmore now I speak to you ladies ! Xx

My boss is the same, trying to be so tough, she forgets to be human, yes, my circumstances matter, my personal pet hate, the hard time I get for being a working mum of an autistic child, yes, I balance many plates, they never fall, you should make me a carpet of rose petals every time I come in.
I don't think I'll be contemplating restaurants yet, specially with ds, we usually go to places like Witherspoon as every restaurant is the same, the food is the same, looks the same, taste the same, sounds the same, and if he can't behave particularly well it doesn't matter, particularly useful away from home, in other cities, but I don't fancy getting back there for a while

@SmileyT I think that seems to be the case with a lot of female managers by the sounds. I changed jobs briefly at the start of last year and by god I couldn't cope with my manager there she expected you to mix home and work but if you'd done something on the weekend in the pub she didn't like she'd have it in for you in work the week after. Do you get waxing regularly ? I really want to try waxing down there but never had it before apart from when I tried to do my own legs once and ended up walking round the house with the strips left on my legs because I couldn't bare to pull them off 😂

I don't know what I would do without you lot, I haven't told anyone, and you know how well talking to your dh about these things go... Luckily? I haven't any friends pregnant, and anybody likely to be trying will keep it quite secret, a few have little ones...so one less problem there, let's see if I open a pandora box and we have another batch of babies in my group

@Cocoblue22 yeah it is great I'm so glad I joined I feel like I've been here forever when in reality I've only been here for maybe 7-8 weeks! Its lovely that someone always replies at whatever time of day. Especially @Skip86 over the other side of the world! X

Also put some jeans on today and I'm not sure whether it's the fact I've piled on the pounds or whether I'm not used to such restrictive clothing but they are feeling very tight. Same thing happened with my work trousers the other day. I'm thinking it's a mix of both 😬

@lucyrp waxing is better than shaving etc but it is painful not gonna lie! A normal bikini wax/ Brazilian isn't too bad but a Hollywood does hurt as it's right in all the nooks and crannies and the tufty bits really hurt! I only braved the Hollywood once and then decided that as long as it's tidy and in a small patch that's fine I'm not bothered about being completely bald I don't think it's worth the pain haha! I also did that with home was strips stuck them all on my bikini area then couldn't rip them off so had to soak in the bath and let the wax melt and peel them off slowly haha! Disaster! I feel like that when I put work clothes or a wired bra on lately I think it's just not being used to it I'm sure you won't have put much on I've eaten like a horse and but 6lb in which I don't think is too bad could of been a lot worse given what I've eaten! Its like I've been on a 4months all inclusive holiday!!! X

I put on about 6/8 pounds, but o tried my work clothes and they fit perfectly, to my pleasant surprise, it's not even uncomfortable, the weight ain't muscle, I hardly been standing up, never mind moving...

@Cocoblue22 I really want to try waxing but I'm too scared because of the pain but I have given birth before so I always day that 😂 whenever I shave I always used to go completely bald but to be honest I hardly ever do thay now I just trim 😂 that's what I was like! Yeah I hate wearing bras now and it makes me have like a muffin top my belly squeezed between my bra and my tight jeans 😂 on average I think I've put on about 2-4 pounds but then I weighed myself the other night and I was like 9 pounds heavier 😭😂x

@lucyrp you should give waxing a try when the salons open I'd recommend staying with just a basic bikini wax to test how you feel about the pain then you can go for something else the next time if you don't find it too bad. After a while the hairs don't grow back so much either so that's a pro! You might be retaining water with not having your af I bet once she comes you'll lose a few pounds and instantly feel better! I have ass muffin top where I never had before ffs! X

@lucyrp normally I'd get a wax every month, I love it... I was au naturalle basically until I was about 20 and then started with waxes, I just feel like I get terrible ingrown hairs whenever I've shaved so can't be doing with it 😩 and I feel ya about clothes, I'm normally a body on dress kinda gal and none of them sit right at the moment, but I have put on so much weight, nearly a stone over my pre-lockdown, pre-MC body. Gyms will be opening soon and then I'll sort it out, for now it's a lot of maxi dresses or baggy tops and shorts 😂 x

@KateColx glad you enjoyed date night :) let's hope af stays away properly! And it's totally normal not to want to tell your friends. It's so uncomfortable! When I eventually do get my 12 week scan after a miracle bfp I'm going to put a very open disclaimer on my "announcement" because I think it's so important that people start realising how difficult ttc can be for some!

@Sausage1990 yes that was me with the pcos and 18 months 🙋🏽‍♀️ I'm going to give it until September as that will be just over 12 months and get my husbands gp to help as he's a lot more proactive. I hate the fobbing off too.
