On the self care front I had a shave-athon, and actually washed, hair masked, dried and straightened my hair in one sitting yesterday and I can't believe how much better I feel 😂 AF due today, cramping like mad so defo close, but hey I have straight hair, smooth skin and no longer look like Hagrid 💁🏼‍♀️

yeah I shall try the doctors again tomorrow or Tuesday. Oh yeah OH couldn't care less if my legs are hairy or not and my leg hairs are blonde so you can hardly see them but I've been wearing shorts a lot around the house and its for my own state of mind I shaved them 😂😂

Well ladies that was a mammoth catch up after being MIA 'out out' last night! It was lovely to get dressed up and be a bit more normal 🤪 trust me I can't say fully normal as I'm not haha! Had a lovely catch up with my friend and some nice cocktails! Having a 'Christmas dinner' today with all the trimmings today can't wait!

@lucyrp not really got much planned, I've bought some nice plants that need new pots & soil so whilst walking now I'm trying to learn what I need for them & his to try keep them alive (out of reach of DS) so might go to garden centre this afternoon then to in laws for Sunday roast.

The plan today is going out of the house properly, drive to a close nice nature reserve for a long walk, hopefully everybody has fucked off to the pub and is not near the beach

@Franklydear That is a good point about the pubs! I've been nervous to go out of our way specifically to a walking site in case it's busy but probably won't be as bad now the weather has cooled and the pubs are back!

Is it normal to not want to talk to pregnant friends about TTC?! Both of my friends who know we had stopped trying not to get pregnant (have never said I'm full on MN member and pissing on OPKs daily) are both pregnant, one getting pregnant after I told her that and another ready to pop. Both got pregnant within 2 months of trying 😩 and I just have this weird thing about not wanting to talk to them about it?! Like I don't want to admit yeah I'm trying pretty hard and getting nowhere x

@Cocoblue22 If you're in a fb group the people in the group can't see your profile details unless it's public as they aren't your fb friends. They'd see your profile picture, cover picture and name of course but in terms of other details would only see what anyone would see if they searched for you. So if your profile is very private and secure there wouldn't be much to see.

@cocoblue22 yes as @Ltay2 says you can keep profile private but still be in groups & long as the group is a "secret closed group" no one can see what you put there that's why it's great Cos you can chat pregnancy stuff with ppl before telling mates 💕🥰in that limbo period

It was quite far back on the thread now but someone was talking about PCOS and said that the GP told then to give it 18months rather than a year. @newbie0818 was it you?? Whoever it was, I don't agree with this. The guidelines are that if you're under 35yrs and have no medical conditions they advise to try for 1yr and if no luck you can seek help but it's 6months if you're over 35yrs it have an medical condition including PCOS. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed and I've missed it.

If you have pcos you will likely need some help so the GP needs to look into it or refer you on, if you've been trying for more than 6 months and have pcos. I would ask for a different GP if the one you've been seeing wants you to wait 18months! Sorry this sounds bossy lol, I just hate it when people get fobbed off my GPs. Xx
