AF due on/around 11/07 2ww buddies

Hi all, I'm trying for my second baby. My first is 2 and that physical need for a newborn baby has crept back again!! This is my first cycle trying. I have a 28 day cycle but generally have late ovulation (usually between cd16-18) and therefore I have quite a short luteal phase. I don't usually test ovulation I just base this on the consistency (tmi) of my cm!

Anyway I'm about 3dpo now... Anyone else?

@bettybea that's amazing! Congratulations! I have just bought CB weeks tests, they should arrive at the weekend. My app is saying I am 3+6 so what should the test read? 1-2 or 3+ weeks?

Alew I think you'll get 1-2 on the test as my app said I was 3,4 yesterday and the Clearblue said 1-2. Until scabs I think they generally date from first day of last period

So I tried another cheapie strip test and it was the same as yesterday, just a very faint line. We decided to try a FRER and this is the result! I've been getting waves of nausea this last week (never normally suffer with this) so had a feeling but didn't want to get my hopes up!

How is everyone else getting on? Crossing my fingers for some bfp's xx

BFN for me this morning. AF due tomorrow, so let's see. No idea what DPO I am as I wasn't tracking, so god knows!

I'm spotting now and have super painful cramps so AF will definitely be full flow by later or tomorrow - at least now can get the hormone tests out of the way then start thinking about the next cycle.

@Butterbean11 I'm the same. Due on tomorrow... Not sure on my dpo but guessing 13 dpo today. I tested yesterday and got BFN but haven't tested today. If period doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll test at the weekend. Fed up with BFNs now as I started testing too early.

I’m still in limbo. Day 6 of spotting. One faint positive followed by 2 negatives so sure I’m out this month but no af as of yet. Spoke to my gp today Tho so once af arrives I’ve to call back and book in for day 21 bloods to check oestrogen and progesterone and a few other things to see if they can work out the spotting so at least there’s a plan!!

@LT103 hopefully you won't need those tests 🤞🏻 I'm having them done tomorrow now AF is here, I guess because my cycles are irregular it's hard to do the 21 day one, they have warned it won't give an accurate progesterone level so might push for that to be done again mid cycle (I think it's meant to be a certain number of days before AF which is why it's 21 for most people, so will defo be able to work that out once I O). Sorry to hear that @ARIO and @Tink2019 - if it is indeed AF coming for you, crossing my fingers next cycle is the one for you. @Tink2019 also hope the tests might give you some insight.

@Tink2019 fairly sure af is starting so I’ll call tomorrow to arrange them. I must be one of the few who gets a false positive test but it was so so faint at least I hadn’t got my hopes up. Things happen for a reason and I’m sure I’ll get my bfp soon.
Hope your tests are all ok. I’m glad my doctor was happy to just book me straight in for them. We’ve only really been trying a couple of months but I’d rather not wait 6 mo the to find out there’s something simple wrong that could have been dealt with.

@LT103 I'm sure I read that it seems to be a bit of an issue with some of the early tests atm, maybe a faulty batch - either way, not nice to see then have it taken away. I'm never testing again until I'm very very late, I've been utterly crazy this cycle and it's the only time I've ever tested!! We actually went private as we've been trying for 10 months and my cycles are so irregular (plus I'm 34, so panicked). Drs are happy to do the bloods though, which is good, so just the scan will be private. Hope they help us get our BFPs x

@Tink2019 fingers crossed for you. I’m 38, so I know I’ve left it late but it’s not impossible. In my head, I’m still planning to have 2 😂. I got a bit excited with the testing this month but I think next month I will wait and see what happens first!! In the meantime I’m going to pour myself a gin and relax

@Tink2019 out of interest how did you go about Getting the private scan? Did your doctor refer you or did you contact a place yourself?

@LT103 despite my earlier comment I seem to be in a similar situation to you. I thought my AF had arrived this morning but it was just a brown smear (sorry tmi) and I've had nothing since. I don't usually get spotting before AF, just usually comes full whack! I know I'm clutching at straws but this limbo is horrible! I'd rather it just come!!
