@candycrush2298 CD17 for me and taking notes :) not using the cheapies cause they never show up a second line, even when clear blue saying I'm high fertility. Might try a cheapie next time I need a wee lol!

@Kaybobx lol that is what happened to me!!! Do another one this afternoon/evening and then tomorrow to see if its darker or not. When I saw it get darker exactly like yours I just dtd in case LOL. But I don't know about you but I normally never test after I have received a positive result so maybe this is normal? I wouldn't know because I have never tested this late in my cycle haha.

@ReginaaPhalange LOL yeah just do one anyway some tests actually state that you should only test after 12pm and before 6pm I haven't one step but maybe just see when they say the best time to test is.

@SpringDream yes of course you can join. At least you got a positive, did your BBT drop around ovulation so that you know for sure you did ovulate on CD 17/18? I don't track BBT even though I bought a femometer specifically for this cycle I did it twice and not again I am just so bad at using my brain the moment I open my eyes LOL! 11 days for a luteal phase is still considered normal only if it was under 10 days is there possibly a problem.

@candycrush2298 maybe that's why you shouldn't test after your peak as it confuses people. I just did a CB digital and it came up with a O so there's nothing there. Haha jeeze i was panicking then!! Ive only kept testing as i ovulated a week early and i have 25 test strips 🤣🤣🤣 I'll stop now, 2WW let's be having you

@Kaybobx yeah I definitely think so too. LOL you see I now have loads of tests too. Still contemplating if I should test today just to stick it in my journal or if I should just stop. There is no way I am going to ovulate 7 days before AF arrives whahahhaha!!

@candycrush2298 no I don't track BBT so I don't know for sure that I ovulated. I think if we have no luck this month then I might try BBT next cycle. I find it hard as I do shift work and my OPK peak came when I was on night shifts!

@SpringDream yeah that is me too. I just go off a positive OPK which clearly isn't working for me. I really want to add BBT. I am going to really make an effort and try from the day AF is supposed to start. Ouch I understand it being more difficult due to working nights. Were you able to BD when you got home from nightshift? Or as close to the positive as you could?

Did another opk today and it still looked very pos, however the Femometer app has moved it to just 'high'. Therefore I think I ovulated yesterday.
Had sex the day before, but not the day of. Will see if that's enough!

Now the wait begins!

@snapple21 at least you BD on the day of peak. which is more than me. LOL yes think you and @Kaybobx have you started your TWW at around the same time so lets see what this cycle brings us....

@candycrush2298 @snapple21 i think we are the same. I didn't the day before peak but did on the day. We've all messed it up abit this month haven't we 😂😂 when is your AF due @snapple21?

@candycrush2298 yes we BD twice on CD 17 (once when I got in from my night shift and once before I went to my next one ) and once on day 18.
I'm hoping it's enough! If not then definitely going to try BBT.

@Kaybobx yeah think we messed up lol. At snapple did BD on her peak day so she is ahead of us LOL!!!

@SpringDream that is fantastic!!! Should be good then lets hope for good things. Let us know if you start developing any symptoms.

@candycrush2298 and @Kaybobx the OPK getting darker and lighter throughout your cycle is totally normal. That is why they give you the control line so that you can see when you’re at peak. (I’m going off the 100’s of OPK videos I’ve watched and Dr Google)

@Elakiya yeah that is what I thought which is why they tell you there's no need to test once you have your peak. LOL I know the 100's of YT videos and Dr Google whahhahaha!!!

@candycrush2298 so I saw this chart lol where they mentioned that a second peak can either be due to PCOS or early pregnancy? Why is every pcos symptom also a symptom of pregnancy lol! But ignoring that article about early pregnancy, I think unless you get an actual peak don’t read to much into the results.

@Elakiya I actually need to chart in order to read into them whahahha!! I only want to track it to start learning how my body goes, I also want to see the dip for ovulation and then it start rising so that I know I am actually ovulating OK and can believe the OPKs LOL. How is your chart looking so far?

@candycrush2298 awful, so bad that I am now returning my Femometer. It’s really hard to chart. You need to be taking your temperature at the same time. sometimes I wake up at 5am, sometimes at 7am and sometimes later so it started looking massively odd. I just gave up. Attached what it looked like before I gave up. Pity as I’d love to know if I am actually ovulating.

@Elakiya ahhh I know what you mean!!! I also tend to wake up later on weekends. I work normal shifts Monday to friday so I could get an accurate reading there. But sometimes I don't sleep through the night so not sure if that messes with BBT too I am sure it does.

I think the BBT thing stresses me out sometimes I wake up half a sleep take my temperature and fall back asleep... no idea what time it was taken at.

I think if I am unsuccessful in this cycle and next cycle I’ll go back to my gynae in September. 🙁

@Elakiya yeah dont hold your breath haha. I really want to track it for a full month but we can't be sure I have the willpower to follow through.

Have you been trying for a long time? Do you think something is wrong with you?
