I'm convincing myself I haven't ovulated because no strong ovulation pains this month like last :(
But my ov test was soooo strong!
This two week wait is gonna be tough.

@ReginaaPhalange I know right. Its like it gives you the urge. The worst for me is when I watch progression videos from first BFP to last. Omg that makes me wanna test so bad hahaha! I avoid those now 😂😂

@Kaybobx I know pretty good huh, I am kinda proud not even Dr Google once. I think its because I am not exactly sure I am 6dpo and because I have been testing with opks also added to that I dont know if we did enough like we missed our peak if I did peak on Monday so im not really confident and therefore already wrote this month off. I say this but i haven't like written it off written it off like I'm still going to POAS everyday 😂😂😂

@snapple21 funnily enough, I've not had any ovulation pains this month either. I usually get them quite strong, worse than AF 🤷🏼‍♀️

@candycrush2298 haha i was writing this month off too, hubby didnt get home until 4pm in the end so think the BD today was too late. Hopefully the only other 2 times this month was enough 🙈 I'll still POAS though hahaha!!!

@Elakiya yeah but the cheapies never showed a second line, however the clear blue advanced started showing a flashing face from Saturday afternoon.

@snapple21 ahhhh at least you got to BD which means you at least did it no shot without the shot LOL!!!
I know what you mean, no ovulation pains at all. How bizarre is it that you, @Kaybobx and myself get ovulation pain for one and two this month none of us get it hahahaha. Ever since I started becoming in tune with my body I noticed ovulation pain back in 2011 I went to the doctor because the back ache was so bad but I had a dinosaur old man doctor and he was like its just arthritis (I was 20 years old at the time btw) starting from when I was in a bike accident 2 years before, I didn't believe him and went somewhere else and found out that its ovulation pain. Never knew there was such a thing lol!! But now I know it like I know AF pain so its bizarre to not get it this month.

I am getting AF pain though.

@Kaybobx I hear you i will be testing too. What you thinking of doing @snapple21? Going to wait until AF or will you be testing earlier?

@ReginaaPhalange maybe your cheapie OPKs are not very sensitive where as the CB might be more sensitive - I don't know I am just guessing

@candycrush2298 they were one step ones from amazon. Going to stick with clear blue

@ReginaaPhalange i haven't used them so cant comment but seems like CB is working for you so probably not a bad idea to just stick with them.

@candycrush2298 i went to the doctor with ovulation pain too! Mine are so bad. She said to me 'well the only way you'll stop it is to get pregnant' think i was about 20 at the time 😂 yeah thanks love! Haha

@Kaybobx well wasnt she just full of wisdom 😆😂😂 honestly man. Hahah I have also heard there's nothing that can be done for it some months its pretty bad where I actually need painkillers but I think because I am used to its force my body has developed a tolerance for it.

Well I guess here is to another month of bizarre things. I do hope you may have still made it in time to BD today. If not let's hope the other two times the swimmers were still in there lol.

@snapple21 if you got a positive yesterday then chances are you ovulated today in which case it would be too late. But did you test again today was it as strong as yesterday? If it was then its possible you havent ovulated yet and could still BD if you wanted too lol.

At least you guys had ECWM even if you didn’t have ovulation pains.
I wonder what ovulation pain feels like? I always get twinges around my ovaries throughout my cycle so don’t think I can figure out which ones are due to ovulation. Having said that it’s that bad that I have to take painkillers, it’s only when AF arrives that I take 2 ibuprofens and 2 paracetamols every 6 hours 😂

@ReginaaPhalange maybe you got a faulty batch of ovulation strips? I use the easy @ home ones. If unsuccessful this month, maybe give those a try next month (alongside CB). If they are good you can switch to them, because CB ones can get quite expensive?

@candycrush2298 have you been BD-Ing regularly? If so you may not have to write this month off at all?

@Elakiya yeah but I didn't have an abundance I think it is slowly starting to return as the anti-histamines messed it up and now that I have stopped and the pregnacare helps with it by next month think there should be a lot more EWCM.
Wow your AF pain sounds really painful. Mine get sore but most times I get away with no pain killers or sometimes just paracetemal.
We have been but not as regularly as I would have hoped sometimes every other day sometimes every 3rd day once even the 4th day so definitely not good enough if I did ovulate later. But I am getting AF pains, my breast pain stopped about Thursday last week so I am going to say I possibly did ovulate last Tuesday or there abouts. We didn't BD on Monday. So feel like that is enough to write it off.

I bought easy@home and some other brand pro-matris so will use easy@home first and when that runs out I will use pro-matris. I will be using them alongside the CB monitor next month. We shall see how that goes.

I've got some ovulation cramps this morning and my nipples are really tender, just when i said i had no symptoms haha!!

@Kaybobx thats good do you usually get it after ovulation has happened or during? I usually get side pains during and tender breasts starting during o and continuing for a few days. LOL at least you getting some symptoms that is great. I had no pain though. Just tender boobies which can happen during anytime of my cycle so I don't usually rely on that alone. I usually always rely on the pain to know OK the TWW begins now whahahahah.

@candycrush2298 i usually get pains on one side when ovulating then i feel like my ovaries are bruised and the sore boobs last until AF comes. I haven't noticed the pains though just the bruised insides feeling. Last cycle the pain on the right side was so strong and painful. Literally no pain at all this time. Probably haven't ovulate at all 🙈

@Kaybobx don't say that because if its true that means that you, me and @snapple21 have not ovulated hahaha! I refuse to believe all 3 of us are broken at the same time whahaha.
Really bruised inside, that is pretty good description actually. I don't think I feel bruises I normally have terrible one sided back ache which I believe to be 'associated' pain with the ovary that the egg is releasing from that month.
I havent even got the nausea or extreme fatigue I wonder if the maca root is doing something as I usually feel bleh until AF.
I know last cycle I thought I was going to die LOL everything was sore, I had food aversions, emotional, extreme thirst and this month nada.

Morning all.

Woke up today with a slight dodgy tummy and some very light cramping. Got a lovely spot on my face too - braw! Wondering if this is ovulation symptoms? Still flashing face this morning too....

@ReginaaPhalange good morning. LOL gotta love the spots haha. If you don't have success this cycle (which we obviously hope you do) its worth making a note of what CD you are and what symptoms you are having that way you can start to notice a trend and see if these are normal symptoms for you. I normally get constipated around ovulation (TMI I know sorry) due to the increase in progesterone which usually goes away a few days before AF or when she starts. Did you take a cheapie? Was there any difference in that one? Remember with the cheapies you musn't use first morning pee only CB uses FMU.

@candycrush2298 im definitely broken! Ive just done another opk test just incase and it's going darker again!! Top strip was yesterday, bottom is just now. Whats gone on?!

This is the first month I have used OPKs (using femometer ones from amazon).
I have a very regular 29 day cycle and AF comes like clockwork.
I just assumed that I ovulate day 14/15.
However, OPKs were strongly positive on day 17/18 of my cycle.
AF due 18th so I'm a bit worried my luteal phase is on the short side.
