@candycrush2298 that's crazy! Not long for you to wait each month though, my 2ww is nearly 3 at the minute!

Ohhh ok sounds quite advanced. I use a fertility app that does all my tracking, i dont think i can part with much more money. I seriously think it would of been cheaper to buy a baby than keep getting all these ovulation and pregnancy tests 🙈 now cups and lubes 😂 how people have a one night stand and get pregnant i will never know

@Kaybobx I completely understand. Its a lot of money. So totally get it I use an app on my phone too not sure how different this machine will be but we shall see hahaha. I bought one of an auction off ebay I wasn't going to buy a brand new one.

And yeah one week of AF - normally one week of BD and then tww for me haha.

Got an email back from the private clinic it will be £550 for hubby to get the semen analysis, my ovulation scan and a consultation to discuss the results needless to say we waiting on the NHS hahaha. Had a telephonic appointment with my GP today for the pain in my side she made me go drop off a urine sample to check for infections and ectopic which I told her I went a little crazy and tested a lot last cycle - I am definitely not pregnant (ectopic or otherwise lol) so she said she just wanted to rule it out with a light flow and one sided pain but she didn't think it was because with ectopic the pain would get worse not less. She also said I may have had cysts on the ovary causing the pain but maybe my body has sorted it out since the pain is so little but she said if it comes back she will book a full exam and scan for me. So might get that scan after all on NHS whahahaha. Have you heard back from your GP at all?

@candycrush2298 how much?! Jeezze! My scans was £160 for 4 during my ovulation.
When i went to see my GP the first thing she did was send me for a blood test and gave my husband a form to book his semen analysis. I think its alot easier to rule the man out first as it takes less time and money i guess. With COVID19 neither of us bothered going near the hospital though so we left it. I had my blood test on Monday and he's yet to book his analysis 🙈 I've not heard from my GP yet, was going to give them a call on Monday as my blood results should be back then too.

Haha you sound so much like me, everything is an Ebay special 😂 you'll have to let me know how the monitor goes.
So jealous of your cycles!! Ive got sooooo long to wait, especially now mine have decided to come 4 days later now.

@Kaybobx oh my goodness trust me my cycles are only nice now because we trying to conceive normally it sucks big time getting AF every 3 weeks lol!!! Yeah also got my blood works and a referral for hubbys semen analysis very quickly. Its just lock down and his busy work schedule that makes it a little difficult. My bloods came back all fine so as soon as the NHS clinic opens up we will get a priority appointment for the semen analysis but its just taking so long lol!!!

Yeah the scan just one scan for me is like £165 but then I need to pay for a consult so they can explain the results to me 😒.

Please please let me know how you get on with the test results for both bloods and your scan xx

@Boc86 sorry missed your message I am due to ovulate on the 1st. How longis your cycle usually?

looks like the tests you are using are on special - well I think it is on special because on all other websites its over £20 for 10 sticks and this one is 20 for £16.

My monitor came today and it seems I have to set it up when AF starts or within 4 days which is not ideal.

@snapple21 you have used the monitor before should I buy the digital test kits as in the link above for this month or just use the monitor even though my dates will be wrong?

Thanks, that is a good deal. I've still got 6 sticks left from last month though luckily. I think im going to stick to the ebay cheapies for preg tests too, literally sick of wasting money. If you go to the GP when pregnant they use the strips so they must be good enough.

@Kaybobx lol no worries yes I think they are good enough but for me when I go into one of my crazy TWW modes I think to myself maybe its neg because its an eBay cheapie lol. I convince myself of lots of crazy things but you are totally correct the test strips are good enough especially from from first day of missed AF

@candycrush2298 yup! Totally with you on the crazy ideas and testing 😂 i use an app called Glow also, so many people get faint positives from 9dpo with those strips too. Im not going to bother checking my CP this cycle either, what tosh that turned out to be lol.

@Kaybobx very true people do get faint lines from 9dpo with ebay cheapies I have seen loads of people rave about easy@home test strips and they super cheap. Yes I promised my husband and myself that I'm going to relax this month. (Whether that happens or not is something else) but I know its likely stress that is making AF so light for me so I really need to chill TF out a little. I'm also not checking my cervix it meant nothing it was high - must have dropped during my sleep when I actually started so totally useless.. i am tracking BBT for now lets see how long I remember to use it. Other than that I am leaving everything in this little monitors hands 🤣🤣🤣 when it says BD (high) we will BD and when it says peak we will BD some more lol and other than that I really want to calm down afterwards and try not think about it. I'm looking at a mini project of doing up the back garden when my TWW starts so I dont think about it and I focus my attention elsewhere. I really need to bring my head back down to earth 😆😆😆

@candycrush2298 I'm just gonna start using the monitor even though my dates won't be right. Will start using it from Monday!

@snapple21 thanks think I am just going to follow my Flo app which says my fertile days start tomorrow even though the monitor says I should only start testing on Sunday. Will it read the test even though its not a test day??? This way will see how off my app is and how bad I am at reading cheapie OPKs lol!!!

Hi ladies, AF due around the 19th July, app is saying ovulation on the 5th July. I'm all ready to start peeing on sticks probably on Tues, CD10. Going to try a clear blue stick this month aswell just to be certain. This is month 3 of TTC for me so lets go for it!

@candycrush2298 totally doing the just relax thing this month too! She says 😂 haha! No seriously im not doing the constant testing, checking CP and googling every symptom. It hasnt worked so far so i think the chill out approach is needed.
My AF has stopped after 2 days!! What is wrong with me 😭 i dont know why my cycle has changed to longer and shorter!!
Oh that monitor sounds abit complicated!!!

@Kaybobx hahahahah I agree LOL casual relaxed approach is needed for me anyway. No more Dr Google. No more symptom spotting - I say this before the TWW has began🤣🤣 and with such conviction hahahah. No but i agree seriously it hasn't worked Googling every symptom and testing so whats the point. Thats why I need something to focus my energy on.

I'm trying to stay relaxed aswell, I spent so much time googling everything last cycle, I was sure my symptoms meant I was pregnant and here we are. just got to hope mother nature is on our side, so no stressing (for now haha) 😁

I mean this is how I think its gonna go were gonna be like real good 1DPO, 2 DPO 3DPO and then ooh whats that little twinge, oh uh thats new, ah let me just Google this is it normal 😅 and by then we are down the rabbit hole and before you know it those HPT are out and we are waiting for that FMU 😆😆😆

@Flossy20 thats it!!! I have been really trying to relax and destress but its so easy to say this until the TWW begins. I honestly want this month to be a lot less than last month. Last month I was confused and very hopeful and thinking, maybe, maybe not (like switching between yep I am gonna get a BFP to no no ways I am definitely not like every 20 minutes) but the month before I was super convinced. And yet like yourself... here we are... hahahaha so I can say with a pure heart I want to be less psycho than the last two months. I am likely kidding myself but we can dream 🤣

Hmmm I'm not sure what to do with the monitor. So I've set it at 1 today.
Maybe I could use my cheap sticks and the monitor this cycle? I didn't ovulate until day 17/18 last so it should pick it up!?

@snapple21 I know i tried to test this morning and it said i am not allowed to test on non test days (I can test from tomorrow) so its really restrictive if it wasnt for the massive benefits of taking it to the fertility clinic I would have it up on eBay already its so restrictive. The little smiley face CB OPKs seem better as you can take them whenever you want to hahaha. But I am going to stick with it its what I have this month so I am going with it hahaha.

@snapple21 you are also at the very beginning of your cycle so by CD17/18 it should definitely pick something up. Mine is CD11/12 (if I was reading the cheap OPKs right lol) so thinking it will still pick up the peak so gonna stick with it. Will start to BD from today anyway.
