I'm on CD25 AF due 2nd July, potentially no ovulation this month or my body just refuses to budge on temp 😩

If anyone else would like to join please do xx

@2020wish I'm the same which is weird

Fell pregnant in March but MC fell pregnant again without a period but MC and then this month period came 6 days early. So first period since February

Rebecca1992 · 26/06/2020 08:39

@VP91x I tested 2 days early, got 4 faint positive results but definite positives, then tested again the next day (I wanted to test with a different brand to be sure) and again faint positive, I started cramping really bad that night and it continued for 4 days after (which would've been 2 days late on AF) I got several negative and started to bleed with what wasn't my usual period. I usually always get AF on time and never get any cramping only a pressure feeling the first day of my usual AF. I hope that makes sense?

HopeForRainbowbaby · 26/06/2020 08:50

@2020wish I'm glad that everyone is fine after the crash. Life has its way to throw curveballs at you when you least expect it. This is really awful ! Take care of yourself 😘

@Rebecca1992 welcome to group ! I'm sorry you found yourself here. If it was 4/5 weeks, I would expect you to come back faster to normal cycle. I have just had my second Mc end of May ( also early one, 5 weeks ) and I have ovulated 3 days later and my cycle was 3/4 days longer. After first MC it took my body longer to get back but then it was 9 weeks pregnancy. And once I had my first AF post MC the next cycle was 20 days. I also suspect i didn't ovulate in those two cycles ( first one I still had hcg few days before my period and second was just so short). So I'm also learning how my cycle would look like after second MC, I'm CD 2 so we will see. Your body is just recovering but it sounds like hcg went down pretty fast, so I would think you will have your ovulation sort of on time 😘 biggest hugs to you

Rebecca1992 · 26/06/2020 09:01

@HopeForRainbowbaby - it is quite confusing but I have to say its amazing how at ease you can feel on a thread chat with lovely ladies, it's a real comfort so thank you. Currently I'm only CD8 (after MC bleeding)

My Flo app is saying I'm starting my fertile window today (my usual cycle is 25 days) so hopefully things will be as normal this month, waiting for my first OPK's to arrive today, is there any tips etc for using them for the first time?

I logged the bleeding in my app as a period after MC to keep track of things, is that how everyone that has experienced the same done it?

VP91x · 26/06/2020 09:09

@Rebecca1992 ah it so so shit to get a negative so soon after a positive 😩 sorry I didn't mean to confuse you I just didn't know the timeline etc but does sound like CP as you said.

Have you got the strip OPKs? Maybe test twice a day until you start seeing them get darker and then add in an extra test or two? About 2pm/6pm are apparently good times to test after a wee hold xx

Morning all! So CD34 and still no AF. Tested again this morning and still BFN. Looking back at my last 5 cycles and they were either 28, 31 or 32 days. I have been using FRERs. I think I remember reading someone in this group saying they don’t get a response when using a FRER? I haven’t used them before so nothing to compare with. I have one CB digital test so might use that tomorrow if still no AF. X

Rebecca1992 · 26/06/2020 09:19

@VP91x The positive excitement was short lived, hoping for this month to even be somewhat normal to track etc.

Yes I bought 12x early OPK strips tests only from Mother&Baby, description said sensitive so once they arrive I will start testing.

I have had some watery clear CM this morning (Sorry if TMI) 🙈 I'm hoping it's a good sign?? After last month I think I'm being hyper aware of every little thing.

Bertyb7 · 26/06/2020 09:24

@VP91x Bizarrely, I am having the same temp rise problem! LH surge on Monday, usual temp dip before ovulation but although my temp has risen a bit, and gradually since then, it hasn't risen enough for Natural Cycles to confirm ovulation! I think I have ovulated though as have my usual post OV symptoms (sore boobs, sticky CM etc.)

1990EM · 26/06/2020 09:26

@2020wish aw no I'm so sorry!! What a day indeed ☹ this was the last thing you needed right now.. just so glad you're ok and no one was seriously injured, though I'm sure you're in shock and sore regardless. Wish I could send you a tub of ice cream and a big hug. So hard to hear about your cousin too..

1990EM · 26/06/2020 09:32

@Rebecca1992 sorry you found yourself here but it is the best source of support. I miscarried at 9weeks in May last month and ovulated about 14 days later and fell pregnant again then without having a period, though that fact has caused me a bit of anxiety! I'm now 6w3days. so it is possible, and that was despite my normal irregular periods. But not guaranteed and as the girls said the opks will give you a good idea. Wishing you all the very best ❤❤❤

VP91x · 26/06/2020 09:33

@Bertyb7 oh that's interesting, what does your chart look like? This is mine at the moment, CD23 where it dips and goes purple is where I thought I would have ovulated. I've been having some weird blood mixed with CM though. It's good you're still getting your post OV symptoms. X

@Rebecca1992 watery/ewcm is meant to be fertile so good sign I'd sign. I would think your cycle will be relatively normal this month hopefully xx

@VP91x here is my chart. My temperature rise last month was very obvious, this month it's more creeping up. Hopefully it will increase tomorrow enough for it to confirm that I ovulated when I think I did.

VP91x · 26/06/2020 09:40

@Bertyb7 I'm sure it will keep rising for you! It's going up generally which is good 🤞

OP posts:
mrsssk · 26/06/2020 09:49

@2020wish sorry to hear about the crash, I hope everyone is OK and not too shaken up

@Rebecca1992 that must have been so disheartening to see a negative after a positive, fingers crossed your cycles go back to normal quickly, it sounds like your body may already be trying to ovulate if there is watery CM.

@MichT4 I'm due to test this weekend if AF doesn't show up today. Only a day late today, going by pre MC cycle length and when I got some highs on OPKs. Today I feel like my CP is firmer and lower which is apparently a sign that AF is imminent?? It was definitely harder to find previous days so I'm not hopeful.

MichT4 · 26/06/2020 10:06

@mrsssk I hope this is your lucky month. I was tempted to check CP but I decided against it because I’ve read mixed reviews on its accuracy so I didn’t want to stress about it (I know I would). So I wouldn’t go on that, keep your hopes up.
Any other symptoms of AF and/or a possible BFP?

@VP91x I still wonder if you ovulated and this is ovu sporting as you wondered. As I said, I definitely read that temperatures don’t always follow that trend, and @Bertyb7 I have definitely seen examples of a slow rise

@2020wish are you ok today?

VP91x · 26/06/2020 10:38

@MichT4 I'm not sure, I'm really. Tempted to have a fertility assessment at a private clinic near me, I feel so perplexed by my cycles at the moment that I just want some proper medical guidance I think. My doctor just isn't going to pay attention to me I don't think.

They have appts for like mid July its £550 which is obviously alot of money but, wondering if it will give me peace of mind.

It does include lots of tests and scans etc. So you do get alot with it.

What do you ladies think? I'll post a screenshot if what it includes. You get everything except the semen analysis 🤣
Xx

@VP91x that looks good to me, and I don't think £550 is too much. Only thing is, is the second appointment included or is that additional?

VP91x · 26/06/2020 10:45

@MichT4 no its all included in the price! Which I thought was quite good. Xx

OP posts:
1990EM · 26/06/2020 10:49

@VP91x that would be a wealth of information to have!! I'd love to know my egg reserve and tube analysis. It could provide either peace of mind or something to work on. A lot of money but we already spend a lot of money on ttc with all of the tests, cups, trackers etc and it could save you months more of those 🙈

mrsssk · 26/06/2020 10:52

@VP91x I think for £550 it looks like it includes quite a few things. It's near enough impossible getting a blood test form from my GP these days. I think it'd be money well spent if it can help give some answers and your cycles haven't settled still, or even just for some peace of mind that you are ovulating regularly.
Same q as @MichT4 is the second appointment included? And the 5th bullet point under appointment 1 does appear to say semen analysis is included.

@MichT4 I wonder if I'm just confusing myself checking CP as well. If I get AF/BFN I will stop checking it next month if it's not reliable!
I've not had any real symptoms so it's really strange. Feel like I am going to pee more frequently (but could be due to drinking more water in the hot weather) and I feel a bit tired (again, the heat does this to me) so it's not really clear.
I'll hang in for another day and see if AF rears her ugly head, if not then I'll bite the bullet and do a test!

MichT4 · 26/06/2020 10:53

@VP91x I agree with @1990EM, it’s a good investment if you think there is something else going on. I’d definitely do it if we’re having no luck in a couple of months or so

MichT4 · 26/06/2020 10:55

@mrsssk yeah I just kept panicking when I did it as I didn’t really know what I was feeling for, and also I’d check in the morning and it was low and a bit harder, then an hour or so later, it’d be impossible to find. So I just resisted this month as I read too much into it.
Ooh exciting, do you have one to hand?

MichT4 · 26/06/2020 10:57

@VP91x that sounds really good then if they are all included. The one thing I might suggest is calling them and making sure there are no hidden costs, because it sounds almost too good to be true!
Just wouldn't want you to pay and get so far, and they then say it's another £1,000 to get the next stuff done xx

VP91x · 26/06/2020 11:06

@1990EM @mrsssk @MichT4 thank you, aI knew you would all understand 🥰🥰

I did give them a ring and they were so lovely yeah it's definitely all included except the semen analysis you pay extra for that it's part of the couples analysis package.

Going to talk it over with my partner again and then make a decision. Xx
