I'm on CD25 AF due 2nd July, potentially no ovulation this month or my body just refuses to budge on temp 😩

If anyone else would like to join please do xx

@ejb86 how amazing. I didn’t think you could feel implantation. Must be quite nice to know you feel it.

@Bellabubble yes i’m in the TWW. Either 7/8 DPO. Obviously busy expecting I’ll feel something and hoping I will, but so far feeling nothing

How are you? xx

SmileyT · 27/06/2020 19:59

@MichT4 mmm my fave apps are the ones that tell me the info I want at any given time, so winners at the moment are FF and Glow (although glow has a lot of spam on it) 🤣 I've just woken up from another 2hr nap, if I wasn't pre-ovulation I'd be symptom spotting 🙈

@VP91x I washed our bedding and already regretting the fact I'll have to put it back on before bed 😴 is DD asleep now? Bet you'll both be grateful for a bit of down time while little miss is at work x

@Ejb86 ahh I'm happy you'll be looked after, be nice to have a couple extra reassurance scans for your peace of mind x

Hi @fafi as the ladies have said you can start trying as soon as your bleeding starts as long as the doc hasn't said otherwise. At least you know that the sperm is meeting the egg just need a nice sticky bean for you xx

@Bellabubble ooh I'm considering going rogue next month and no opks and maybe just temp around ovulation but we'll see if I can stick to it 🤔 yeah took my DP about 3 cycles but it's definitely taking its toll on him all the details of the ttc lark x

VP91x · 27/06/2020 21:35

@Bellabubble ah well done, I'm crap at gardening because it all takes ages!! I wish I could just have it all ready made haha.

Yeah I think the guidelines are 6 months if you're over 35. Will you try and go through your GP first or go straight to private?

Woo, honestly you'll be loving it soon. Yeah for me it did work quite quickly and made a big difference!! I was drinking a big glass or two a day though because I love it. 😂😂 Made me laugh about your uterus arguing with the sperm sounds like a good plan for the month xx

VP91x · 27/06/2020 21:39

@SmileyT that's the worst isnt it when you go to bed and realise it hasn't been re-made 😩😩

Yeah she's asleep now, she normally goes to sleep around 6.30/7 which is nice. Sometimes later if she has a rogue nap. She's been well behaved today actually, no tantrums 🤔 just got into bed now and my partner promised me a lie in for tomorrow so I hope it actually happens. Have you had a nice evening? Xx

Hi lovely ladies, I've had some time off MN because it was becoming counterproductive for me - I was stressing over every bit of my cycle! I spotted for 2 days, had a 5 day AF which stopped for a day then 4 more days of spotting. After that confusion it actually helped me mentally think ok maybe my body isn't quite ready yet so spoke to DH and we're not TTC this month.
I've managed to catch up since the last bus as it's been lovely seeing the BFPs, I know we'll all be getting it at some point.
Also feel very sorry for everyone who is in FW over the last week of the heatwave, here's hoping you have air con in the bedroom!
@VP91x sounds like your cycle is a bit crazy too, glad you're going to get some tests done next week!
@Renna how's your pup doing now?
@Eli2020 cycle buddy, have you been sweltering DTD in this heat!
@SmileyT how are you doing? Can't believe you're considering going rogue! Think you are the most conscientious TTCer on MN! You're MC due date was August wasn't it? If it doesn't happen this month it might happen like it did for @Hayleylou89
@Hayleylou89 how's your little bean doing? Do you have a date for your next scan yet?

Hayleylou89 · 27/06/2020 22:34

@elliew818 Hey, hope ur well! Im ok (i think) got a 9 week scan on Monday 🙏💖💙 so just pray all is ok in there, not had much sickness this weekend and had absolutely no cramping atall which is bit wierd but just got to hope its all normal 🤞🏻 x x will update u on monday after my scan an hopefully with good news that all is ok x

Eli2020 · 27/06/2020 22:57

@elliew818 been thinking about how you are getting on. Good to hear from you. I know what you mean about not stressing-sometimes it's better to just distance yourself from reading about ttc. Dtd in this heat has been so hard 😵 and on top of everything pulled some muscles or something and both legs hurt so much 🙄 it's been tough but trying to persevere 😅

SmileyT · 28/06/2020 00:04

@VP91x Bed made after a very lazy day on the sofa, mainly napping and OH is working all day tomorrow so I'll be doing mostly the same again 😂 hope you enjoy your lie-in, although I'm sure you'll still be up early to temp x

@elliew818 it seems a few ladies are taking a bit of a step back from aggressively trying and I do think it can be so great for our mental health as it becomes so consuming at times. Me and OH had a conversation this evening and without me bringing it up he said 'I think you should stop with all the tracking, it's doing you no good' and as much as I love data 🤓he is definitely right. Next cycle I think I'll just use cheapie opks over 3/4 days and will carry on temping but not filling out moods/ symptoms/ CM/ CP on 9 apps and just try and relax... let's see how I get on 😂

SmileyT · 28/06/2020 06:17

@Hayleylou89 hope the 9 week scan goes well, bet the growth will be amazing to see... let us know how you get on x

VP91x · 28/06/2020 06:27

@SmileyT ahh enjoy the lazy weekend, honestly sometimes you just need the rest and doing nothing. Props to you for doing it late I would have just slept on top of the duvet 😂

Yeah you were right - just temped plus got jumped on my head by LO. They are off downstairs so I'll snooze.

I think it really does help to try not to track, difficult to switch that mindset over. I would have been 7dpo today if I had ovulated and I would have been symptom spotting for sure but this week has gone fairly quickly considering. I don't really think about it too much like I normally have been🤷. So maybe not tracking anything will help with that too for you because you won't know what to be thinking about (if that made any sense!) 😂 xx

@elliew818 Ah no, I'm sorry you've had a confusing cycle too. I still don't have AF but spotting the last few days and no ovulation. It's frustrating not knowing what's going on isn't it. I'm glad you are making the right decision for you this month. Hope fully you body resets a bit and then you can continue when you feel ready.

@Hayleylou89 good luck with your scan tomorrow lovely, I'm sure your little besn is all safe and snug in there xx

Rainbowhope11 · 28/06/2020 06:47

@VP91x @SmileyT I was just reading your comments about not tracking, and you know, I've been thinking of doing that too. @SmileyT I've stopped logging symptoms, because I honestly just feel like I look for symptoms when there aren't any and then I end up setting myself up for major disappointment at the end of the tww. Right now, I have no idea what CD I'm on because my cycles are so messed up, but I've honestly not felt this relaxed in months. I'm blissfully ignorant 😂

HopeForRainbowbaby · 28/06/2020 07:12

Hallo ladies.

I was taking some time off and enjoying the time with DH. It was quite recharging. And we are ready for next month' trial. But I will definitely do OV test and pregnancy test at some point ( not sure if so early as last month). How is your weekend ladies ?

MichT4 · 28/06/2020 07:47

@elliew818 nice to hear from you, and glad a little break has helped you out.
Sounds like a good plan not to do any tracking next month. I’d love to do that but I think this being my first month of OPKs and temps has shown I might have had my dates all wrong, so I’ll definitely keep up with those two.

I think you’re right tiough @SmileyT maybe not the other stuff, otherwise I end up making all sorts of assumptions out of every symptom. Plus it confuses things if they don’t all match up.

@1990EM on that subject, what happened to your RHR after that graph? I saw it come down a bit before it ended. See how I’m worrying about that as mine climbed pretty high but the last two nights has come down very slightly. Like you said - another thing to worry about! 🙄

@Hayleylou89 hope tomorrow goes ok. So excited for you. Looking forward to hearing how you get on.

@VP91x I hope you’re having a successful snoozy morning! How’s your temp/spotting/cramping/OPKs?

@Rainbowhope11 How lovely you are feeling more relaxed. Must be such a nice relief. I’m with you on the extra symptoms. I have slightly sore boobs so yesterday was looking back and when that happened last month and trying to make this feel different 😂 just more to get consumed with.

@HopeForRainbowbaby glad you feel recharged after some time away with DH. The weekend for me has been super lazy! Not sure today will be too different either. Might make myself go for a nice walk today.
How’s yours been?

xx

SmileyT · 28/06/2020 09:01

@VP91x @MichT4 @Rainbowhope11 I honestly think it's about working out what's right for us individually. For me the first few months after MC it was good for me to track everything it was a great distraction from the utter sadness I was feeling and because I wasn't ttc before I fell pregnant last time I had no idea what my body was doing. But now I find that it's taking over my life a bit, I don't want to go out after work because I'll miss my early afternoon opk, if we stay up late I'm waking up before 6 to temp so I'm bloody exhausted at work which stresses me out. My first period after MC came 31 days later but since then it's been 27 or 28days which was pretty standard pre-MC and I've taken opks throughout the whole month for nearly 4 months and have never had a 2nd surge so feel like if I start doing cheapie opks around CD12 I'll catch it anyway. Then with the temps I know what my pre and post ovulation temps are now so taking it throughout my period doesn't really add any value. I'm just thinking if this takes a year I don't want it to consume me the whole time. We'll see how I get on 😂

My temp is back up today so hoping that means I have ovulated and thinking the drinking/ hangover just affected my temps.

@HopeForRainbowbaby glad you are feeling recharged and yes I'll definitely still be taking a test in a couple weeks too, not going to be the totally relaxed girl that found out at nearly 6 weeks again 🙈

Anyway sorry for the massive post how is everyone else feeling today? Who is testing over the next few days? xx

MichT4 · 28/06/2020 09:47

@SmileyT glad your temps are back up.
I agree if you know when ish you’ll ovulate, no point in making the whole month about TTC. I’m sure it won’t take a year though 🤞🏼

AF is due thurs/fri so I won’t be testing until that doesn’t show (if!). That’s the loose plan anyway 😂

mrsssk · 28/06/2020 10:36

@SmileyT it does sound like all the additional tracking was causing some anxiety so sounds like a good idea to take a step back.
Glad to hear that your cycles have regulated themselves though and following a pattern similar to pre MC. I hope next month is your lucky month x
I'm still waiting for my elusive first AF post MC, once that comes I'm going to try and follow your lead - stick to doing the CB digis as per instructions and try to take a more relaxed approach. Like you, the first pg just happened without any of the additional tracking etc

MichT4 · 28/06/2020 10:39

@mrsssk it’s amazing when you think back to the first PG isn’t it. I was just about to google early symptoms before missed AF (which I have done every month since MC - pretty sure nothings changed) and then decided not to. I didn’t know first time, I just tested, and I want as much of that innocence as I can try and recreate

See how long this lasts 😂

VP91x · 28/06/2020 12:45

@MichT4 no success with the snoozey morning, Bella just kept coming upstairs and opening my eyes which is always fun 😂
Temps are still the same, still spotting, I haven't bothered with the OPKs haha.

Are you going for your walk today? I'm excited for you to test Xx

@mrsssk

@SmileyT fab that your temps are back up! 😊 1DPO now then? I really do think it hekps to know what your body is doing especially postMC when you're so lost and just want an answer as to why. You're nice and regular now even if you didn't do the cheapies you would quite confidently know when it happened. A few months of this is bound to take its toll on anyone. Sending you so much positivity for this month though ❤️

@mrsssk first pregnancy I took the test at work with a digi and I didn't even think that it might not be the right result or anything! Mental isn't it xx

OP posts:
SmileyT · 28/06/2020 13:12

@MichT4 does that mean not testing until Saturday morning? At least you'll know that when you test you have like a 99% chance it will be accurate ☺️

@mrsssk yeah first pregnancy we were trying to avoid at the time 🙈 and went on holiday when period was due and was just happy that it didn't turn up. It wasn't until OH said, I'm pretty sure you're pregnant that I took a £1.50 boots test at work one morning 😂 I hope your first AF shows up soon so you can start trying again x

@VP91x i'm going to say i'm 1dpo and assume AF due 10th/11th so yeah officially in the TWW, I may actually be 1dpn (day past nothing) but whatever I'm staying positive. I did wonder how Bella would feel about you having a lie-in 🙈 xx

VP91x · 28/06/2020 13:17

@SmileyT dpn is a new one. I'll take that as I am 7DPN😂 I definitely think you'll have ovulated though. Absolutely stay positive

Yeah she was having none of it. I got treated to my 1000th viewing of Frozen 🤔. Hows your day going xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 28/06/2020 13:47

@VP91x yeah, went for a walk and then it started raining. So now I’m home, waiting for a burger to be delivered, stuffing my face with crisps 😂

I’m excited too, just hope I get the chance to and AF stays away. You know how much I love POAS!

@SmileyT that is my plan. I just don’t want the disappointment of seeing a bfn because it mean I’ve got my hopes up enough to do one. Trying to take each day as just AF symptoms and see what happens 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🌈🌈

VP91x · 28/06/2020 14:04

@MichT4 haha that sounds glorious!! What crisps? I love a truffle crisp when I want a posh treat!!

I hope so too 🤞🤞🤞

OP posts:
MichT4 · 28/06/2020 14:51

@VP91x onion rings and chicken sensations. Average to be honest 😂. Have just had my cheeseburger and cheesy chips. What a porker. Tomorrow’s a new day (again!)
Never heard of truffle crisps, might have to investigate

VP91x · 28/06/2020 16:10

@MichT4 truffle crisps are sooo good! Only thing nicer is truffle chips with parmesan 👌👌

Haha sounds yum though. Xx

Hi ladies, very sad to be finding myself here again went for an early scan today should have been 8+3 and unfortunately I’ve had another missed miscarriage at 7+3. I had a missed miscarriage in February at exactly the same date. I’ve also had a chemical pregnancy in April. I’m hoping I get referred for tests now. I’m going to ring the EPU tomorrow to see what the process is now. Will be joining you all in the July/August thread. Has anyone been advised to take aspirin etc? Want to start trying again as soon as this is over 😩 xx
