Aww @SmileyT don't take it personally and think it has anything to do with your looks, your partner loves you for you. Just remember libidos are sensitive to things like stress/tiredness/worries. These covid times have been stressful for all in one way or another, add TTC on top of it and your partner is bound to have bad days, nothing to do with not being attracted to you. Time to give yourself some TLC and remember how amazing you are without all the extras then go give your partner a bit hug remind them they're amazing too. Just have a cuddle night reconnecting.......and without the pressure theres ever chance it'll lead to sex in the end!

Katao · 23/06/2020 10:38

Morning girls. Caught up and taking my place on the new bus. Said yesterday I was going to step back from this a bit for the tww but turns out I'm addicted 🤣 don't want to miss anything!
@Stabal congratulations. Great start to a new thread!
@SmileyT aw girl so sorry you are feeling down. It's awful when that happens and hard not to feel rejected but im sureit isn't personal. Ttc is stressful because even if you are trying to take a relaxed approach, you know where you are in your cycle and that ups the pressure. Like you say your relationship ismost important. Maybe have a no sex romantic evening to reconnect?

KateColx · 23/06/2020 10:42

@SmileyT you're completely right, the relationship is the most important thing and there are always ups and downs. I think TTC just amplifies the downs because it's so consuming for us and we want it so much. 💛

I've had a little word with myself this morning, plus obvs searched MN for 'sex 4 days before OV' and it seems some people actually do this to try and have a girl so hey, maybe I'm not out 😂 had a few pains this morning, so might still try tonight but will see. Taking a leaf out of @SmileyT book and going to try not to force it (I'll defo be on here by 11pm moaning 😂) x

Sydgal22 · 23/06/2020 10:49

@SmileyT So sorry to hear you’ve been feeling like that and I think a lot of us have been in the same boat by the sounds of it. sex and relationships are always a balancing act I feel and then throw in covid and ttc and it’s easy to see how things could get out of whack! Take care of yourself ❤️ And thanks for asking about my bloods on the other thread all came back normal and hcg in normal range so here’s to the next milestone 🤞
Sticking around and rooting for all you fab girls! Love our fab buses ❤️

Vil10 · 23/06/2020 11:10

So girls, for a while I've been really worried and conscious about pelvic pain that I get, I started with it about 5 years ago and I went for a scan and they couldn't see anything so said I was fine, it's not like chronic and it's worse obviously when I'm ovulating, but sometimes I get random pains and stabbing pains and aches in my pelvic/ovary region, when I'm not ovulating and when I'm not due, last cycle I got an awful shooting pain when I was about 7dpo and obviously turned it it wasn't implantation, but the more I've researched it the more I'm worried that I have like PID or endometriosis, so I've just rang the doctors and I have a phone appointment with them later today! Not going to lie girls I'm so worried and scared in case it is something that will affect my fertility!!

Sausage1990 · 23/06/2020 11:11

@newbie0818 yes a break was needed. My anxiety has been super high and I actually think not being on threads and over analysing everything has helped lessen the anxiety and helped to get my cycle a bit shorted this time around. Oh 7dpo for you with symptoms is exciting... not long now until testing 🤞🏻

Did you ever find out what was messing up your cycles? I know we both struggled over the last few... Xx

Stabal · 23/06/2020 11:12

@Minster2012 I'm about 16/17 DPO but I have a long luteal phase so I'm guessing that's why it's taken this long to get a faint. The test the day before this was definitely lighter. Also last monday (8 days ago) I had brown spotting for half a day when I wiped then it disappeared. Have had low down pain since and stabby boobs. This is my first cycle after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. It took me 2 years to conceive that first pregnancy so I was devastated and now I'm very very shocked to potentially have got caught again so early. I'm remaining cautious and trying not to get too excited! From my miscarriage I started taking folic acid (well, continued on taking), coq10, vitex, myo-inositol and vitamin d spray

Stabal · 23/06/2020 11:14

Thanks everyone! Remaining cautious since it's my first cycle from a miscarriage. Will update on Friday Flowers

Cocoblue22 · 23/06/2020 11:25

@lucyrp im not surprised your OH gets a stitch....he gets a good work out that guy 🤣 must be frustrating tho! X

@Bertyb7 @SmileyT it's nothing to do with how they see you honestly they will still think you're the hottest woman out there it's just the pressure of TTC it affects them differently to us when they feel under pressure to perform and get the job done....It's hard for us to understand because we're lucky that we don't have to perform in the same way and the more they overthink it the worse it gets for them. They prob feel pretty crap about it apparently it makes men feel crap if they can't finish which is awful it makes them feel that way too x @SmileyT I'd prob just try not to tell him too much and maybe even say no not yet to fertile week even when it is then he will think you want to have sexy time anyway and shouldn't get stage fright if it's no pressure. You have the right attitude toward your relationship and it sounds like you both want the same thing and you'll get there x

@Vil10 try not to worry it's probably nothing and you've done the right thing getting it checked but try not to worry x

@Stabal I can understand your cautious approach but try and relax and enjoy this time! You got your BFP yay! 🎉 🤞🏻 for a very sticky bean and a healthy nine months x

blodyn91 · 23/06/2020 11:38

@stabal They do say you are more fertile lost MC, heres to the stickiest of beans to you!

I just got a high on my OPK! So I am now backtracking everything Ive moaned about and maybe femometer app is correct and I am about to ovulate 🤔 I was thinking of testing again at around 3 and 7pm? OH not back from work till 11pm

blodyn91 · 23/06/2020 11:39

@lucyrp @Cocoblue22 that stich comment 😂😩

Vil10 · 23/06/2020 11:41

@Cocoblue22 I really do need to stop worrying, I've got myself into a right panic this morning, OH said though what's the point in worrying before something happens because if I do need to worry when I know the results I'm just putting myself through the same stress twice when the first time worrying is unnecessary, and it does make sense but you can't help but worry can you!x

blodyn91 · 23/06/2020 11:41

@Vil10 You are doing the right thing getting it checked, 🤞 its just ttc overthinking hormones. Let us know how you get on

Newbie0818 · 23/06/2020 12:05

@blodyn91 oh sorry haha, to get my first period after the pill. I wasn't tracking back then so not sure about ovulation. I had fire nipples though so I assume I did.

@Vil10 I seem to get that, I assumed it was just normal throughout the cycle, however it turns out it was pcos. Do you have any other symptoms? Regular cycles? Acne? I'm sure yours probably isn't but worth mentioning as it's really common.

@Sausage1990 the symptoms are just my usual post ov I'm sure. Sneaky progesterone. I suppose you won't have caught up on the old thread but yes after tests I now officially have a diagnosis of pcos sadly. It means it will be a bit trickier to conceive due to irregular and possible some annovulatory cycles, but I'm just going to keep at it. Dh has been such a sweetie and has been really supportive, which is nice.
I'm glad you feel a bit more relaxed, I'm quite an anxious person too and I totally get how it feels. Awful. Where are you now in your cycle? Or have you not tracked?

Vil10 · 23/06/2020 12:05

@Cocoblue22 @Blodyn91 well I just had the phone appointment and the doctor wants me to go down straight away for blood tests and to have a feel of my stomach!! I'm so so scared!

Vil10 · 23/06/2020 12:07

@Newbie0818 I'm thinking it might possibly be that! But I don't have acne and never have had, my cycles are regular! So I have no idea! The doctors want me to go down now and have blood tests and check my stomach!!

blodyn91 · 23/06/2020 12:11

@Vil10 good luck! So good they are seeing you straight away!

Juno231 · 23/06/2020 12:23

Good luck @vil10 ! My mind went straight to PID when you described it so let's hope they can confirm it's nothing at all!

I've had EWCM today - like stretched it between my thumb and index finger and all so the ass juice has definitely worked! However... my OPKs are still blank and I'm only CD10 so am a bit confused! Is it normal to have it several days before OD?

lucyrp · 23/06/2020 12:44

@Vil10 good luck x

Minster2012 · 23/06/2020 12:50

@vil10 it's so good they are seeing you straight away, & I know it's easy to say but it's better to know what's going on & be able to do things about it 🤞🏻

@Lucyrp I bet you give your OH stitch you little 🐯😹

@Stabal wow that's so good you've caught quickly again really hope it's a sticky one for you & keeps progressing. There's a few of us who have had MC & I know if we get pregnant again I certainly would be extra worried in the first trimester def so we know the concerns 🤞🏻

@blodyn91 yay for your high!! Bloody rollercoaster 😂I'm sure you can squeeze in a quickie 🤞🏻maybe just push him up against a wall as soon as he walks in 🤔

@Juno231 I'm not sure I've been trying to work that out, dr google says it can come up to 4 days before so potentially but for most it's the day before to catch the sperm. I seem to have had a lot more this month over a few days so I thought the same & that's why I'm still not sure when /if I ovulated

Sausage1990 · 23/06/2020 12:51

@newbie0818 yes sorry I couildnt face trying to catch up as I last left the conversation on thread 3 or 4 so too much for me to catch up on 🙈
I'm sorry you've got pcos but at least with an answer you can at least explain what's happening and helps you understand. Nothing more frustrating than not knowing why your body isn't behaving as "it should". Great to keep positive and having a supportive DH is great too... It might be a longer journey but the reward will be even more special 💕

Yeah I decided to track this cycle but took a much more chilled approach... I did opk tests but only on the run up to my "usual" ovulation period and just tried to approach it just like I'm curious with the opk and pay more attention to my cm. So maybe wojdkjt eevn test every day. Then when my cm started the change to more fertile cm I upped it to 1-2 opk a day and I think I caught my peak. I've found this way if tracking a bit better, just listening to my body a little bit more. So I'm 2dpo today and going to take the same approach to symptom spotting because I know now from the last few cycles that all the symptoms for early pregnancy are the same as progesterone so I can just chill and see what happens.

I've also personally found that I've had to do a lot of internal work mentally... I didn't realise how hard I was being on myself and essentially it is put if our hands. We can get all the ducks in line as best we can but our success is in nature's hands - this thought pattern has kinda calmed my brain a bit. And I have to keep reminding myself of it too like a mantra. It's in nature's hands 💕

Newbie0818 · 23/06/2020 14:13

@Vil10 ah I hope it's ok! My guess is that they probably think you've got appendicitis as I've had a similar experience with bad pain in belly and they did the same. I now know it was probably a cyst bursting. Fingers crossed everything comes out clear for you lovely, try not to stress, you'll be in safe hands x

@Juno231 yes very possible. The ewcm comes when your body is trying to ovulate or getting ready to do so, so that's quite normal don't worry x

Newbie0818 · 23/06/2020 14:15

@Sausage1990 I get it! And thank you lovely, that's what I've been telling myself too ☺️ and that's a great way to do it, I waited for cm too. I think when we get so carried away with everything we forget to be mindful and listen to our bodies. Great mantra! I really hope it happens for you soon x

Vil10 · 23/06/2020 14:49

Well I've had my tests girls, they tested for ovarian cancer, cysts, low iron, thyroids, sex hormones, IBS and coeliac! My results should be back on Thursday for everything other than hormones and coeliac, then they should be back next week! If I have something after that I need a scan! So I should know by the end of the week!! Thankyou for all your good lucks!!xx

Dipsy77 · 23/06/2020 14:49

@smileyt thanks for the new tv read,
I'm calling myself out this month I won't be testing.
I haven't ovulated I usually do anywhere from cd12-14 I'm on cd16 and nothing.
Dps back issues have become a lot worse and until he sees a physio we can't see it getting better. He has been given nerve tablets but they make him sleep and drowsy so he is bed most of the day and when he is up he can hardly move and is in a lot of pain. We did try smep and managed cd 6,7,8,10 and 12 we also tried 13,14,15 but he either couldn't finish or couldn't start due to the pain. He said it's really getting to him and he feels like it's putting a strain on us so I'm going to step back this month and hope he can recuperate. Bless him he really has tried because he knows how much it means to me and the fact I really want to get pregnant before my would have been due date in September, I've been out and bought a bottle of coconut Bacardi limes and coke it smells like holidays so that's me sorted tonight x
