@Amy00 just remember you are not letting anyone down, people around you want you to get pregnant and have a family because they know how great you'll be at it. They will be disappointed for you but definitely not disappointed in you.

As I'm sure you can all tell I'm a complete chatterbox so I've told anyone that will listen that I'm ttc, although if I actually get pregnant I probably won't tell anyone until 20weeks 😂

@SmileyT I told my friend thats pregnant that we are ttc. If it does happen I told dh I'm telling feck all. My sister, my friend that's expecting and feck all else till well into it. Even at that I wont be putting anything on facebook and hopefully popping it out and people going wtf 😂😂 because I'm overweight and losing weight, coming into winter with baggy clothes = sorted lol

@2alreadywantanother I haven't told anyone yet, probably cos they are going to say I am mad, if it happens I already told dh is not going on Facebook, if you don't see me, you don't need to know, last time I didn't look pregnant until 7 months gone, ds insisted on being sideways making me look fat, even back then was a difficult child...

@smileyt haha I'm the same! Most of my friends know, although I haven't told my family about it because they annoy me so much with their pestering. I'd probably tell my close friends straight away about the BFP but again will wait to tell family until first trimester is done!

The interesting part will be my OH... he doesn't really speak much to his parents so I'm not sure how long it will take him to break the news to them! I imagine I'd rock up at his dad's house and they'll realise when I'm not drinking or because I have a bump! Then his dad will let OH's mum know as she lives in Dubai lol...

@Juno231 I have a very strained relationship with my mum, we do talk a fair amount but she is just a busy body and I have no desire for her to pass judgement on what I'm inevitably doing wrong. First time she saw me after lockdown her first comment was 'how have you been leaving the house with your hair looking so awful' it did look awful but still 😂 and OHs mum would be round every two minutes with random bits of shit we don't want - when we went on holiday she painted our front door (really badly) without even asking, always trying to help but normally a well meaning nuisance 🙈 the day after I told my best friends last time I MC so I'll probably be superstitious about when I do it x

@Ltay2 I really like them, they are pricey but I think it's worth it to not obsess over the lines (because I would fully become obsessed)

So I've just had brown CM when wiping 🤔 I've been feeling crampy/pains since the weekend but checking back through my notes I had spotting at 5DPO last month soo maybe just ovulation spotting but a bit delayed this month? I'm 8DPO. I got a bit excited but then checking my notes it's probably a sign that it's the same as last month 😩 x

@Juno231 well no af yet but I feel like it's coming soon as I've been spotting a little bit since yesterday. Nothing too bad and no cramps, which is odd, but not looking great :/

@blodyn91 really? Haha I feel like it's like Rocky Mountains but I must say at least it's staying up for now. Just hope this spotting goes away and nothing happens after!

@smileyt omg i think i'd strangle both of your mums! the door thing would have given me an aneurysm. My mum likes to comment like that on me too. It's mainly my dad that has been difficult about TTC though as I don't think he has a clue it could take longer than one BD to make a baby. He's been asking for years and made a snide comment the other month about how we're on lockdown so he's expecting a grandchild by the end of the year. When I visited my cousin at xmas (who has a baby) his wife said how every time my dad visits them he complains about how he cannot understand why I don't have kids yet and "what is she waiting for". Even though in the past I've told him there is NO good time to ask anyone when they're gonna have a baby as either they don't want one right now and they don't have to justify themselves to him, or they've been unsuccessful so far and he's being a douche for asking.

@blodyn91 oh I hope so 😩 I've just been working it out and last month the spotting was 11 days before predicted AF and this month it's 7 days before predicted AF which is better for implantation but I don't want to feel like I'm clutching at straws 🙈

@SmileyT a well meaning nuisance made me laugh 😂 my dad sounds like your Mum though, he lovveesss a comment about my fake tan every time I see him 😂 just let me live my best Orange life hun.

My mum has a portrait of my whole family (like 20 of us from a cruise) with my ex in it, she said she would only get him photoshopped out if I have a child, I just have to laugh with her or I'll cry 😭

I hope so, sadly is one of those that seems nothing is ever enough, he did such a good job catching up in the last year, he went from 3 years behind to nearly even with his peers, I am afraid to step back again, we also had a great routine and managed to make a new friend on his own, not the son of a mummy friend, and to improve two existing friendships, I know it doesn't sound so extraordinary but is massive for us

@Franklydear it does it sounds bloody amazing your son sounds like such a determined boy....must get that off his mama. You're doing a great job and if he does fall a bit behind because of the lockdown you'll soon make it up at the end of the day his happiness (and yours) comes first in this situation and he must be finding it hard being out of his usual routine. You should be proud of everything he has achieved because it's your love and encouragement that has helped him to make that progress you sound like you're really acing it x
