@Mococo1 how many strips do you have? I would test again in the afternoon, 4pm say. Can you start DTD now everyother day? That way you'll be covered if you peak sooner than predicted

@blodyn91 I have a pack of 30 lol! I was told not to have sex for 10 days due to a chance of getting infection unless I stop bleeding earlier (stopped bleeding yday) so I'm assuming we will be DTD tonight as DH has gone two whole weeks without now x

@skip86 surely you can use the excuse of "er I'm pregnant & pigeon shit is toxic" to make DH do all the shovelling 🤔?! I have the vitiligo all year round, but it's mainly on my arms, back of hands & neck/chest you just can't really see it in winter Cos the rest of my skin fades to "pale & interesting" too, whereas what you see there is actually weird Cos the rest of my skin still tabs despite factor 50+ & it just shows it up more 🤦🏼‍♀️it's actually not that noticeable usually. Thank you @blodyn91 that would be great, I don't mind so much I'm used to it now but would be nice to get rid of it!

@Mococo1 i guess that's relatively high but don't forget that the flashing smiles on CB can start around then (as in LH present) but not surging so it's not unheard of

@Franklydear that's really good, are you still going to try take little steps to acclimatise yourself yo going out & about though maybe? & try get DS into school xx

Hey guys just jumping back on board to say hi and I hope you’re all doing ok and surviving in the heat in the UK! I’m under two quilts here and have the hot aircon on full blast! It’s literally the opposite problem in the winter here the houses don’t hold the heat at all! (Or at least my old one doesnt)

So I have bought some frers for the first time 😃 I've peed on about a million ic tests the last couple of cycles 😂 going to try to be a bit more logical this month. When would be a sensible time to test? I mean I know sensible would be wait until af is late but realistically I haven't got the patience! So what dpo do you girls consider not a waste of an frer?

@katao 12DPO I'd say. Save your ICs for before then if you have the urge to POAS.

1st time trying after having 2. Youngest is 9 and I'm nearly 40🙈 seriously broody too.
On CD18 and according to apps my OD was thurs.
We have been DTD flat out over a wk 😂 DH is wrecked so I may give him a break. Fingers and toes crossed for all on here. AF due 9th july. I'll be trying to hold out and not test b4 that date.

I have no idea what I'm doing with these OPKs but used my first one today... for anyone who has used these, how much longer after a reading at around 13% did you peak? Sorry if I'm annoying you all with this but just want to get an idea to plan for the week ahead 🤞

@Katao implantation is usually 7-10 days after ovulation so it's really best to wait until the end of that range before testing. I've tested at 11 DPO and had a faint but clear line on a FRER in the past. Turned out to be a chemical so worth remembering you could test early and get false hope. I'd try to wait until AF is due if you can.

@Minster2012 yes, I’ll try to start getting out anyway, as it may only be delayed by a week, and in any case it was a good wake up call, school will only accept ds with employer letters confirming we are both back at work, and even then it’s a maybe.
@2alreadywantanother, similar situation , I only have one he is 10, I am 42😳 hope I didn’t leave it too late... we have been trying since November, plan was to give ourselves a year, and leave it to fate

@2020mission mine usually look like that even when I'm not in fw 😱 but if you have other signs like ewcm and your usual ov indicators, I'd do one every 4 hours x

That's my fear. My 2 are 11 and 9. No issues conceiving. Not on pill or that so hoping that stands to us. I'll honestly be devo if it doesn't happen in the next few months. I was mad for one this while but we just had other stuff going on. Our last house was tiny and no room. This house we bought, love and even have a spare room but shortly after moving in our son was diagnosed with t1 diabetes so that put our plans on hold. Now we are ready and my fear is we left it too late. Fingers and toes crossed.
Suppose so many now do have them later in life and that's the hope I'm holding onto.

@Newbie0818 I know, I thought it looked quite light so was surprised this premom app flagged it as high at 13% 🤔 I tried one of the sticks when AF was here to check if it showed anything at all when LH should be at the lowest and it was completely blank then so it has increased in the last few days at least. I don't have any other ovulation signs I find it impossible to monitor CM when we've recently had sex as it's all sperm in there 😂

@Minster2012 you'd think that would be the obvious approach to the pigeon shit situation, but the house is my solo project and it's also 420kms (260 miles?) away from our home so OH doesn't help at all! I drive all the way here on a Friday 5am, work on it a few days, then drive home again Sunday evening. With all the little snippets of info I've given on my life you must think I'm a complete whacko 😜
So interesting about the side effects of your treatment. And I think you should rephrase your skin description to 'pale and totally gorgeous and life saving' 💪🏼

@Katao congrats on your frer purchase 🤗 I'd say test no earlier than 12DPO because you can be 99% sure of the result at that point, but in saying that I tested at 11DPO because I couldn't help myself this time!

Hi @Sydgal22! How are you feeling?? I'm pretty good over here. Yep I feel you on the cold house front - ours gets so friggin icey in winter and don't have heating. Need that renovation done and ducted hot/cold a/c stat! 🙌🏼

At least 11dpo. My luteal phase has been a bit short at 12dpo so I think that makes me want to test earlier but I dont think that would mean I would implant any earlier would it? So doesn't make sense to poas when it won't tell me anything.

Yes @Skip86 we think you are bonkers but in one of those "crazy Aussie posh bitch" kinda ways & we love you! So you just have houses on the side as projects, like the other side of the country to us, yeah 🤷‍♀️as you do😂 is that for you to live in then? For when you & DH have a fight you can have a bolt hole (that's bliss btw!). Yes I'm pale, kinda interesting & a bit weird with lots of scars & leopard skin, I'm also crazy but like you say it all tells the story of why I'm alive still!

@katao yeah, ideally 12dpo depends if you know exactly when you ovulated maybe, I'd be tempted at 11 too not gonna lie. I've got 2 sat there upstairs but now knowing my son has probably got more chance of having ovulated I might as well piss up the wall like he does too 😂🤣

I'm normally a 2/3 times a wk kinda girl at the most. I think around ov time evening without trying I be mad for it lol. DH has a high sex drive and loves when I'm like this lol

@2020mission Attached is mine. Different make, but thats how quickly it went up, and now its back down. I would test again today, if its gone up a lot maybe test 3 x, if not then just wait till tomorrow and plan 2/3 tests for the next few days

Ya I have being second guessing ovulation but I've decided to stop faffing about the high opks, I got one peak and I'm calculating by that so 5dpo. Won't lie I already have 11dpo in my head as acceptable but aiming at 12dpo
