Anyone else 9dpo today? How you guys feeling?

2020mission · 25/06/2020 10:39

@Skip86 congratulations! 🎉 how long have you been TTC? Sorry if you've said before, it's hard to follow with so many posts here 😆

Ltay2 · 25/06/2020 11:19

@Katao @SmileyT I know it is very strange! No more visible bleeding so far, CM still sliiiightly pink tinged when I check can only notice if I wipe finger on toilet paper so it's only really light coloured. Not much I can do about it so just made a note of it and will see what happens 🤷🏼‍♀️

Missgoldilocks · 25/06/2020 11:35

@SmileyT it's a test where they look at your tunes to see if they're blocked :) the great thing about it is your conception rate goes up by like 20 percent after the test for a few months lol so hopefully they aren't blocked and then I will have a higher rate of conception!! It seems painful though so not looking forward to that haha. Its okay, I actually feel okay that I think af is coming. I'm completely putting it out of my mind now and just going to get back to enjoying life instead of worrying constantly x

how are you doing?? :)

Franklydear · 25/06/2020 12:05

More ranting, gp won't sign a new note, it's work responsibility to ensure it is safe for me to come back or not, but I don't need to be restricted to the house any longer, devastated, I call to say I don't feel safe in public transport and don't have childcare any way, waiting for a response.

Skip86 · 25/06/2020 12:27

Thanks ladies! Feeling the love! 🥰🥰 For those who have asked, we tried for a few months end of last year, fell in December, miscarried in Feb at 11 wks, so this is cycle 4 since then though 3 of proper trying.
So now the tricky part is actually keeping this peanut in there. With my medical problems and history of very prem babies, I need to now add aspirin to my drug mix, and then progesterone pessaries when (if) I get to 16 weeks. This is all on the advice of a high risk obstetrician, who specialises in pre-term prevention, and who I was referred to during last pregnancy.
So yeah, will be holding my breath for a long time to come!

@Missgoldilocks a good cry can do wonders xx hugs to you 💗

@Cocoblue22 don't be a sausage no way are you out! We DTD 2 days before ov, and twice on ov day, but not at all the day before or after. It only takes one time!

@Stabal sorry to hear about AF lovely. Get yourself some wine and a lovely bath 💗

@Ltay2 cervix could just be a bit irritated after all that sex, especially as you haven't done it for a while! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Stabal · 25/06/2020 12:37

@Missgoldilocks good luck with the HSG! Can you report back your experience? I was waiting on AF to get one end of February, start of March but as it turned out I was pregnant so AF never showed so I never had the test lol. I'll be asking EPU if I should still go ahead and have it now even though I got pregnant. I think I'll leave it to next cycle though as this first one since the miscarriage is turning out to be not very pretty and any extra pain is not welcomed. Hopefully next one will be calmer!

@Skip86 thank you, wine is required later! Absolute best of luck for you and little bean x

Missgoldilocks · 25/06/2020 12:55

@stabal hey! If you got pregnant you probably don't need it as that means your tubes are open :) but I'll let you know how it goes! I'm quite scared it seems painful and I cried at getting a coil in sooo😬😂

Stabal · 25/06/2020 13:19

@Missgoldilocks I'm gonna ring after work and give them a run down of all my questions 😂 yes I've heard it can be quite painful too.. I'm hoping that's an exaggeration! 🤞 I've had the coil in twice and both times HURT LIKE HELL. Do you have any children? Did you know if you've never given birth you're usually supposed to be under general to have the coil put in?! They kept fobbing me off with the coil because of my endometriosis, saying it would help and refused to do surgery because of my weight. The first coil I had in lasted 2 weeks before I was at my GP begging for it out. The 2nd lasted 6 days before I ended up in A&E bleeding heavily, doubled in pain and vomiting. A very nice gynaecologist informed me they should never have placed the coil in without checking where I have the endo cells at as it was likely the coil was placed on them causing the pain and bleeding. Both times as soon as it was removed my pain was instantly gone. Sorry, went off on a little rant there apologies! I just really hate that damn little piece of sh*t 😂

Skip86 · 25/06/2020 13:28

@Stabal omg that sounds horrendous! Poor thing!

notyetamumbuttrying · 25/06/2020 13:32

Congrats @Skip86 and best of luck for a successful pregnancy. Sounds like you've been through a lot!
Wow what an awful experience for you @Stabal doctors don't listen sometimes and always think they know best. They need to learn to listen to the patients more.

Boc86 · 25/06/2020 13:45

@Skip86 congratulations!

I’m on cd3 after what I’m sure was a chemical, my tests were positive until yesterday morning, only faint but they were there and AF was 3-4 days late
My test went negative yesterday morning and my heavy feeling in uterus, nausea and headaches have totally gone
Day 3 of AF and it’s quite light so I think it’ll be minimal/gone tomorrow

Cocoblue22 · 25/06/2020 13:51

Do you think it matters what time of day today? Looks like it won't be before late this evening! Hopefully the ones from Tuesday night are hanging around there ready to pounce in case I have a quick ovulation @blodyn91 @SmileyT @Katao @Skip86 thanks ladies you've made me feel better!

I guess I don't know for sure if I'll ovulate today or tomorrow or if it was even yesterday or at night yesterday morning at 7am I was still high and this morning at 7.30am I got Lh surge so who knows and that CD17 we DTD CD11 CD14 CD15 and hopefully today CD17 (will hopefully do CD 18, 19 and 21 too 🤞🏻) did do some before CD 11 but they are irrelevant now! X

@Stabal sorry to hear what you're going through that sucks. 🤞🏻for a new shiny cycle and a July BFP for you x

@Skip86 🤞🏻for a very very sticky bean and a healthy and flare free 9 months for you x

Thank you all you lovely ladies on here that give each other and me lots of lovely advice it really does make a difference xx

Katao · 25/06/2020 14:09

@Cocoblue22 my understanding is that ovulation is usually 24-36hrs from the start if the surge. But I'm not 100% on that. My surge doesn't seem to last long so only get one positive opk but if yours is longer I would say calculate from the forst opk.

@Boc86 sorry to hear you are going through this. Does sound like a chemical. I suspect I had one a couple of months ago and same as you I had that heavy feeling in my tummy for a couple of days and got one faint positive and then negatives and the heavy feeling disappeared and af arrived at 12dpo so not even late. It messes with your head!

SmileyT · 25/06/2020 14:42

@Stabal yeah I think GPs can be a bit useless sometimes so makes sense calling the EPU x

@Missgoldilocks sounds like you have the right idea... no point stressing and assessing every twinge. That hsg thing sounds good, something else to add to my googling list 🤓 I'm all good just trying to be chilled about this whole thing after my freak out the other day xx

@Franklydear will you speak to work about options for maybe working closer to home, can you not work at home at all? Really feel for you if you don't feel safe 😕

@Skip86 really hoping for a sticky bean for you, keep us all updated please 🙏 do you get early scans out there? x

@Boc86 ahh I'm so sorry to hear that it was a CP I hope you are being looked after xx

@Cocoblue22 yeah think you're well covered with all of that sex and sounds like you have a good weekend planned aswell 😉 I wouldn't worry too much about the time of the day, just do it when you can x

Minster2012 · 25/06/2020 14:43

@Stabal I was like that with the coil, I bled heavily for days & felt like I'd had a fight with Tyson so had to have it removed

Ultrasound of neck done at 10am & radiographer said nothing untoward to see waiting on ct scan at 3 then MRI at 4 for 1hour then 1.5hour drive home 🙄

@skip86 this little bean knows it's good to stick around

blodyn91 · 25/06/2020 15:04

@Cocoblue22 I was googling all of this yesterday 🙈 I had morning sex and was worried I ovulated later and the possibility of the swimmers going to the wrong tube. But I then fell asleep before OH got home so just went again this morning.
Afternoon snacks sorted for post ovulation! (I probably got the wrong pom juice as well 🙈)

@Minster2012 all the best for all those scans!

@SmileyT without being too outing, I can’t work from home at all, and this location is the closest I can be, I don’t feel safe in public transport, but I haven’t left the house since March, so I don’t know if I am overreacting , is this our first Aibu ? Ds might be able to go to school, which his teacher thinks it might be beneficial as well, I am going to call my bff and sound it out with her, but I can get back until I have childcare and I can probably drag that a bit if it cones to that, only downside they won’t pay me but I don’t think they can fire me.

Ltay2 · 25/06/2020 15:14

@Franklydear Everyone I work with in my office have all been terrified at leaving the house at some stage, especially when we all went back in. From my experience it's fear of the unknown and everyone has said that they were worrying for nothing and once they were out of the house and in the office they felt fine. However they weren't on public transport they all have cars so didn't have that extra worry. I can completely understand your fears and I am absolutely not saying you should go into work if you don't feel ready it's all down to personal choice! If you haven't left the house before could you try going somewhere else first to test yourself such as friend or family house/garden (distanced obv)?

Cocoblue22 · 25/06/2020 15:17

@Katao that's the problem I don't do OPKs just the CB one once a day I don't do multiple times a day so could of been any time between 7am yest and 7am this morning the surge started so I guess ov could of been any time from last night to say potentially x

Vil10 · 25/06/2020 15:27

@Stabal so sorry to hear what you're going through!!x

@Skip86 got everything crossed for you for a sticky bean and healthy pregnancy!! Did you have any symptoms?x

Sooo guys, my hormones results came back very quickly and doctor rang me this morning, they're all clear!!!😁 he did say that usually to detect pcos, endometriosis, pid you get a pelvic examination too but he said there's nothing in my female hormones that would suggest I need a scan and everything seems healthy! I must just be a twingey ovary person!

Ltay2 · 25/06/2020 15:49

@Vil10 What a relief! 🥳 After the last few days I think I am also a twingey ovary person too although I haven't had any tests 😬

Franklydear · 25/06/2020 15:50

@Ltay2 yes, public transport is my biggest fear and it’s a very long busy route too, inside the office I can take steps to protect myself, I’ve calmed down, but I don’t know how to approach the public transport from a risk assessment POV , I either get on it or I don’t .

Runnergirl1 · 25/06/2020 15:52

@Skip86 - congratulations that’s brilliant news 😁🥳

blodyn91 · 25/06/2020 16:00

@Vil10 So good that your doctor s have sorted all your worries out so fast! Now relaxxx
