Very heavy implantation bleed? Is this positive?

Hi all,

I am around 10/11DPO with AF due Sunday.

I had 3 days of bleeding from 6/7DPO to 9/10DPO, heavy enough that I assumed it was AF early. The only difference was that the cramping felt different and I also felt nauseous but the colour, volume and clots seemed like normal AF so I decided this wasnt my month.

I have stopped bleeding now but just felt off today - nausea, headache, backache and twinges around my left ovary so thought I would take a test just on the off chance.

Am I being crazy or can you see a line? Have attached pics and tweaked pics. I have had evaps before and this definitely has some pink to it but it is hard to capture on camera.

And if it is a line, could the 3 days of bleeding really have been implantation bleeding despite being so heavy?

I'm ok thanks love. Yes waiting for my referral for a scan through the post, so it won't be any time soon. I only got one because I pestered GP and I think shes more concerned about my previous history with cysts.

Weird stuff going on again today, I was finally feeling better last night but today I've had blood tinged cm and lots of it. I think I ovulated 3 days ago roughly so guess some of my pain/pressure was ovulation but I've never bled after it. I also had a really sudden sharp pain in my uterus when out and about today, it lasted 10-15 seconds but it was so sharp. My body is a mystery to me.

@jammyone aw I hope they don’t hang about it’s awful not knowing what’s going on in there x they might be quicker though even though it’s coming through post x fingers crossed for you x I have actually only had ovulation spotting once in my life about 2 year ago I didn’t know what it was until I googled it lol x if it is ovulation pain though I wonder if there’s a infection or something which is causing the bleed or pain if it’s not normal for you x hope your ok x
@Bouncytree aw you’ll soon find out then you are right about waiting a few days if it says it increases in 2-3 days x but don’t forget aswell that all woman’s hcg levels rise differently so don’t loose hope until af x
I’m so down today x I did another a cheapie this morning and still only very very faint n I only scrutinised it cos of my previous positives but after today I actually decided that maybe it has been a chemical x my lines definatly are not getting any darker x shock horror I went and got a Lloyd’s one today to compare it to last weeks and it doesn’t look any darker at all and that’s been about 10 days x it’s still positive but I don’t see much change in the lines if anything I feel it’s lighter 😢 I’m just so fed up and sick x I’ve made myself bad worrying and thinking ectopic or something bad because maybe my body wasn’t ready for another little one in there yet x I am literally going out of my mind x I feel like my nipples are a lot darker today they feel fuller and big again him getting twinges still all on left side and I’m still feeling dizzy at times and nauseated n borking still 🤷‍♀️ I feel like I should have some will power to just wait another 2 weeks or something but it’s so hard x I just wana know x I’ll be on 3rd week from conception now and last time I was pregnant my lines were on every test dark as anything x I’m scared I’m holding onto hope for nothing xx

The one on its own is this afternoons and then the others are from last week x it’s definatly not as dark as it should be with this many days for hcg to rise 😢 I’d have thought even a slow hcg rise would still show darker x my faint positives on cheapies are now 25mIU but this Lloyd’s one defo doesn’t look dark enough for it to have been 25 in there today xx

Really feel for you @bumblebee04 doesn't make sense does it. Its hard to not get hopeful, but at the same time you don't get much reassurance from faint tests. When are you next being seen? Do you have any pain?

@jammyone well done for pestering the doctor to get a scan. Good to get seen and know what’s going on. Always worrying when your having pains, and any bleeding. Hopefully it’s just things settling. Let us know how you get on, and yes lots of chocolate and TLC for you! Our bodies and selves go through so much in this conception process.

@Bumblebee04 I know how tough this is on you. Of course it’s hard to wait and it’s so understandable you are desperate to know what’s going on. So hard to tell what you need to know with the tests. Scan Sunday right? You are very nearly there.

You body is in control of what is going on. Whatever is going on you didn’t make it happen by trying to soon. None of this is your fault, it’s just terrible bad luck. Be kind to yourself, lots of treats and tlc to get you through till Sunday. For now both things are possible and it’s easy to keep flipping between them in your head. You don’t know till you know. Hold tight. This is a tough thing you are going through.

Still no AF here. Under normal circs I would be jumping up and down and thinking it’s just a matter of waiting for a test to appear positive. But dates could be out. Starting to wondering if something else is going on. Symptoms are so Wierd. I just feel full of aches and pains all the time. Back, boobs, tummy, stitches, cranky. I really would be happy with AF at this point, just to stop being so hormonal and to have some conclusion. But I’m still hopeful too.

My toddler keeps talking yo the ‘baby in my belly’ the last couple of days. I told him about the last pregnancy and don’t have the heart to tell him. It’s very cute. He will just think babies take a really long time! Hopefully there will be one in there soon.

Well AF arrived this morning. TBH I feel kinda releaved . I’m just happy to get my cycle back and to be rid of these bloody hormones! I’ve been like a demon. I think they must be the cause of all my symptoms.

At least my expensive clear blue OPK test won’t go to waste! For now I’ve a steak in the fridge with my name on it. Another month another sexathon, no rest for the wicked 🤣

I’m surprisingly fine about it. Glad the confusion is over and hopefully back to normal! This is TMI but I actually found what looks like colostrum in my nipples yesterday. Yellowy white liquid in both of them when I squeeze. Very surprised. I was only PG for 1 week. Just goes to show much my body was muddled up!

Glad to be back to the familiarity of AF, and some clear chances to conceive. After the whole experience I think I’m gonna try focus on the long game and stop thinking this could be the month. Though that’s very well to say until you DTD and start thinking...,maybe! 🤣😆

@Bouncytree Wow, it is surprising the amount of 'behind the scenes' changes that go on early on isn't it? I had aching in my armpits and I suspect that was from the beginnings of things starting to happen in that department.

Well the niggling in my side was persistent yesturday so I just thought fk it I’m going to AnE and not moving until I have had bloods done and at least a tummy examination x yano the dr there was so lovely she gave me a big hug when I explained my situation she wasn’t happy with my Gp at all either I took my tests to show her I’m not going crazy and for her to see that the 25mIU was very faint but the others 6 and 10 and 20 were very there positive x she agreed I wasn’t going crazy and said she doesn’t think it’s ectopic after she examined me x she did agree with my first Gp that it’s probably a early miscarriage after the spotting been constant for over 2 weeks and when she knew my bloods were 6 the other week she said ah yes so there was something there (so I wasn’t crazy they obv just don’t confirm it until over 25) x they did my bloods and my levels came back as 2 😢 x which is so wierd cos I tested that morning and on the 10 sensitive one it was again a faint positive 🤷‍♀️ Xx it does hurt a little x yano when I told my mam about maybe being pregnant again so I had someone to talk to last week she said no god wouldn’t be so cruel 😢 but obv he can be x 2 miscarriages within 9 weeks of each other x so cruel x but at least now I no so I really enjoyed a bottle of wine last night and in the pics which will be my last pic is me sat with a glass of wine and burn bin on and every single pregnancy test I did I burnt (and that’s a lot in the 2 weeks of testing twice a day lol) thank god most of them were cheapies haha xx well I kinda feel a bit relieved now that I no x and I new there was something in there so I wasn’t crazy but I don’t get how the test was positive and then 2hcg by the tea time 🤷‍♀️ Bodies are definatly baffling x and I will never ever test early again x this was by accident cos obv I didn’t know when my first period or last was and then obv didn’t think I could be xx

Oh @Bumblebee04 that really is cruel. To have to go through all of that twice. And especially type second one you think might heal the first, so you hope even harder. You really didn’t deserve this, and absolutely none of it is your fault. I’m so glad you found a supportive doctor that helped you find out what is going on.

Love the fire! Bye cheapies 🤣 That’s an amazing way to move past it all!! What a tough time for you. Hopefully some healing time now. Even though your hanging on to hope, its a relief when you find out. I found it takes a little while to accept, but at least now you can move on.

@bumblebee04 I'm so sorry love. It has been a rough ride and it's such emotional turmoil to have to go through it once let alone twice. You did all right things and echo what bouncy says. Be kind to yourself for the next few weeks. Love the fire - great catharsis!

Agree with your point about testing early, don't think I'll do it again although easier said than done when the temptation is there.

Aw thank you both so much it really means a lot to me that yous have been there for me and my huge rants lol x yeah I think the main thing I’ve got to hold onto now is that I can move on x and yano thinking about god being cruel actually yeah he is but also if anything this past 2-3 wks has done for me is to take my mind somewhat off my first loss which I guess I am greatful for as I was really struggling and in a dark place at times but yeah back to square one lol well for you two anyway x I’ve phoned Gp today to get a contraceptive started I’m not actively trying and also not with my ex for good reasons so I definatly don’t wana slip again and definatly don’t think I could handle this stress n worry any time soon lol x the right time will come for me but for now I’m just going to try and live my best life and enjoy what I can xx big hugs and babydust to you both x yous will be wonderful parents I’m excited for when your back on in 2 weeks with pics of tests lol 😆 I need my poas fix from somewhere haha xx

I’m back on the TTC train this week!
Before I even ovulated I have had my ‘symptoms’ again. Sore stabbing boobs and stitch. So it much just be how my body is after the MC, feeling every lump and bump in the hormones. Jez it’s really messed up my hormones, I never had any peep of a pain at ovulation before.

So I’m Ignoring all symptoms this Month! At least I know now they are not PG symptoms. Made a pact not to do FRERs hope I can keep to it! I’m feeling more relaxed about it this time. Trying to think of playing the long game and it could be some one time.

Hi, not sure if anyone can help me with this but worth a shot.

I recently found out I have PCOS (explains my irregular periods) me and my husband have been having unprotected sex for 5 months now. I was due to start a supplement to help regulate my periodic hormones etc. I was only with a consultant on the 30th of March establishing a game plan. We did an ultrasound and it confirmed I had PCOS he also said I had ovulated that month- I got a positive ovulation test on CD 40 but he just confirmed that. So was expecting my period 14 days later (my consultation was on CD 54) Roll around to the 4th of April no sign of my period, randomly just did a pregnancy test and came up positive- I was shocked. I did another 3 and all came up strong positives and did a digital. Waited until the next morning because I didn’t believe it, both clear blue said yes I was 1-2 weeks. 2 days later I begin bleeding, started off red and has gotten heavier but not as heavy as my normal periods but still heavy and today is the 3rd day. I am guessing this is a miscarriage?

So I took some pregnancy tests this week and they all have faint pink positive lines on them. And then 2 days ago I started bleeding bright red. No clots or anything. A lot when I pee but barely any on my pad. Any thoughts?

Hi, idk if anyone uses this anymore but im gonna try. I had 3 days of what seemed like a normal period. My period wasn’t heavy but it was heavier than what they say implantation bleeding is like. TMI but it was more brown and dark in color. It also was normal period amount. Then today which is 3 days after my “period” I have been cramping on the one side and had back ache. My boobs are also very sore to the touch. I took a test and it was very faint positive. I’m not sure if it was the evaporation line or maybe I’m ovulating.
