@VP91x what a handsome pup 🥰🥰🥰 also if you are getting your LH surge today it probably wouldn't show in the morning on CB, it would show in the afternoon so 🤞 today is still the day xx

For me I'm just getting another manic week of work out of the way alongside the grapefruit juice, POM and EPO and then heading into fertile week again hopefully with loads of fertile CM but until then nothing much going down x

VP91x · 18/06/2020 07:40

@SmileyT thank you hun 🥰. I find it so peculiar that CB ask to use FMU when it doesn't make sense with when LH surges would happen 🤷 I have kept my stick from this morning to compare if I get a static to see if there is a line difference.

I downloaded premom btw - but it went crazy the other day and is telling me I'm 6dpo 😂😂

You ovulate on cd13 don't you? It won't be long and you'll have alll the fertile cm 💦 x

Morning ladies ☺️

@1990EM OPKs behaving - is there such a thing? I suppose they are now - I got my peak yesterday lunchtime and both OPKs I have taken since also say peak, including FMU this morning. It’s great and I’m happy to see it, but as the day’s go on the worry increases about cycle length and/or LP. But I’ll keep fingers crossed this is just a delayed cycle - probs down to my anxiety!

How are you feeling?

@VP91x you are actually joking. I woke up and thought about the fate of a flasher this morning, but thought surely it’s smirking at you by now. Really hope you catch it on your next OPK. What time? xx

VP91x · 18/06/2020 08:16

@MichT4 my OPKs done that last month, peak around lunch then went back faint by early evening the next day.

I know! Ugh. Will test around 11/12 depending on how long I can hold for xx

@IWM20 @WellHurrahAndHuzzah I can imagine it’s hard to get too excited. It’s something I’m worried about because I really want to have the feeling in my last PG when you are just feeling excitement, busy planning in your head etc. But it’s hard when you’ve been through what we have. I wonder if there’s a point at which it gets easier. I hope so. I really want you ladies to stay with us, but I also really want you to feel confident enough to join a PG group, because you deserve to feel the excitement Xx

MichT4 · 18/06/2020 08:22

@VP91x did they? And what day did that mean you actually ovulated?

VP91x · 18/06/2020 08:33

@MichT4 probably easier to see on my chart from last month, got peak on CD19 and CD20 until the early evening. Then CD20 went completely negative and got my temp rise CD21 xx

@MichT4 sorry temp rise CD22 so ovulated Cd21 at some point xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 18/06/2020 08:46

Thanks @VP91x hopefully the next couple of days then. Better be celebrating a nice temp peak this weekend

SmileyT · 18/06/2020 08:47

@VP91x think that CB has to use FMU as its primarily looking for baseline of oestrogen so it needs relatively consistent readings but once you have flashys don't think it matters too much but I guess it also gives you consistency when it tells you in the morning so you know that day and next day are your peak days 🤷🏾‍♀️

VP91x · 18/06/2020 08:55

@SmileyT ah yeah that's true! Bloody things. Imagine the calls they get on their customer services line 😅 xx

OP posts:
SmileyT · 18/06/2020 09:06

@VP91x yeah I actually called them once when mine wouldn't sync but they were closed and i spent ages on google troubleshooting 😂 really hope I get some flashy smiles this month just as a change to break up my normal 5/6 blank circles

IWM20 · 18/06/2020 09:08

@VP91x I felt so stupid after my MC I didn't even think it would happen to me. I was getting carried away planning their room, family holidays, what school they'd go to 😂😂. It's hard because I think that's important to do to get your head around the huge changes that are going to happen but it makes it so much harder when it's all taken away. I found it really hard when a few (very insensitive) people would say "oh well you'll get pregnant again" and "it wasn't even a baby yet". They don't know all the plans I had for it, how hard I tried to get pregnant, how much it was wanted. Sorry, going off on a tangent now but MC is awful and I think the impact of it is so underestimated and so many people really don't understand it or talk openly about it. I have to say, I was surprised by how much it did affect me. Even though I'm pregnant again, I've still got that horrible resentful feeling for those who seem to have children with no issues. That's been the case with all the women in my family so far, 5 siblings and 3 neices/nephews and I'm the only one that's had a miscarriage. It just makes you wonder, why me? I pray pray pray this doesn't happen again. I'm so sorry you've been through it twice. I keep thinking "you've had one miscarriage, that's your bad luck. This one will be okay" but what if its not. Also wondering if here's a point when this feeling will stop but I'm not sure if it will xx

@MichT4 hopefully this can turn into the pregnancy board very soon 😊🤞 and we can all stress about that together instead of TTC 😂😂 xx

mrsssk · 18/06/2020 09:23

@IWM20 I dont think I’ll be before the TWW is over, mainly because like you I didn’t get a peak on OPKS, just some highs at roughly CD13/14, so I’m not entirely sure I’ve ovulated. Saying that, I’m 99% certain I’ll cave before that!
Not feeling confident that it’ll be my month, apart from super bloatedness, I’m not recognising any of the symptoms I had last time

@vp91x hoping the flashing smug face has made way for a static by now?!

VP91x · 18/06/2020 09:30

@SmileyT ooh you have the connected one! That's cool. Did you start testing any earlier to see if it does give you some flashies?

@IWM20 omg yes, I think that's the worst you really do mourn the life you planned. Your whole future changes for you and its so difficult to not have any choice whatsoever. But, we must always always remember the odds are in our favour to have a healthy full term pregnancy. It is definitely normal to feel resentful I think though, such a personal thing. It's such a leveller isn't it, until you've experienced it, it's hard to imagine. But stay positive I'm sure everything will turn out well for you and little bean ❤️

@mrsssk no 😭 I'm hoping later today 🤞

@Wishingfornumber2 how's your CB today xx

Morning girls - can anyone advise.. which do we trust more, cheapie opks or the CB digital? I only got a high-ish result on cheapie this morning, compared to solid peak smiley on digital.
To add to the confusion my Glow app says I will ov in 3 days time and my Fermometer one says it’s tomorrow haha!!
Weirdly ewcm has dried up a bit and I had loads past couple of days...
Probably TMI but there is no such thing on this thread!!! Grin

Diorissimo1985 · 18/06/2020 09:43

Btw reflexology was soooo relaxing yesterday, I would def recommend. Even if it doesn’t do anything it was lovely to do as I’ve had a rough few months with the consecutive losses.
The lady said she thought she identified issues with my fallopians, uterus and digestive system.... how accurate Miss Marple!!! Still, it was really relaxing and I enjoyed it x

MichT4 · 18/06/2020 09:48

@diorissimo1985 I’m writing myself out of having any knowledge of OPKs 😂
My apps are always slightly different. Are you putting the OPK photos into both?

Reflexology sounds delightful! Are there any claims around fertility? What do they do and how did she come to those conclusions?
Also, how many questions can one person ask? 😂
I’d love to treat myself to something like that. Mentioned acupuncture to OH yesterday and he seems nervous about needles being stuck in around reproductive organs. I have no idea about any of it really xx

Freddie15VES · 18/06/2020 09:50

Morning ladies, hope everyone’s doing well and staying positive! I had a horrible night, felt really overwhelmed and anxious about having another chemical pregnancy 😩 I’m sure I was just tired and feeling the motions of TTC. I am definitely ovulating by the way OH said he could even tell by wetness (sorry if tmi)!!! App says today is my peak, so we DTD this morning but OH couldn’t finish (think we have done it too much!!) will doing it tomorrow morning instead hurt? I’m still getting to grips with the journey of ovulation xx

Diorissimo1985 · 18/06/2020 09:53

@MichT4 yep I’m putting the photos in both apps. Told DH and he said best to just dtd every day for the next 4 days and I was like hmmm I bet you do 😂

I read a few threads on reflex on Mumsnet - it claims to release tension/issues through massaging particular points on Your feet that represent organs. To be honest it bloody hurt when she pressed near the inside of my heel which is apparently the uterus.
I have an acupuncture appointment today too (can you tell I am getting desperate?!) and I gather they just stick the needles in your back? Could be wrong but I will report back later.
Not getting anywhere fast with my referrals to rheumatologist or RMC so I’ve forced to turn to wizardry 😂

MichT4 · 18/06/2020 09:59

@diorissimo1985 of course he said that! These boys are loving life 😂

I love how positive you sound, it’s infectious. It’s making me want to book everything! Think it just feels nice to be doing something else, and it’s a bit of relaxation for you too (although sounds like more painful than relaxing 😂). Might definitely have a look for something - not much open round here yet. Look forward to hearing about acupuncture

@Freddie15VES I would say you’re absolutely fine to wait. Last thing you want to do is add pressure and it all feel forced. Enjoy DTD tomorrow and I’m sure you’ll be covered

MichT4 · 18/06/2020 10:01

And welcome @hampshirerose34. Are those medications for the PCOS?

hampshirerose34 · 18/06/2020 10:05

@MichT4 that's what my consultant gave me and said I have to take these as I am insulin resistant and this will help to level my hormones out to get pregnant.

Diorissimo1985 · 18/06/2020 10:14

@MichT4 ah that’s kind - I try to be positive but I do have my dark moments when I think about the healthy embryos my body just rejects ☹️ But you’ve just got to keep trying I suppose - what else can we do?
Much love to everyone - it’s hard but we’re all in it together and I find this thread so helpful and supportive xx

VP91x · 18/06/2020 10:19

Hey @Diorissimo1985 so interesting about the reflexology. Never knew they could find out so much via your feet!! Mental. Glad you have found it useful. How dark was your cheapie OPK? You might find that goes peak slightly later in the day?

Definitely dtd over the next few days so you're fully covered! Xx
