Glad everyone is doing well and good luck and baby dust to those of you on your 2ww. Just thought I'd share some exciting news for me.
These past 2 days I've decided to get up early and take myself out on a morning walk just me and my music. It may not seem much but for the last 12+ weeks I haven't gone anywhere without OH and the dog. I've been craving some alone time for a while but didn't want to hurt his feelings and felt guilty going for a walk without the dog. Anyway it must have done some good as yesterday I got a dark line on an opk! Tested twice later in the day and it had gone back to pale but I wasn't going to let that deter me. Today I got my first positive! It went dark so quickly. I normally sit there staring for the full 10 minutes but this one was obviously positive within a minute. I feel so relieved and happier than I've felt in a long time! I know it's only an opk and nothing as exciting as a bfp but for me it's made my day!
I felt some cramps when I was on the walk today which I guess was my ovaries waking up? Only slight worry is that technically for my old 30 day cycles I'm due af tomorrow. This wouldn't be a false positive from my body gearing up for af without ovulating would it?

@rosegold3112 it looks like a positive opk to me, fingers crossed for you.

Ooh @Rosegold3112 that looks promising! If af doesn't come will you do an hcg test?

Haha @Pol96 yes you are, hopefully I'll be in that TWW soon rather than the normal kind.

@Suki2020 I'm 3dpo but literally did it like 1.5 times after a positive opk 🤦🏼‍♀️ so not holding out any hope!! The positive surprised me on cd16 which was 10 days earlier than I was expecting, so hadn't got into regular DTD 😣 still, should mean a 30 day cycle this time which is amazing!

Really glad I have found this thread! New here but glad to see I’m not alone. It’s typical that me and DH decided to start ttc from my next cycle and then af just hasn’t come. I just want to start trying! Currently on cd52 which is the longest I’ve ever had. Usually 30-35. ThoughT just in case I’d do a test but all BFN. So out of curiosity did OPK for the last 4 days and it’s been getting darker over the last few days so maybe a late ovulation who knows

So the static smiley face finally went away so I could try another test this morning and it was a circle. I'm really confused by this all. First time using any opk, I did my first opk test on Sunday morning and it went straight to a solid static smiley face. We dtd Saturday, Sunday & Monday. And planning to dtd today. Have I missed it because no dtd yesterday or covered possible fertile days? Only used 2 opk sticks, any point using the rest?

@duckii if you had a static smiley face then you have ovulated sunday/Monday.

Thanks. Hopefully done enough. Is it best to dtd before and during ovulation. Or should you do it afterwards as well? It's exhausting! How's your 2ww going? Fingers crossed for us all!

@duckii well they say sperm can live up to 5days inside you so I’d say before and day after would be the best chance.

@Suki2020 I'm ok thanks. Been at work the past 3 days so that's kept me distracted. I've been spotting minority since yesterday, which is normal for when af is coming so feeling a bit down about that. Temps all over the place, like a freaking rollercoaster lol.

@newbie0818 What does your temp chart look like now? It definitely helps to have a distraction. I’m ok thanks, still no symptoms really other than the odd cramp and sore boobs

Here's the chart. No symptoms of anything other than the spotting.

@Suki2020 and sore boobs is good! Is that normal for you?

@Newbie0818 your temp still looks really good well above cover line. I always get sore boobs after ovulation so nothing unusual for me. Still no symptoms for me so not holding out much hope for this cycle.

@Suki2020 you never know! Pol96 said she didn't have symptoms I think, not out yet :)

@Newbie0818 I’ve just checked my cervix position and normally it’s low and medium/hard by this point in my cycle but tonight it’s high and medium but I also got a little bloody mucus come out on my finger. Sorry tmi. Never had this happen before

@Suki2020 that sounds exactly like mine! My spotting has been brown but no cramps, but when I checked my cervix just now my finger came out with clear discharge?! What is going on with us! Hopefully good signs...
