@Newbie0818 are you 2days late now with af? At least it’s still above the cover line. Mine went up again this morning. But still no symptoms other than sore boobs.

Long Cycle girls TTC #2

Hi, I've been reading some of the posts but thought I would join in now. I'm TTC #2, we did try last 2 months but did not focus on ovulation tests etc. So I thought I would try this month. I have long cycles.. and they vary each month but average is 42 days. I'm on CD 23, expected period is 18th of July. Estimated ovulation is around 4th/5th July? I needed some advice, I just ordered clear blue advanced ovulation tests yesterday and thought I would try my first test this morning with FMU and it went to a static smiley face. What does this mean? Have I missed this month Sad we did DTD last night though! So confused with these tests! Xx

Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 09:31

Hi @duckii a static smiley face means you are about to ovulate. Keep DTD today and tomorrow. They say ovulation is about 12-36 hours after you get your peak.

Pol96 · 28/06/2020 11:32

@Newbie0818 hi I'm okay thanks 😊 was my birthday yesterday so saw a few friends and family in the garden. Was nice seeing people but also strange given social distancing! Had to go to the doctors Thursday as I thought I had a uti.. He tested but nothing, thinks it was just my uterus squishing my bladder. He still didn't actually test for pregnancy!! 10+3 now and still waiting on my scan letter. But my hospital is letting partners go to the scans from the 6th July so I'm hoping my scans after the 6th!

My temp went up and down but stayed above cover line, you're not out yet Newbie!

@Suki2020 your chart looks very good!

Newbie0818 · 28/06/2020 12:39

@Suki2020 apparently so. I'm not too hopeful though.

@Pol96 wow! That's good though!
I've got a few cramps today so I've put on a pad and hoping af stays away!

Darcy86 · 28/06/2020 12:59

Hi @Newbie0818 - just saying, I had cramps that felt exactly like AF and I was 2 days late when I got a v strong positive on a FRER so you never know Smile

I am fine thank you, believe I'm around 5+3, symptoms still pretty mild - slightly tender boobs, the odd wave of v mild nausea, and some fatigue in the afternoons. Have managed to stop doing tests, I did my last cb digital on Friday and got my "3+" so will try to wait now until my first appointment which is coming up on the 9th July. Have been a bit anxious generally, worrying that something is going to go wrong, but I think that's pretty normal. Keep us updated on how you get on xx

Newbie0818 · 28/06/2020 13:19

Thanks @Darcy86 I guess it's a waiting game isn't it. Aww so happy for you, it must be nerve wracking though x

SarahTTC2020 · 28/06/2020 14:42

DTD in the end yesterday after a positive opk Friday so FC ! Will try again today too just to make sure and then it's TWW again! Should mean I have a 30 day cycle which seems strange after a year of long ones since coming off the pill

duckii · 28/06/2020 15:29

@Suki2020

Hi *@duckii* a static smiley face means you are about to ovulate. Keep DTD today and tomorrow. They say ovulation is about 12-36 hours after you get your peak.
Thanks. But it was the first ovulation test I have done, would that happen? I was thinking it was an error or maybe I have too much LH? Confused
Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 16:12

@duckii yeah you can ovulate anytime especially as you are cd23. Mine changes every month. Last month I ovulated on cd50 this month I ovulated on cd29. I would test again today and tomorrow though

Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 16:14

@Pol96 thanks I’m keeping everything crossed, even though I have no symptoms this cycle.
@Newbie0818 I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. How are you feeling?

Newbie0818 · 28/06/2020 17:47

@Suki2020 feeling ok :) but crampy today but other than that nothing out of the norm. Dry as anything down there lol which is normal for me before af so not expecting much else.
How you feeling?

Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 19:49

@Newbie0818 yeah I’m ok, been feeling a little tired late this afternoon, didn’t sleep great last night kept dreaming, so decided to take the dog for a walk which helped. Still no symptoms, but I have become spotty today 😩

Newbie0818 · 28/06/2020 20:19

@Suki2020 eeek! Do you normally dream? Hopefully a good sign :)

Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 21:17

@Newbie0818 yeah I dream quite a lot but the last two nights have been really weird and vivid.

Pol96 · 28/06/2020 21:26

@Suki2020 I didn't really have symptoms either.. Still don't particularly.. I do get some crazy vivid dreams though... When are you testing?

Suki2020 · 28/06/2020 21:47

@pol96 I’m on 7dpo so probably not until af is late which would be 6th July.

Suki2020 · 29/06/2020 09:11

@Newbie0818 how’s your temp this morning?

Pol96 · 29/06/2020 10:19

@Suki2020 hope your next week of the TWW goes well!

Newbie0818 · 29/06/2020 15:11

@Suki2020 interesting! I always have vivid dreams so that won't ever be a symptom haha!
My temp went right back up again today :)

Suki2020 · 29/06/2020 16:19

@Newbie0818 aww that’s a really good sign. How many DPO are you now?

Newbie0818 · 29/06/2020 16:30

@Suki2020 apparently 13dpo :)

Suki2020 · 29/06/2020 16:33

Are you still holding out to test? Have you got any symptoms?

Suki2020 · 29/06/2020 16:34

@Pol96 thank you hun

Newbie0818 · 29/06/2020 17:11

@Suki2020 yeah still holding out although it's hard haha. No symptoms that I can think of tbh. I've had all the early pg symptoms on previous cycles as af was found the corner so not even bothering to look into anything. Dh said my boobs look bigger 🤷🏼‍♀️
How are you coping?
