@Pol96 Gosh that's going to be hard, hopefully it'll go fast! Ah bet it's lovely seeing the baby. If all is ok in 3 weeks we're going to book a private scan so my husband can come. Hope the next set of scans all go well for you x

xoJellyBean · 17/08/2020 20:46

Girls I've had really heavy bleeding and tmi quite large clots. I have been up during the night with the bleeding twice to change. GP think it's a suspected miscarriage/chemical 😱

Pol96 · 17/08/2020 20:59

Thanks @Tink2019, good luck for your scan too

@xoJellyBean Omg.. Are you okay, how do you feel if it is? Have you taken a test to see if there's anything on it? Even if it's a miscarriage /chemical I reckon hcg will show up..

xoJellyBean · 17/08/2020 21:06

@Pol96 I'm not sure tbh, wasn't even ttc so I think that maybe helps... The gp also said about a test but I'm in two minds about testing 😭 if it comes up positive I might be worse? I'm in so much pain this time and I just knew I've never had a period as bad as this, especially the clots!

OP posts:
Pol96 · 17/08/2020 21:14

@xoJellyBean I totally get that.. Maybe think of it this way though.. If the test is positive then you did conceive.. Which means you can again, and if for some horrible reason you need any kind of fertility treatment or investigations done then they're more likely to do it earlier because of it? But totally understand if you don't want to know, have they given you something for the pain? x

Tink2019 · 17/08/2020 21:57

@xoJellyBean For what it's worth I agree with @Pol96...you might feel sad if you see a positive but it's good to have that info. If the test is negative then could it be down to change in diet (I reduced sugars and carbs last cycle and had the only clot-free non-heavy period I've ever had) or medication? I hope you're ok xx

duckii · 17/08/2020 22:44

@Tink2019 that's good news. The worry never ends! Hoping your scan goes well and in the meantime, try to relax.

@xoJellyBean oh no, I agree with @Pol96 but do what you think Is best. Hope you're ok.

SarahTTC2020 · 17/08/2020 22:56

Oh @xojellybean hope you're ok

xoJellyBean · 17/08/2020 23:22

Thanks all... still not sure what to do tbh! We are in the middle of a mortgage application too and the stress is high. Also started the soy today so I hope it doesn't mess with anything. Bleeding is still heavy and by now I'm usually starting to slow down, I'm really tired too but I guess I'll only know the answer if I do a test tomorrow. Hope everyone else is keeping well x

@xoJellyBean How are you feeling this morning? x

Suki2020 · 18/08/2020 08:40

@xoJellyBean oh no! Hope you are ok. Can the doctors give you anything for the pain?

Suki2020 · 18/08/2020 08:45

Hi ladies how are you all? I’m cd11 today. I have my ultrasound scan up the hospital this evening, and I’m starting to stress about it now. I have to have an ultrasound scan on outside with a full bladder and then an internal with an empty bladder 😬 then I have to wait until next wed for an appointment with my gynaecologist to tell me the results.

SarahTTC2020 · 18/08/2020 10:03

@Suki2020 you will be fine, it'll be a nervous wait though I'm sure

I'm cd39 now and 16dpo and at the stage of popping to the loo every hour because I feel like AF has started 😔 very annoying I wish she would just hurry up so I can get started with a new cycle

hollywhooo · 18/08/2020 10:21

@xoJellyBean i hope you’re okay!!
I’m mega stressing. Had my blood test results this morning, they’re saying i’ve got low progestrone but giving me zero steps of what to do next and asked if i’m in a position to go private as my NHS referral is delayed due to covid. So fed up of being fobbed off. I do have private cover through work but not sure what it will cover. If anyone has any advice on how to increase my levels please let me know xx

Tink2019 · 18/08/2020 15:26

@Suki2020 an internal ultrasound is what I had to have yesterday - it's honestly fine. Can completely understand that the waiting will be tough though. Good you're getting things ticked off though.

@hollywhooo assume they did the test on day 21 (or the equivalent if you have long cycles)? If not, the results will be meaningless. If they were done on the correct day have they said that they're low enough to be indicative of no ovulation? If so, a fertility specialist might give you Clomid. It's what I was prescribed but as you ladies know I decided to try the soy isoflavones first. I also took B6 after O to keep progesterone levels high (apparently it can help) x

xoJellyBean · 18/08/2020 15:41

@Tink2019 was up again during the night but now it has stopped completely! Mind is racing now wish I never rang 😂 decided not to test in the end. How are you today?

@hollywhooo I apparently have low progesterone too! Although i didn't have tests but that's what my temps suggest apparently... why don't you look in to going private anyway? I think I would do that!

OP posts:
Suki2020 · 18/08/2020 16:19

Thanks @Tink2019. How are you feeling today? x

hollywhooo · 18/08/2020 18:00

Aww thanks girls thats reassuring. I’d have been day 16 when they did the test. They’ve said they cant do the day 21 tests due to how irregular i am. I’ll speak to the dr again tomorrow and see what she says.
Hope everyone is okay xxx

Tink2019 · 18/08/2020 18:13

I'm feeling ok thank you @Suki2020 and @xoJellyBean. How odd, but good, it's just's suddenly stopped x

@hollywhooo I'd honestly take them with a pinch of salt because if you were still in your follicular phase a low level is good. I have irregular cycles so I booked in after I'd had a positive OPK and temps had risen as luteal phase tends to stay the same x

xoJellyBean · 19/08/2020 23:44

Is anyone taking soy this month?!🤪

OP posts:
Elakiya · 20/08/2020 08:24

@xoJellyBean I shared @Tink2019 post on another thread and someone there is taking it. I myself haven’t I read that it’s not good for PCOS so I thought I’d just wait to be put on clomid. Are you trying it this month?

@Tink2019 How are you? Are there any updates on how baby is doing. I have my fingers crossed that everything goes well for you.

duckii · 20/08/2020 08:35

@xoJellyBean

Is anyone taking soy this month?!🤪
Me! Taken my lost dose yesterday. Have you started taking it?
SarahTTC2020 · 20/08/2020 08:36

@xoJellyBean I'm tempted as I'm.cd41 and 18dpo with no AF (have tested twice at 14/17dpo). Think maybe I didn't ovulate this cycle so taking something is tempting

Tink2019 · 20/08/2020 08:38

I'm good thank you @Elakiya - no more updates, I have another scan in a few weeks to see if there's a heartbeat as think they're still concerned about my very high pregnancy hormone levels, so I'm just anxiously waiting for that x

Fingers crossed for you @duckii!

restingbface · 20/08/2020 09:04

@xoJellyBean me also! Got my last dose tonight, I’m taking 200mg tonight. I haven’t had any side effects has anyone else?
