Anyone else DTD few days before ov?! 2WW

DTD with my partner on Saturday which makes it cycle day 13 for me. I ovulate around cycle day 15/16. So today or tomorrow. I can’t DTD today so I have to stick with my partners swimmers from Saturday. Wondering if I’m still in with a chance this month 😕I know it takes hours for egg to be released and sperm live for a few days but I’m still thinking I’m out. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Hi @Leobaby sorry AF arrived, that's rubbish. Did you say your birthday is next month? Fingers crossed for a Birthday BFP if it is :) and at least you had chocolate ready to go lol. How are you doing now?

@RobinRose I am ok thanks, just waiting for AF now. I'm on CD27 so could be any day now. I definitely don't feel like I'll be pregnant this month unfortunately as have zero symptoms but I'm not too bothered as its been a weird cycle after the chemical pregnancy last month. How are you doing?

I had a dream last night that I got a really clear BFP and it just seems a bit cruel now. Everyone I know is getting pregnant or getting close to their due dates and I find myself getting a little bit tired of it all, especially the waiting for AF each month and analysing everything even when I try not too. Its exhausting isn't it.

Sorry for the moan, I've just had some tests delivered and I don't even want to do one as I know its going to be negative.

@csari oh really? I hope af doesn't drag her heels and shows soon! Still a chance for that bfp! That must be really shitty for you at the moment, your time will come soon lovely!! But yes it is bloody exhausting, mentally, emotionally and physically! No need to apologise, moan away!! I would say put them away (out of sight out of mind) and if af is late then test 🤞

I'm ok thanks, today is CD29 for me and 14 dpo I think, I decided to test and got a BFP which I really didn't expect at all this month tbh. I'm really pleased but also a hugely nervous as I have literally no symptoms and after last month I keep worrying that it will be another chemical/early loss so I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

I'm not telling anyone this time either as last month I told my best friend and it was soo hard having to telling her that I wasn't pregnant anymore, this time I'll keep it up myself until the scan if I get that far.

I wasn't sure whether to tell him but he came upstairs and saw me checking the test so he guessed from my expression lol. He is pleased but is trying not to get excited after last time so he hasn't eally mentioned it since.

You are so right, I'm going to try to take it day by day and not stress as I know it doesn't change anything. I just really hope it works out this time.

I have no idea if I ovulated or not this month, had another migraine this morning 😑 I do seem to be relatively chilled this month though, no idea why 😂

Hey ladies so sorry I’ve been taking time to myself these last few days! @RobinRose how are you? When’s af due? @Csari yes my birthday is this month! On the 15th but I ovulate a few day’s before so whether I’m with my partner then is doubtful. So I don’t think it’ll be this month! And omg!!! That’s so amazing you got your bfp! I’m so happy for you and keeping my fingers crossed for you! How are you today?
@SK2970 I’m okay thank you. And no, but we’re taking it as it comes still. If it happens it happens but we’re not gonna actively try! (We do really want a baby though) I don’t live with him that’s why.. so when I do ovulate I’m never with him and I won’t be this month! It’s stressful for both of us and not living together and being able to progress is taking an impact on our relationship. I’m hoping next year we’ll have everything sorted. X

@Leobaby no need to apologise, we all need time out fir ourselrves! I'm on cd16 I think, af has been arriving around cd26-27! Im trying not to keep track, i don't want to get fixated when af should be arriving! Might be why I'm quite chilled 🤣

@RobinRose will you be talking to your gp for some advice and what they think if you don’t conceive this month? Maybe test your partners sperm count again see if it’s improved?

@Leobaby yeah we will get another sperm count done if we don't conceive by October (thats when we started trying) I hope so but i just feel like giving up at the moment.

@Leobaby @RobinRose it sounds totally boring but I'm going to sort out ny garden lol I've grown veg in it for the past couple of years and it looks more like an allotment than a garden now so I'm going to change it around and have some flower beds instead lol. Definitely not exciting.

@Csari doesn't sound boring at all! I would love to do my garden but I am not very green fingered, I know nothing about gardening! I have managed to grow a sunflower from the start of lockdown though! Some of the leaves are a bit dishevelled but it bloomed over the weekend 🌻 😊 so happy i have not killed it (yet)!! Thank you, Yes it is utterly bloody rubbish!!

Woke up with a migraine this morning so pretty sure af will be making an appearance 😔
