Anyone else DTD few days before ov?! 2WW

DTD with my partner on Saturday which makes it cycle day 13 for me. I ovulate around cycle day 15/16. So today or tomorrow. I can’t DTD today so I have to stick with my partners swimmers from Saturday. Wondering if I’m still in with a chance this month 😕I know it takes hours for egg to be released and sperm live for a few days but I’m still thinking I’m out. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

@RobinRose yes, I’m throwing it your way now! Yeah that is true, I will suggest it to him. He is healthy & fit to be honest, very active likes to keep his body in shape. Hm, I might download a few more and see if they work at predicting it! Ah okay, I guess that’s a bonus if tells you exactly when ovulated if you can get a quick one in exactly that time lol!

Oh no really? That’s awful. I get migraines often too. It’s horrific! Hoping you’re feeling better today? Hm well you still have a week to go until your af arrives. Maybe it could be possible implantation?! X

Good morning @SK2970 how are you? I’ve not so far, still kind of feel like there’s a dull pain around my ovaries lmao! But who knows at this point. I will track my cm today. Should hopefully tell me if I ovulated or not. And oh no! UTIs are the worst! How are you feeling now? It’s annoying as most symptoms of af coming are so similar to pregnancy ones. You’ll have to keep us updated!
To be honest, I’m going to settle my head and say I’m out so I don’t have to go crazy during the 2WW, also if af arrives I shouldn’t be too disappointed as well. But In your case you should be pretty clear, seeing as you’ve done it every other day near ovulation so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼X

@Leobaby well temping only let's you now you have ovulated after its been and gone! Yeah migraines are pretty rank, I usually get them around ovulation and af! I am feeling better! Hmm it couldn't be but I'm taking the migraine and the pains yesturday (more today) that af is on its way x 😑

@Leobaby no too not long really. We've not been trying particularly constantly if I'm honest, so this is the first month that we've actually tried to make sure we DTD around the right time.

@Leobaby aww I'm sad that you have ruled it out when still so far to go.. but I do get it completely!! Nothing worse than AF arriving!! I'm feeling much better thank you, hoping that I have got rid of it with drinking loads of water!! The problem is that I now can't stop peeing haha

I have found a thread which shows resting HR trends on the fitbit so now watching that daily!
When is everybody due to test? Anybody a serial early tester?

Hi @SK2970 I am going to try and wait until after AF is due this month, just to save some money. Last month I had so many symptoms from a few days past ovulation that I ended up testing early. Annoyingly it was a duff test with a weird half line so I ended up having to get another pack of tests and spending more than I wanted to lol.
I always feel like its less disappointing if I know before AF arrives though, I would hate to be late and get my hopes up then have a bfp anyway.

How about you?

@Csari I'm doing OK! Migraine has gone so thats a bonus 🙂 hope you don't have to go too many cycles until you get your bfp!

@SK2970 I won't test unless af is late, I am hoping I get a chance to test on my birthday though! (22nd). How about you?

@SK2970 well, I still have ewcm! So have I ovulated or not I just don’t know lol, could it be old ewcm travelling down? Who knows. And that’s good, nothing worse than a UTI literally can’t cope with them. I use to get them 24/7 id cry because of how bad and painful it was. Horrendous.

Well if af is late, then I will test probably around 2nd July!

I’m very emotional today too, not sure what’s going on lol. Probably having a bad day!

@RobinRose I have vowed not to test until AF due on 27th, but already considering getting some early response ordered!!

Thank you @SK2970. I’ve had a bad day today, I now have a migraine and want to throw up! Think my hormones definitely are all over the place as well as my head lol.
Well I need to stock up on my opks and I’m gonna try temping maybe.

@Leobaby I will try to start looking at it like its only been 3 months! So worried the procedure scar back over (this van happen after a year) why can't baby making be more simple 😑🤣 i hope youd migraines buggered off? I find paracetamol with caffeine in helps to ease them (can't take my migraine meds while ttc!) x

@SK2970 I bought a first response and clear blue digital at the start of the year, I had a very odd month and thought I was pregnant but noooo af was just late 😑 so I have them for when I'm ready!

No i won't do anything different, try dtd a couple more times during fertile week maybe? I just have a 'meh fuck it' attitude at the moment, I don't want to stress over opks and timed sex every month. Might have another month off opks then go back to them? Should hear about my 21day bloods today so that might change everything! Will you do anything differently?

@Leobaby hope your migraine has eased! Thankfully I only rarely get them!

Not sure I would do anything different other than hopefully not get a UTI which stops us DTD during fertile week. I'm not ready for OPKs yet or checking CM, just can't face it!

Struggling this morning with UTI, have pains all round waiting for dr to call back for some lovely antibiotics!

@SK2970 do you get a lot of UTIs? I have read that not moving for a while after sex can cause them? Hope it clears up for you soon!

My bloods came back 'satisfactory' so thats good! I didnt think to ask for more details so will have to call back 🤦🏼‍♀️

@RobinRose no, it's very rare!! But expect the increase in DTD and the increased time I have left before going to the loo after has caused it! I had a telephone appointment with the dr this morning and he prescribed antibiotics...told me to 'get well before trying again' which made me laugh as there is no way I can consider DTD right now!!

Glad your bloods have come back satisfactory! It's always that way when on a phone call and think of the questions after! Could you ask for a breakdown of the bloods and the normal ranges, and is there anything you can do make them even better?

@SK2970 oh thats good it doesn't happen often! Doesn't sound the nicest of things to have! Men don't seem to suffer with anything while ttc do they 😑🤣 yeah thats what I was thinking of asking them!

Afternoon @RobinRose & @SK2970. My migraine has gone now thank you. I took ibuprofen & paracetamol. Feel better today, but I have only just woken up lol🙈think I’m gonna class myself as 1dpo today ladies. Just hopefully swimmers from Saturday made it, or am I wasting my time?🤔I’ve read lots that people conceived from dtd once even as far back as 5 days before ov? I like to use opks obviously it helps and I just find it so interesting as well!😂 how little things like that can track such things. And now I’m curious about the temping too! My temp is always high tho when Ive tried it in the past it’s usually 38. So it would be interesting for me to track it. I’m very into the human body lol! But I think next time I would like to definitely dtd more times near ov, but like I’ve said we weren’t really trying.
And your bloods @RobinRose. Satisfactory is good, I hate it when they don’t give more details than that. Definitely ask them for more, it’s what my mum does she finds out exactly what number/level it is etc and will find remedies to make it better herself! But even then, satisfactory means normal so, think you’re definitely ovulating! How are your pains? Still think af is coming? X

@SK2970 sometimes too much sex can cause a uti too, especially if you’re not fully wet you know.. 😂us woman can’t have a day off can we? Well let’s hope your swimmers are strong too and made it to your ovulation! Just get those antibiotics and rest😊

I know, I will have to ask the doctor to call me back and explain 🤦🏼‍♀️ pains cams back midday today! So I'm certain af will be making an appearance tonight/tomorrow!
