@LV1987 i'm nowhere near as smart as you as i work in a cafe as a supervisor, one day someone asked me if i could go and get the manager and then proceeded to point through the doors to the only male member of the team who just so happened to be the oldest also at around 50. i've always wanted to turn around and say that's me and i got to do it. the look on their face was priceless 😂 but how dare they think the manager would be older and male! its ridiculous

Been a shit week not just because of ds but now neighbours all out arguing with me about a bloody parking space! Apparently they don't like me cos I not from here (Scottish living in Northern Ireland)

Hes working now with a mental health group and taking it one day at a time 🤞

i know how you feel about the parking space 😂 when OH and i lived seperately to begin with and i would stay there every so often hed park on the drive or down the side of the house and i would park on a drop down kerb in front of a hedge next to his drive which is where he used to oark and had done for the last 5 years and then a new neighbour moved in next door and they left a note on my car titled "madam lucy" bearing in mind i had no idea who they were and then it proceeded to say how i was pissing her off 😂😂

@unluckyducky - I think this might just be the joys of working in a school. We've had 9 pregnancies across our trust this acadmic year and when the last one was accounced in Janaury, I over heard our CEO say "I hope no one else is planning on getting pregnant". We had just started trying at the time and I had hoped it would happen quickly.

@unluckyducky we've just removed all of our 85% lending aswell 😩 so crap for so many people but I think most banks are scared that there will be a price crash so want to move away from small deposit mortgages, but I hope by the end of the year we'll be back to normal 🙌🏾

So awful hearing the stories about sexism at work, i worked in a pretty male dominated broker job where my boss once said in a team meeting to the other men, 'any guy that says that he hasn't imagined bending the girls over the desk and fucking them is lying' and as it was a tiny firm he used to have a running joke of call HR when there was no HR 🙈 I actually had to take 2yrs off work after that role and it mentally battered me. So really feel for ladies still in that environment.

Oh wow @SmileyT I think I would have had to kick him in the bollocks...! You've just reminded me of another fun one I've endured actually. When I was training, I attended a dinner with a few colleagues and potential clients. Myself and a lady I'm still very close friends with were chatting away to one of the clients when he tried to slip us his room key and said he would send us all of his work if one of us sucked him off. I must have been early 20s at the time, and remember one of the older ladies we worked with swooping in as she'd overheard the suggestion. She gave him a massive dressing down, and I was so grateful for it. Although I love that the women around me always seem to have my back, it's so sad that they need to!

@LV1987 it's literally hilarious! and also when someone asks you something and then they say can i speak to the manager and the manager says exactly the same thing you have just said and you have to try and hide the smug look on your face 😂😂😂 it was pretty funny, TADA that is me you're asking for 😂 i mean i am pretty clever but i've never actually done anything with it as i got pregnant with DS when i was 16 in the middle of doing AS levels and never got back to education yet! im sure you're very smart 🤪🤩

These work stories are awful! It really does highlight that sexism is still a very real problem in the workplace!
I've not experienced anything as bad as some ladies on here but the number of times that people have angrily told me that they wanted to "see a doctor not a nurse" is shocking. Firstly, I AM the doctor and, secondly, don't be so bloody dismissive of the wonderful hard-working nurses!
I did get told that I was the reason the NHS was failing once though, as apparently we just want to go part time and have babies and waste the money that has been invested in our training 🙈 I mean...partly true as I would definitely want to go part time if I had kids, but still not a great thing to hear from someone you work with every day!

@LV1987 honestly he was the worst man I've ever met in my life, I'm not anti-men but just anti-twats and this guy was the epitome of the word. He used to slag his wife off no end then cheat on her quite openly, first work night out we went on he took me to a killing kitten party (basically a sex party) him and his best mate who was the head of brokers for a very prestigious London estate agents. Both married both disgusting and had absolutely no respect for women. One good things about working for a big firm, just can't get away this shit, especially when the CEO is a women. P.S excited for you to test tomorrow 🤞 🤞

@Katecolx the preseed is totally doable, just go "brush your teeth" (stick lube up you, you'll see it comes with handy syringes!) we've just used one, & my bullett, we don't find it off putting 🤣

Honestly the housing market round here seems really buoyant but we are only just starting to look & only for absolutely the right thing so I hadn't really looked into the mortgage side much other than thinking about the potential for a buy to let instead & what that might involve. But 2 of the houses I wanted to see have already come into the market & now got offers, in 2 weeks 😬
