Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

I say that every month haha

honeysun101 · 14/07/2020 10:04

How is everyone doing?

Sorry to those who've had AF arrive/BFNs, fingers crossed for next month 🤞🏼

Looks like I did ovulate this month! I'm 1DPO if my OPKs were correct, wanted to ask if anyone had sore boobs during ovulation? Started yesterday and is giving me war flash backs from breastfeeding.

Doubtful I'll be pregnant this month as we only DTD the day before I ovulated as my OH has had to go and work away. (Or is this a good day to DTD? I don't know what I'm doing!)

whambam89 · 14/07/2020 10:11

@honeysun101 I've noticed the last couple of months that I've had sore boobs from 1dpo, Google says it's because of high progesterone and a good sign you did ovulate :)

honeysun101 · 14/07/2020 10:15

@whambam89 phew, at least I'm not imagining it!

Boc86 · 14/07/2020 10:47

Progesterone definitely gives me sore boobs and period type cramps I’m getting it every month after ov, roughly 4-8dpo

whambam89 · 14/07/2020 14:02

Another couple of symptoms that have appeared during the day so far - randomly got heartburn after my breakfast this morning (probably unrelated but I don't usually get it) and just had weird almost shooting pains around my right ovary followed by loads of cm 🤷🏻‍♀️
I really don't feel like this is my month but they're a couple of symptoms I've not had in previous cycles

Jaym78 · 14/07/2020 14:29

Hi all, sorry ite been a while. Seems last month I hadn't gone mad, I had a chemical pregnancy.. I'm ok...

@honeysun101 hi... Last month I had the most painful boobs from ovulation all the way until bleeding. One night I had to go down and put ice packs on, never had anything like it.

Notsure if I've missed some messages but congrats to the BFPs and aww thinking of the bfns, soon be our time.

So sadly this month it was advised to take morning after pill.. We were actively trying till confirmed chemical pregnancy. So I'd say I'm out.. Only levonelle says it only works if u hadn't already ovulate and I thunk I had? Any advice or experience with this please ladies??

Also using ovia.. And today it's said looks like a shift in my cycle and I'm fertile for the second time this month??? , any advice??

Thanks all hope your all well x

Tigger1987 · 14/07/2020 14:34

@Whambam89 That is lots of positive symptoms. They sound really promising especially as you have not had those symptoms before.

@honeysun101 Some cycles I have sore boobs pretty much straight after ovulation. It is amazing what progesterone can do to our bodies.

Still no AF. For the past 3 months my cycles have been 25 days, with a couple of 26 dayers before that. I am currently on day 29 but I did ovulate 2 or 3 days later then previous cycle so it makes sense for this cycle to be longer. I currently haven't had a cycle this long though since last September. My temperature dropped again this morning and a BFN yesterday morning. I just want AF to arrive so I can move on to the next cycle!

Tigger1987 · 14/07/2020 14:45

@Jaym78 I am ever so sorry, sending over a big hug. Unfortunately I am unable to offer any advice but one of the other ladies will hopefully be able to. xx

whambam89 · 14/07/2020 14:52

@tigger1987 I feel like I convince myself every month so I wouldn't be surprised if they're just new random symptoms for me, and I'm still not even a little bit tempted to test. AF will be here by Friday if my LP is the same length as the last 2 cycles.

How frustrating for you that your body is playing tricks! Do you have any symptoms that you could be heading for a bfp?

Tigger1987 · 14/07/2020 15:02

@whambam89 I do exactly the same. I normally start the 2ww not feeling confident and then get about halfway through and hit the "what if" stage. It also doesn't help that so much can effect our bodies can't it. You are doing well not testing! When do you think you will test?

No symptoms other then usual AF arriving symptoms e.g. sore boobs, sore lower back and a heavy feeling. Also really moody!!!

whambam89 · 14/07/2020 15:05

@tigger1987 they could also be symptoms that lead to a bfp! How many dpo are you now?

I think I'll probably test at the weekend if there's no sign of AF, but she'll probably show up before then knowing my luck! My app says AF isn't due until next Tuesday but I'm guessing that's just based on a standard 14 day LP.

krj2608 · 14/07/2020 18:22

@Jaym78

Hello

So sorry to hear you sad news. I had a chemical also last month and was advised the same as you. I queried why as I was told to continue trying with my son when I miscarried at 9 weeks 6 years ago. I fell pregnant with him two weeks after my miscarriage. They were able to date the pregnancy and my son is healthy. The response was it's so they can date it properly, nothing to do with it being safe or cycles getting back to normal. We decided to continue trying, I'm in my 30s and husband is heading towards 40. We didn't want to wait x

Boc86 · 14/07/2020 19:07

I’ve never heard of having to take the MAP after a chemical, wouldn’t they just date your pregnancy from ovulation or your 12 week scan?
I believe I had a chemical last month

I’ve also got heartburn same as I did last month from 5dpo but I know it’s not a pregnancy symptom as this is before implantation x

honeysun101 · 14/07/2020 20:48

So sorry to hear 3 of you lovely ladies have had chemicals last month 😔 sending love to you all x

Boc86 · 14/07/2020 21:45

Thank you @honeysun101
It was rubbish because the nausea carried on during my period so I had pregnancy symptoms and my period at the same time!

whambam89 · 15/07/2020 08:05

How is everyone this morning? @leopardlover any sign of AF?

kirinm · 15/07/2020 08:06

How many dpo are you now @whambam89 ? When do you think you'll test?

whambam89 · 15/07/2020 08:21

@kirinm 9dpo today, going to wait until 12dpo to test. AF has shown up on 10/11dpo the last couple of months so I figure I'll be officially late by 12dpo if AF doesn't come. It's weird that by this point I'm usually desperate to poas but I think I'm just so past seeing a BFN now. How are you getting on?

SS123456 · 15/07/2020 08:37

Fingers crossed for you ladies 🤞🏻😊

My bbt is still raised at 13dpo and am now on my 3rd day of (brown) spotting. All tests have been BFN though

The July Pact....
whambam89 · 15/07/2020 08:53

@ss123456 you're definitely not out yet then! Fingers crossed for you too.

I feel like I'm probably not pregnant but am at that point where it's all I can think about and I spend my spare time scrolling Mumsnet😂

kirinm · 15/07/2020 09:26

@whambam89 fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

I'm okay thanks. I feel a lot less stressed now I'm not symptom spotting. I think I'm going to try and avoid testing next month. And despite all the guessing I think I do really know when I'm pregnant so I don't need to spend my time googling! My body did trick me this month with no backache or cramping before AF so I'll know that isn't a symptom either!

SS123456 · 15/07/2020 09:29

@whambam89 it's so consuming isn't it! I've been TTC for 10 months now and I feel like it is over shadowing my life as I just end up wishing weeks away

kirinm · 15/07/2020 09:35

@whambam89 that's how I was last week. Barely working and couldn't think of anything else. It's too much for me. I'm going to do my best to put it all to the back of my mind next month. I'm half tempted not to buy OPKs tbh.

LeopardLover · 15/07/2020 09:57

@SS123456 @whambam89 I can relate to wishing time away, and being distracted at work @kirinm. I hope my period comes today, I know me fretting is probably making it late 😅
