Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

@SS123456 i started undergoing fertility tests with my first after 14 months of trying. I found out at the appointment that I was pregnant. The only thing I did different was taking the vitamins in the photo below and opks.

krj2608 · 13/07/2020 08:06

Congratulations @Babyyno2 that's a lovely strong line!

claireb707 · 13/07/2020 08:12

Cycle 12 day 1 😢😢😢😢

Am struggling now, especially as I was 41 last week. Time is really not on my side

SS123456 · 13/07/2020 08:13

Thanks @krj2608 ! I've been taking supplements for about 18 months and have used opks since the start so feeling really despondent now. I'll be 37 in October and feel like time is running out

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 08:17

@claireb707 sorry to hear AF has arrived :(

LeopardLover · 13/07/2020 08:25

@whambam89 It's definitely still long enough! Fingers crossed for you. 😊

@SS123456 Oh I'm sorry 😔 It's positive your blood test came back normal, even though that doesn't explain what's happening. Sorry I can't offer any additional insight!

I had bad cramping all through the night, BBT dropped again and AF is due today - rather just get this show on the road!

Babyyno2 · 13/07/2020 08:26
@babyyno2 did you do anything differently this month at all?
I did ovulation tests with the CB ones. So it helped a lot of pin point my 2 most fertile days. I felt a little less stressed and tried not to worry as much. I didn't want to put to much pressure on myself and DH. But if you haven't I would highly recommend getting the ovulation kits

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 08:39

@babyyno2 we used them for the first time this month too - 7dpo today so fingers crossed. I definitely feel less stressed than last month knowing that we DTD during the right time frame. I'm only on cycle 2 so don't really expect them to work this month but we'll see!

SS123456 · 13/07/2020 09:04

Thanks @LeopardLover . I'm sorry to hear that you think AF is on the way for you too

BuckleUp · 13/07/2020 09:25

@SS123456 the new link for anyone joining on August thread is: August - might be a pact....might be madness www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3963049-august-might-be-a-pact-might-be-madness

@LeopardLover sorry to hear AF feels imminent, there's always a chance until she does though 🤞🏻

Sorry to all those who's AF has arrived. Congratulations @Babyyno2 and @HeadShouldersKnees

Welcome to the new joiners 😊

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 09:26

@leopardlover sorry that you think AF is going to show up soon :(

7dpo today and the cramps I had yesterday have stopped, boobs are a bit tender but no other symptoms of AF or BFP (although I suppose it's still early either way)

Boc86 · 13/07/2020 09:31

Aww sorry for AF arriving @claireb707 and @SS123456

Alyosha · 13/07/2020 09:53

Test this am - bfn unless you do the mental gymnastics i do! Waiting game now with af, due in 2 days... Why did my first pregnancy have to troll me into continual hope. Sorry to hear AF arrived - I will be investing in OPKs next cycle for sure.

LeopardLover · 13/07/2020 10:05

Hi team! Spotting has started so switching to the other thread. Keeping my hopes up for the lovely ladies still in this month!

Tigger1987 · 13/07/2020 10:32

I am so sorry @LeopardLover @claireb707 @ss123356 that AF has arrived. I have everything crossed that next cycle will be the one for you all.

I am still waiting and I hate it. I am at Chessington theme park so at least it is keeping my mind off it!

SS123456 · 13/07/2020 11:34

Have a lovely time @Tigger1987 😊

mm26 · 13/07/2020 12:01

Sorry to everyone who has had AF arrive. At least you're out of the tww and can focus on next month now 💕

I am currently on day FIFTEEN(!!!) of flashing smileys and am going nuts 😂 I know it says to stop after a certain amount of days, but I've only got a few sticks left so just going to keep going for a few days till they run out. Also my cycle is around 35 days so far. I think I ovulated on/around the 6th or the 10th? I got a temp drop on both those days. My app had predicted the 9th, but then changed to the 7th? 🤷🏻‍♀️I had EWCM I think between those dates but I've been taking antihistamines for the god awful hay fever that's been going on this year and I read that antihistamines can actually dry up your CM! So I've tried not to take them every day.

I'm so confused but I'm learning to give up trying to control/understand any of it and am just trying to go with the flow. I have been good and not tested (except for today, just to rule out flashing smileys possibly being HGC as I've heard that can happen). No testing for me now until at least a week today!

Alyosha · 13/07/2020 12:16

@mm26 wow 15 days! I was all for getting on the OPKs but maybe not, knowing my luck I would have 28 days of flashing smileys.

Very good of you not to test. I have no willpower and may get my husband to confiscate my tests for next time!

mm26 · 13/07/2020 12:27

@Alyosha yeah I started testing with OPK on CD9. Got 2 days of nothing and had flashing smileys ever since! So frustrating. I had to change the digital holder after a few days though because I dropped the original one down the toilet by accident 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I don't know if that's affecting things.

I was really bad with testing last month and I spent more than I even want to try to add up and all it brought me was anxiety/disappointment (even though I was telling myself it was fine). I literally couldn't go to the loo without thinking about testing! So i let myself do it last month and am just focusing on my cycle/DTD more regularly this month.

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 13:32

@mm26 I'm wondering if it is perhaps because of changing holders part way through that you haven't seen your peak. Have you managed to DTD plenty just in case? When should AF be due?

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 13:34

@tigger1987 is AF officially late now?

mm26 · 13/07/2020 13:55

@whambam89 that's what I'm thinking. Yeah I think we're just about covered. Annoyingly, the day I think would have been before ovulation we both fell asleep before we got the chance! But over all we've managed every 2/3 days, so fingers crossed! I think AF should be due on the 22nd now due to the app changing things around.
How are you getting on this month? I've not managed to totally keep up with the thread as I was away for a while!

whambam89 · 13/07/2020 14:08

@mm26 fingers crossed for you!

I got my static on the 5th so ovulated on the 6th (7dpo today), managed to DTD day 1,3,5 & 6 of the FW so fingers crossed but no symptoms yet. My LP is usually only around 10 days so should have a good idea in the next few days although I'm not feeling positive for some reason.

Birnam · 13/07/2020 16:41

First time using these, do we think ovulation day is the last one (today?). Not sure!! 🤔
