Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

@whambam89

Had an inkling to test again tonight after the ewcm this morning but still a circle and got my first flashing smiley... Let the baby making commence 😂
Yay! Good luck! Go get him! I have just cracked open a bottle of wine (because I can now) x
krj2608 · 01/07/2020 20:29

Just to give you all a laugh... this is my toddler summed up in one photo! Good job she is cute!

Hello everyone!
I'd normally ovulate day 14 but I'm on day 13 with no EWCM so I think it will be later this month. Ive been loosely TTC for 3 months but trying properly this month. I find TTC so frustrating.

whambam89 · 01/07/2020 20:43

@krj608 she's super cute! Don't blame you for opening the wine, you've had a long month! Let's hope July brings us all some luck x

LeopardLover · 01/07/2020 22:29

@krj2608 Oh she's soooo cute!! 🤣

@spermatozooma Hello! Hopefully it's just a couple of days later this month so you aren't left pondering. It feels like we were scared into believing it's easy to fall pregnant as youngsters, but in reality there's a lot more to it. Hoping this is your month. 😊🤞🏻

Babyyno2 · 02/07/2020 07:45

Good morning everyone

How are we all feeling?
So I've been tracking my AF and Ovulation on the Premom app and this month is 1st month I've started using the CB ovulation tests.
Premom says I ovulated yesterday however I've been doing the CB tests along side and I had my 1st smiley this morning!
So glad I started the tests as obviously they are slightly different to the Premom app.
Poor DH is going to kill me 🤦‍♀️😂
How many more days now should we DTD now that I've got smiley?

whambam89 · 02/07/2020 07:57

@babyyno2 is it the advanced or normal CB kit? If you've got a flashing smiley (only only on the advanced) then I would DTD every other day until you get a static and then do 2/3 days in a row once you get your static if you can!

Or if it's the one that you only get 2 days showing then DTD for the next couple of days!

2nd day of flashing smileys for me and DTD last night, I feel like we should do it again today but if I get flashing smileys for a while I don't want to get too tired by the time I actually ovulate 🤣

claireb707 · 02/07/2020 07:59

Way to kick me when I'm already down 😢

Got a notification on my femometer app after logging my temp this morning - when I checked this is what it was notifying me about...

I've gone back and checked previous months and my temps rise slowly and by not very much every time.

I've had the blood tests required before being referred to fertility clinic (twice) and apparently they came back normal but how can they be normal - is it more likely the doc who checked doesn't know about stuff like this?

Fucksticks 😢😢😢

No it's just the one that pinpoints the 2 most fertile days. So just goes from a blank circle to a static smiley when I'm most fertile if I'm right?
So 2 more days for DTD for us is on 💪

How are you feeling this month? Are you on track for a on time ovulation like previous months?

kirinm · 02/07/2020 08:14

@claireb707 I'd be very reluctant to allow an app to tell you that sort of thing. It says you're fluctuating and need to improve the way you're taking your temp (sorry, I'm paraphrasing) so it could be that?

Blood tests are going to be more reliable than an app. When did you last have them taken?

LeopardLover · 02/07/2020 08:17

@claireb707 Hmmm, I agree with @kirinm and do wonder how accurate BBT is, I've read things online that say not to pay it too much attention. So would bloods pick up on a potential LH defect?

claireb707 · 02/07/2020 08:22

I use Ava as well as oral bbt and they're both similar.

Last had bloods in may (as a repeat from April)

Bloods should pick up a lack of progesterone which is what generally causes luteal phase defects. There was no indication on my notes as to why the bloods needed repeating but whichever doc looked at the results decided they did.

Need partner to ring the doc to book in for his tests so we can be referred (this though is like pulling teeth - he doesn't like phoning people and doesn't like going to doc)

BuckleUp · 02/07/2020 08:34

@claireb707 It's frustrating but I would follow the docs advice rather than an app. They tend to focus on an average cycle so might not understand the variations of your personal cycle. If it makes you feel better then maybe take the charts to show the doc and get their opinion on your next visit?

@ALew15 How are you doing today? I'm cramping this morning and starting to get my usual AF acne so not holding out much hope this month. Currently about 9dpo and AF due Sunday..

SS123456 · 02/07/2020 09:09

Do you all usually record your ovulation day as the day after your peak opk? I had my peak last night on a cheap opk and a static smiley on CB yesterday afternoon so am I right to record today as ovulation day?

The July Pact....
claireb707 · 02/07/2020 09:45

My apps usually record it for me (as I'm bbt as well as opk) so rarely have to change it

SS123456 · 02/07/2020 09:55

@claireb707 I record BBT too but as soon as I have a peak opk femometer seems to want to record that day as ov day when my understanding is it's likely to be the day after. Do you app generally place ov the day after your peak opk?

ALew15 · 02/07/2020 11:08

@claireb707 I'm sorry I'm no help with BBT as I've never taken it but I agree with the others, I'd take advice from the app with a pinch of salt.
My DH sounds exactly the same, getting him to organise anything is painful!

@SS123456 I still don't know if it's peak that day or the day after. Some say even the day after that too? I think as long as u DTD in the days leading up to it that's just as important.

ALew15 · 02/07/2020 11:10

@BuckleUp ah that's a shame but you never know. Fingers crossed AF doesn't show for you.
I've woken up to a few chin spots but feel fine in myself so far. Had some creamy discharge (soz) yesterday and feeling a bit damp down there today too. Hate to symptom spot so not reading too much into it 🙄 it's about now I start to go crazy with the shall I test thoughts

claireb707 · 02/07/2020 11:21

Ah gotcha yeah I normally count it as day after peak

BuckleUp · 02/07/2020 11:55

@ALew15 What will be will be 😊. You're right though, I shouldn't symptom spot! I have started wondering if it's too soon to test (google says it is 😂)

ALew15 · 02/07/2020 12:01

@BuckleUp my Ovia app says I can test in 4 days. I think you're a day ahead of me so maybe 3 days time? I dread that disheartened feeling of a blank test, that's why I put it off 🙄

BuckleUp · 02/07/2020 12:07

@ALew15 My app is saying I should test on Wednesday after I've missed my period 🤦🏼‍♀️. Think I'd have figured that one out by myself! I think I'll test Sunday if AF hasn't arrived that day, which I think matches what you suggest. I know what you mean about putting it off, it must get harder each cycle..

LeopardLover · 02/07/2020 12:09

@claireb707 My husband is the same re doctors. Can you call for him and just get him to give approval if he's there? I know all surgeries are different but I think ours would allow that.

@BuckleUp Not long for you now! So exciting.

I've been back on YouTube... 🤣 Watched an interesting video called 'How to support implantation in your two week wait' by Fertility Homeopath. The keeping warm and staying relaxed thing makes sense! Worth a watch if you're curious.

BuckleUp · 02/07/2020 12:21

@LeopardLover I know, excited to find out either way. The TWW drags by!

That video sounds interesting and being warm and relaxed sounds lovely. Do you think you should be avoiding exercise? I've kept up my regime as normal but am now questioning if that was wise..

ALew15 · 02/07/2020 12:22

@BuckleUp I might test on Sunday too. I should be about 11/12DPO by then. At least it could be a warning to expect AF rather than the bitch just turn up!

@LeopardLover I read somewhere that keeping your feet warm is good for implantation 😂 my feet are always freezing! Must be why we're still going... 😂
