Didn't DTD last night - probably should have but we were both knackered from late nights and DD sleeping badly. I think I ovulated yesterday. Have I made a monumental error?

@kirinm Don't be so hard on yourself. Try today if you can? We skipped last night too (I haven't yet but I'm at the flashing smiley stage) but we'd been renovating our house and smashing down little walls etc. so were too tired.

It must be really hard for you guys with a DD already!

@LeopardLover she's exhausting! Up today at 5am so by bedtime we are both pretty knackered. We DTD on CD08, 10 and 11 and I ovulated on CD12 so we have been fairly consistent!

I've signed up with an online PT which starts tomorrow so hoping to keep my mind off the TWW.

Hi, I've been reading some of the posts but thought I would join in now. I'm TTC #2, we did try last 2 months but did not focus on ovulation tests etc. So I thought I would try this month. I have long cycles.. and they vary each month but average is 42 days. I'm on CD 23, expected period is 18th of July. Estimated ovulation is around 4th/5th July? I needed some advice, I just ordered clear blue advanced ovulation tests yesterday and thought I would try my first test this morning with FMU and it went to a static smiley face. What does this mean? Have I missed this month  we DTD last night though! So confused with these tests!

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet Our cycles match! When are you planning on testing? I'm hoping to hold out until at least 6th July. I keep reading too much into every twinge, but I think I'm just being hyper aware of my body at the moment and noticing things that are probably completely normal for me in the LP. Sending lucky thoughts! x

@Babyyno2 getting on good so far, DTD every other day/ every day. Currently cycle day 12 and no positive OPK but I didn't get one until day 18 with my first which I think is quite late for a 28/29 day cycle. I'm not sure? How are you getting on? Did it take you long to conceive with your first?

Hey @BuckleUp! I’m hoping to get as close to 5th as possible before testing. It’s so hard not to read into every little twinge, isn’t it?

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet It really is, though I find that keeping busy stops me overanalysing everything. Good luck holding out from testing early 😊 x

@duckii DTD again today you've not missed ovulation, you get the static 24-36 hours beforehand :)

@Rotagilla please may I join? Cycle 2 TTC. Cycle day 5.

I'm a little confused. I'm normally a 28 day cycle. This month I came on on 28th day but had spotting that day and proper bleed next day. I've never had this before so don't know if to count day 1 as the spitting brown day or the next day ( hence why I haven't predicted ovulation yet). X

@duckii do you have PCOS? As Ive heard you get numerous peaks
@Jaym78 do not count spotting as day 1, day 1 is when you have a proper bleed 😊

Really? So I'll never know when I ovulate?I have recently been for an ultrasound but it showed no ovaries. So the doctor is telling to me do a day 21 blood test. I've always had long cycles, so maybe I do have PCOS.

No cysts in ovaries I mean!

Love the PT idea, I need a distraction too. I think I'll be more chill, I went a bit crazy with symptom spotting last month.

@duckii Welcome! 😊 As someone else said, you haven't missed out - that's great timing. It could just be your ovulation date is different this month?

Sorry but I have a tmi question that I am worrying a little about and been googling.

So I am meant to ovulate around today. 5 days of flashing smileys and no static yet! On Friday evening I had some brown tinged cm and then this morning I had some pink tinged cm. I never spot in between cycles. Google suggests it might be ovulation bleeding but then surely I would have a peak OPK. Have any of you ever had ovulation bleeding or spotting mid cycle before ovulation?

@Babyyno2 I use the free Femometer app for my BBT and symptoms, then I have the CB OPK app.
