Afternoon ladies! Here we are, once again, biting our nails down to the quick during the TWW! 😂

We’re TTC after losing our first baby at 24 weeks in January 💔 but trying to stay positive, even though we’re now on cycle 5. Lots of frustrations around this as everybody else appears to be popping them out easily!!

I am trying to distract myself through dieting and healthy eating, theory being that if I’m focused on not eating crap, and googling my next workout, I’m not wasting tests and symptom spotting... 😂

Really really hoping to have a successful month this month and test early on 21st, because how lovely would it be to tell my wonderful husband I’m pregnant on Father’s Day? Well aware AF isn’t due until 24th, but a girl can dream, right?

Anyway, feel free to share your crazy with me here, or give me hope with some success stories! Also, I am very much a fan of “line eyes” threads, so hit me up with your squinters!! 🧐

I did a 10km run this morning with some friends. The last time I ran 10km was when I was six weeks pregnant and sick as a dog, so today was TOUGH! And now I’m KO’d in bed with a migraine - which is either a PG or AF symptom usually so I HAVE NO IDEA. 😂😂

Honestly thank you so much everyone! This has been such a lovely group and have definitely felt at ease speaking to you all. Hopefully there are more BFP to come too!! ❤️❤️

I haven't told hubby yet as I'm waiting until tomorrow and feel so on edge!! Is that bad? 🙈🙈

I think I had a squinter just now 🙈 but I mean, proper squinty and I don’t knowww! I didn’t even take a pic coz it was SO faint.

@emiliet123 you're doing amazing working out and all...news of your squinted got me extremely excited for you. When next are you testing or you'll wait a bit. Sorry about your migraine. Hopefully it's worth it 

@MyGossip I know right! This thread has some really lovely people and I feel very comfortable talking to y'all here. Hahaha y'all to us all you want. Just keep the secret and surprise the hubby tomorrow. I'm sure he'd be so excited.

No symptoms for me yet except slightly tender boobs and terrible metallic taste in my mouth. How do I reduce this? I love the idea of being pregnant. Praying so hard for this and for the rest of us.

@mansah2 I’m going to test in the morning, I would LOVE to be able to tell Ash on Fathers’ Day but equally I know it might have been an evap line or something, it was only one of the cheapo ones. Might give a clear blue early a go tomorrow - just splash out on the off chance!

I never got the metallic taste so I’m sorry I can’t help you with that! Does chewing gum or brushing your teeth help at all? Ohhh when I was between 7 and 12 weeks I could barely brush my teeth as the minty toothpaste set me off being sick! If you do get to that point, I found that kids strawberry toothpaste prevented the gagging 😂 I never felt as “fresh” but at least my teeth were clean and I hadn’t wasted 20 mins of my morning on the ceramic phone to god (as my dad calls it, ha!)

😖 another BFN! Damn, I was so excited to hopefully have news on Father’s Day! Ah well, I’m not out out just yet - still three days to go until AF!

@emiliet123 you're still early babe! I didn't test until I was late so don't be disheartened. You got this! ❤️

Just told hubby and he is over the moon!! Demanding I take another test now 😂😂 bless. I've just taken a digital and it says I'm 2-3 weeks which would be about right.

@mansah2 honestly try not to hang up on symptoms. I had nothing really and totally thought I was out!! I know it's hard ❤️

@emiliet123 🤣 I like the ceramic phone to God thing. And I haven't tried brushing as I'm always at work and it'd be weird lol.
it's not the end till AF shows up. Don't be too hard on yourself. It might be wrong timing today cos of Father's Day but doesn't change the fact that it's possible. Hang in there ❤️

@MyGossip awww I can imagine what hubby is feeling- What a wonderful Father's Day it'd be for him.

Just had a BFN on a FRER, AF not due till Saturday but I feel like I'm out so I've ordered some OPKs for next month. Bit gutted but it's more time to get organised.

Hey @mansah2 I'm all good thnx! I did a test on Thursday at 8DPO and it was negative so I've decided I'm not going to test again and just wait for AF. She's due either tomorrow or Tuesday but I feel crampy and have my usual period chin spot so defo don't think this is my month!

@mansah2 I think I’m out this month, starting to spot which is normally a sign AF is on the way. How are you?

So this is what I got today. AF is due tomorrow by My period calendar and on 27th when I logged in my ovulation on Flo. I'll give it one more week

@mansah2 it definitely has gotten darker since the last one you took. Definitely pregnant, but of course it’s always good to see the lines getting darker for reassurance! Congrats!

@mansah2 it's definitely darker!! Maybe retest towards the end of the week so you get a really strong line? Good luck!!

@MyGossip oh yeah I plan on doing that. My sorry is I'm told hcg supposed to double up every 48hrs so I'm not sure. AF is due on different days on two apps; today and on Saturday so I'm not too sure. But I'll just hold on

Cheers girlies - yesterday was a tough one, cried all morning, drank all the wine and then cried all night to my parents as well! Never in my life did I think I’d be telling my mum and dad about my periods every single month 😂 to be fair, they’re both lovely about it, they want me to be pregnant again ASAP!

Hiya @holb54 welcome to the club - where are you at in your cycle? (LOL such personal questions and nobody’s even bought you a drink yet). It’s not so bad for the first few months, it’s if you get a little down the lines it starts getting harder, BUT positive vibes, you won’t get to that point!

@MyGossip hmmm I think you might have missed a key element out there but I just can’t put my finger on it... 🤔
