Trying to find others with a similar cycle to mine

@Kaybobx OMG!!! I cant believe we are so similar. I have planned exactly how I would tell him too!!!! On fathers day first time dad!!! Like it would just be so amazing!!!

@Pasto2 wow that is a really long cycle but at least because you test with OPKs you know and you can BD imagine you didn't test you would be thinking your period is late. Just as well you know your body and had a feeling to test with an OPK. On the downside yeah waiting a while to test really does suck badly!!!

@candycrush2298 I've been using Flo but thinking it's wrong as my period is 5 days early, I haven't used OPK's yet but thinking about it.
I've pre warned my other half that we are going to be dtd every other day next month!
Then if it doesn't happen I'm going full blown crazy with every ovulation product I can find haha!

I felt the same squinting at mine trying to make out I saw something.
I feel ok today, slightly tender boobs, not as crampy but I am at work so I am distracted.
My cervix this morning still felt quite high but getting harder I reckon. And plenty of time for it to drop before sat when af is due.

@Jadeb1995 yeah I use flow and because you don't ovulate the same day every month Flo is sometimes off. My cycle length also varies its typically 25 days but sometimes 24 and once or twice its been 27 days. Flow just gives a guideline when you start inputting OPK data and putting your start and end dates of AF into the app it starts to become a lot more accurate but again its just an app so using OPKs is a much clearer way to determine impending ovulation or not. I totally get wanting to test waters first we did that our first year I wanted it be natural but this far along in the game you start to use whatever tools you can get your hands on.

@snapple21 nooooo do you think AF is going to show her head or just preparing yourself for in case it comes? At least your cervix is still high today each day is a day closer.

What OPK would you recommend?
Someone said about ordering a box from amazon. I've seen the clear blue ones but they are soooo expensive!

@Jadeb1995 I have just been using cheapies from Ebay you can choose any really just remember with a cheapie test strip type OPK in order for it to be a positive the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. The CB ones are much clearer if you use the ones that are fancy and sync with your phone as they will give you a flashing smiley face for highly fertile and a solid smiley face for very fertile (the time that an OPK would have a dark line) i havent used them but did do extensive research they are expensive and you have to test everyday until you get a solid smiley face so you burn through a 20pack of ovulation tests in one month making it really expensive. If AF flow arrives this weekend I am going to buy a CB Fertility Monitor which is real expensive and the tests for it aren't any cheaper but they keep all the information for up to 6 months so will be great if we need to start going to the fertility clinic to see why its not happening. For you though because you still only been trying a few months I would really say use the cheap test strip OPKs from Amazon or Ebay and see how you get on before spending loads of money. Xx

I have used the cheap opk this month and they've been fine.

But as mentioned previously the clear blue monitor is great. You can pick them up a bit cheaper on eBay.

@snapple21 yeah I also used the cheapie Ebay one this month. And I am on Ebay checking out prices and yeah they are a bit cheaper there so will likely buy one on the day if AF rears her head. I say IF because I am really hopeful. And I know what you mean it really is so hard to tell. At least the good news is that we on the final stretch by this weekend we will know.

With OPK tests, i always used the ebay cheapies but this month thought id try the clear blue digital. I got a positive peak a day or two before with that than i did the cheap ones!

@Kaybobx poison was sending us an Amazon link for a new laptop. Thats why it got deleted it wasnt conception related (possibly spam I dont know). As for OPKs whats your thoughts on the CB ones was it the Bluetooth one that links to your phone? As for your cervix OMG that sounds freaking on point how its supposed to. Ooooooh I'm crossing everything hoping AF is gone for a long time and you're growing a baby!!! I have no idea what the sharp shooting pain is but hopefully very good news like its telling you hey stop touching me I am trynna make a babe here haha!!! I only check in the shower in the evenings so will let you know about my position.

I think i rate the CB. I used the advanced digital this month for the first time as i usually use the ebay cheapies.
Ive been trying to convince since September no joy. I used CB this month and it showed my peak 1-2 days earlier than the strips (i was doing both). Im thinking i may have been missing my ovulation all this time. I dont know, if i fall pregnant this month then yup! They are good 😂

I check my cervix everytime i go for a pee incase its changed 🙈 clean hands of course. I couldnt do it in the shower, i just have visions of my husband walking in and being like what the hell are you doing woman hahaha!!

@Kaybobx lol no didnt miss anything interesting lol!!! And I am glad snapple also highly rates the CB fertility monitor so defs think I'm going to get it if AF comes this month. Gonna get one off ebay so hope it comes just as AF is finishing so that I can track from the beginning of the cycle. Just checked my cervix its higher than yesterday still not as high as ovulation and still softer but not soft soft. My cm has changed its got a milky type tinge to it now. Still coming in abundance. There has been milky streaks last few days but more clear in previous days. Today its looking more milky than clear but not quite lotion but not as watery its so weird to describe. Sorry this is massive TMI lol. Still getting mild back ache on left side and light cramps on the left side. Had more feelings of a stitch today and shortness of breath was so tired took a 2 hour nap this afternoon. Couldnt finish my dinner I was so off put by it. Got dizzy just from going down on my haunches for like 2 seconds. My boobs have been paining on the side particularly left boob but sometimes its in my right side as well. I am just so hopeful this is it. I know im working myself up and the disappointment is going to be a killer if its not but I just cant help it.

12dpo today, AF due in 2 days. Been getting strange stitch like cramps past couple of days and feeling really hot especially on a night. Just want the weekend to come then at least I know what's going on!

I am feeling incredibly pre menstrual today - proper cramps are starting. So I'm expecting tomorrow or sat for it to show it's face. Kind of happy that my cycle seems normal - normal luteal phase etc. I'm considering getting a clear blue monitor too so I don't have to analyse those lines next month 😅

@sb12985 I've been feeling so hot too! It comes in flashes and night times ive had the fan on.

@candycrush2298 oh no! Stay with me. As one of the ladies said that got her BFP said, she still had AF type cramps.

I dont feel much today, my lower back is still quite painful and my CP is high and alot firmer.

@sb12985 me too!! Weird stitch pains and hot flushes at night but sometimes just randomly during the day. Particularly starting from behind my neck its weird.

@snapple21 nooooooooo AF stay away!!!! I am hopeful but trying to remain calm it was really really difficult to not collect my fmu but I stayed strong I didn't test. Feels like an achievement 🤣 hahaahha you totally should if it helped you last time. I know what you mean I wish we could just know now.

@Kaybobx it was snapple that is having stupid AF cramps but you are totally right one of the BFPs said they were still getting AF cramps so dont worry about it yet @snapple21.

I dont have much to report ladies other than still light cramping on my left side. My legs are still a bit crampy and my left boob is still dull achy on the side. Today is when my AF cramps usually start (2days before AF is due) and then progress heavily so let's see what today and tomorrow bring.

I didn't know whether to test tomorrow morning. I really don't want to. But I'm working in the hospital tomorrow and would want to be cautious if I was around potential covid patients (not that we get many I'm actually a midwife).

@snapple21 I would definitely because I am addicted but also because of your working environment it is better to know than to worry. I'm fighting with myself not to hold my urine in and test today 🤣🤣 you got some serious will power.
