Hey everyone, jumping on this thread. Apologies for not properly reading all 751 previous messages, but congrats to those who got a BFP and fingers crossed to everyone still TTC. I recognise a few names from other threads, so hello hello if we've spoken before

About me - late 30s, TTC baby #1. On cycle 4 or 5 I think, we fell PG earlier this year but MC at 6 weeks . Horribly worried it's my age and my eggs are no good. This cycle I'm on CD 26 and testing at the weekend, praying for a BFP to give my DH on Father's Day. DH had testicular cancer, so we're a man down in that department. Feeling hopeless at the moment and also incredibly guilty about leaving all this so late in life that I might have stuffed up my chances to be a mum. I know that's irrational as the reasons for waiting until now were totally out of my control, but still.

Has anyone started a list of names of those testing and when? Would be so good to see all the BFPs for us ladies hoping to one of those "advanced maternal age" pregnant women

@Happyhappy37 aww how are you? Im good thank you for asking. 😊😘 I've cut caffeine down to 2 cups of tea a day so I'm missing my tea. 😂
Im feeling ok in myself. 5+1 I think today, I've got major insomnia yet feeling so tired. No nausea as yet though. Still feeling very anxious every time I go to the loo but taking each day as it comes. ❤

Excited for some more bfp soon from this group. 🙏 xx

Soooo.... as suspected I have a very positive opk this morning on cd13. Planning plenty of bd tonight and rest of this weekend. So when would I count as 1dpo? Monday?

I'd keep testing till they drop back neg again.

@MrsTtobe could you switch to decaf tea? That way you still get your cuppa

ah hey @jazzibelle - i recently jumped on here too! sorry to hear about your MC, but hopefully get some good news soon! I'm 37 (not sure when that happened, i'm sure i was just turning 30!) TTC #1. Defo dont feel guilty thinking you've left it late in life, there are plenty of reasons and circumstances and choices out of peoples control - just do our best and keep fingers and toes crossed eh! x

OMG I said to dp we will maybe go for a double again tonight... he said we can go as many times as I like (FYI he suggested 5) 😨 I can’t keep up he’s going to break me 😅 I have Informed twice will be suffice! He needs to remember I’m old! 👵 🤣

AF has arrived!!! Seems like the real deal this time after last month's false start. Hopefully I will ovulate this time, woop woop!

@FridaKFangirl well as I thought AF is in full flow this morning. Feeling a tad deflated as I couldn't of done anymore that cycle. On the positive side though as AF has come early at least I'm closer to ovulation this cycle. How are you feeling?

@Chlo2701 B*gger! Sorry to hear AF has arrived. Like you say though, you’re now closer to starting again!

I’m fine, I am starting to feel my self-imposed four week wait! But I still know that in the end it’s the best option for my sanity.

Must DTD today though, been a little lax in last couple of days, various health stuff/tiredness in DH and I (I have CP so less energy sometimes) and just lost a bit of momentum once I hit CD 21...

@happy 9dpo and zen as always! I do admire you. I go from being all chipper over fertile window to crazy poas symptom spotter, then finally on to dp fave time (sarcasm) psycho pms 🤪

• Mop kitchen floor and hoover *Do laundry *Oh yeah and exercise 🙃 *Also I need to remember to buy new bedsheets ☺️

You do make me laugh, I did a little research this morning about 9dpo symptoms. You lot are rubbing off on me 😂😂. Thankfully I don't have any hpt and am not planning to buy any. It wasn't in my monthly budget 🙃

@happy nothing wrong with a wee bit of symptom spotting 😅 you must stay zen... we need your sanity on here 🤣 don’t let us rub off on you any more 😂

@Loladoodle congrats on positive opk! I normally ov the day after positive so 1dpo would be Sunday but it can be 48 hours which is why it's helpful to temp for a few cycles so you know how long it takes for you to ov when stick turns positive.
